  1. Hey man, Im scheduled with dr Mwamba on 31 October. In which hotel did you stay during your visit in Brussels?
  2. Would you guys still pull the trigger and sign for the operation without contacting the dr in person first? They say I'm 'excellent' FUE candidate after seeing my photos. They have empty slots for November 1st and 3rd, hopefully no lockdown by this time
  3. I am/was not yet scheduled for the operation. I have sent them another mail to see if they will reply, but in meantime I will look for other option too
  4. I think dr Mwamba can deliver great resluts plus he is not too far away from Poland. I understand there might have been some unexpected circumstances, but they did not answer any of my (polite) mails afterwards.
  5. I was really interested in booking my operation with dr Patrick Mwamba and have scheduled an online consultation with the doctor. At the time of the consultation the doctor did not attend the meeting. Also, no one replied to my further mails and questions. Has any of you faced similar situations? Looks some clinics do not have the best customer service. Any good clinic alternatives not too far away from central Europe?
  6. Looks like my hairlie has thickened this past year on fin (photos were taken one year ago) and is still thickening so I have some good expectations. IMO doctor should not transplant into areas where I have hair, just recreate the hairline (fill in the sides) and maybe lower the front hairline just a bit, like half centimeter + recreate temple points. So no shock loss would occur in this case I guess
  7. Thanks for replies. Yeah, I definitevely agree that at this point I might just go for HT as waiting any longer will not really change anything. I also know, as I mentioned, that Im destined for higher norwood levels (if not on meds). So for now, I need to choose a FUT doctor. So options are: - Dr. Bicer - need to research more - doctor performs most of the operation + the price is affordable, but I need to research more as the results on webpage were not great - H&W - Canada (too far away) and 5$ per graft making it not the greatest option probably - Dr. Bisanga - Belgium (good location) but not sure about the price - I've emailed the clinic. Does maybe anyone know how much they charge for FUT nowadays? Or I could just go for FUE and choose for example: - Dr. Mwamba - location (Belgium - good) amd I liked the resuts, plus the price is not too expensive - 2,5 euro per graft - HLC - (location: Turkey - could be closer) great results, price similar to Mwamba BTW Is my donor looking average, or dense?
  8. Hey, thanks for the replies. Im 27, been on fin from early 2020. My loss started very early - I was already NW3 at about 17-18, but the progression was super slow, but it does progresses. My loss looks a lot like my dads, NW3 to like 40s, and then lost it. So im also headed to NW6~ if not on meds My front:
  9. Hello guys, So looks like nowadays almost all doctors perform FUE operations. I am looking for FUT doctors (would be the best if they were in Europe as I live in Poland) to be able to maximize donor capacity. I know that dr. Bicer (Turkey) performs FUT but I was not impressed with the result presented on her webpage - low quality, some looked unnatural - and those were all FUE operations too. I know that Hattingen hair performs great FUT but this doctor rejected me during our consultation saying that I have too much hair (Im a Norwood 3 with thinned front). I also know about Hasson & Wong but they are far away (Canada) and are very expensive. Do you know any doctors that perform quality FUT in Europe besides Hattingen? Or should I just go with FUE? I am probably good FUE candidate as I have rather thick and straight hair - attached photos - one after shaving and one just a bit grown out.
  10. Hi. I've read that FUT allows for better donor management (less donor gets damaged compared with FUE). Is this true even if the FUE will be performed by most skilled doctor? Preferably I would go for FUT as my first HT as I know I mostly likely will need more procedures. I have thick straight hair so it would benefit FUE potentially. My concern is that Eugenix looks like a great and affordable clinic but they dont perform FUT. Im currently thinking about going to Hattingen clinic for FUT (more expensive) or going to Eugenix for FUE (less expensive but potentially less donor after the procedure).
  11. Bump. Anyone could recommend a reputable yet still affordable FUT surgeon?
  12. Hello everyone. I hope I won't annoy any moderator with this post as I'm not that familiar with the rules of this forum. My history: I'm 26, from Poland. As a kid, always had a big forehead (born as norwood 2). When I was about 18 after a haircut I noticed, that my hairline is recessed and it looks weird (like a Norwood 3? to this point I always had bangs/fringe so it was impossible to notice any recession, I wasn't even avare of hairloss existence at that moment). The hair was very thick, I could hide it. In the span of last 8 years the hairloss gradually progressed. I'm still a Norwood 3 although I have a slightly more recessed hairline and thinning in front (hair is a lot thinner than what it used to be). My patern of loss looks similar to my dad (currently Norwood 5/6 - gradual recession over the years, accelerated after in his 30s). I have been taking finasteride for 3 months, 3 times a week, no side effects. I think I'm seeing hairs sprouting from my hairline, I have recently shaved it and under light I can see white hairs in front of my recession (where not so long ago used to be hair). I'd like to restore my hairline in the near future (about 1 year+ to see how I do on finasteride). I know that commiting to HT will mean more operations in the future, I accept that. I think I have solid donor (thick, straight, dark, dense - good for FUE?) and my chest hair looks pretty much like my scalp hair but doesnt grow that long and theres also a lot of it. My question: Are there any users from Poland or close countries that have undergone HTs and could advise on choosing the clinic? The Polish clinics are not that good (at least from what I've found on this forum, some people had HT with dr Marwan Saifi, for others there are no reviews). Eugenix looks to be an afordable option and very good clinic but they are very far away (10h flight to India and expensive ticket). I know about Turkey and clinic s like Asmed or Hair of Instanbul have solid reputation - looks viable, but expensive (more expensive than Eugenix). Any other options?
