  1. You could use oral minoxidil if you're talking around a year off finasteride.
  2. @Scarhelp you could try contacting Dr Jerry Wong in Canada. Send him pics of your scar and see what he thinks in terms of is it worth doing another strip to narrow the scar's width? Do you have nay other scars? do they tend to heal well? For many people genes will determine this. I had bad punch graft scars and later scars from trying to reduce the width. I had SMP and was fairly happy with the results. Later when I had my first and second hair transplant I had beard and body hair farmed into the scars. All the best.
  3. I would wait to see what dutasteride does for 12 months before committing to surgery. All the best.
  4. EOD is fine for 1mg finasteride but I would give it a year before judging it’s benefits. Even if your hair loss hasn’t changed then it’s still working. All the best.
  5. @azza786 this is night and day from your previous posts. Your hairline looks soft and natural. NaturaL is the prize every patient is looking for. From my own experience I found having SMP was an aid in my results. Especially with scars and the illusion of greater density. Stag strong bro. The finish line is in sight! πŸ’―πŸ‘ŒπŸ₯‚
  6. 1,200 grafts. Even better I hope 🀞 Thanks @OliverAtom. πŸ™
  7. She threatened to kill me if I didn’t reveal where the curly hair in the donor scars came from? I ain’t given up my pubes for anyone! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚
  8. I have to agree with @Berba11. If you look back to the original pre op pics this is too early at 5 months to judge anything. Growth will continue for the months ahead. The donor has already bounced back well. πŸ‘Š
  9. @SeanToman don't be too worried about this. The number of grafts were originally not a huge amount in number. Communication is really important (especially post op) in surgery and that's difficult to avoid with many surgeons around the world. I'm confident that this will be the extra subtle result you are looking for. πŸ’―πŸ‘Œ
  10. Stay well @track_rat. Looking forward to seeing you post again. πŸ‘
  11. Personally I wouldn't get too caught up on the figures. The higher the number grafts and the lower the density then more area can be covered. But in reality where the grafts are placed dictates everything. With an elite surgeon art comes into it and their own artistic mix will determine the results with donor capacity, etc. Make sure you see lots of previous patient results. I would be guided by the work you like and how you feel about which surgeon you feel has your best interests from communication with him/her. Personally I like Laorwong. Wishing you all the best!
  12. Thanks @Steeeve. Donor’s looking very thin on it. Hoping over the coming months it will bounce back. Early days, literally. . πŸ™
  13. I hear you. So this time time around you no longer get side effects from Finasteride? I take it you are using it topically with no sides?
