I have had a transplant for hairline before . Not my first rodeo in that sense. I have pics on my other posts . I am on oral min 2.5 mg and finasterade for like 8 years heres a current pic of the thinning . Was just looking for someone who had the same situation and actually went into the surgery for diffuse thinning .

Hey all , does anyone have any Drs they would recommend for diffuse thinning ? Im looking to do FUE. Id love to hear from anyone that had a successful transplant with diffuse thinning and who they went to / recommend - dont recommend . Thanks in advance , Nick

@Hair4Days i was kinda thinking that as well . It sucks because i really thought oral min would be a game changer and i really havent noticed anything might have to up to 5 . Thanks for input

Hey all i am a 30 yo male . I have had hairloss since i was 17 yo , i had a hairtransplant with Dr. D**** in 2020 . I am currently taking Oral Min 2.5 mg for about 8 months, and finasteride for over 7 years. I am very happy with the hairline i have now post surgery. My concern now is my diffuse thinning on the top . I wanted to know if anyone had any good surgeons that they would reccomend for this as well as maybe a link to the post with pictures. I am well aware that we only have a limited amount of donor hair so i want to make it count. I am also aware that it can be very tricky to implant next to native hair and really depends on the skill of the surgeon . I am based in CA and only interested in going with in the states/ Canada . Also if you guys know the punch size that would help i believe that D**** did 1.0 . Thanks in advance ! Attached are some photos as well as my donor area post 1st transplant.

Hey guys i had a HT last year and am very happy with hairline. I have diffuse thinning and wanted to get on Oral minoxidil. Ive been taking Fin for 10 + years and stabilized and topical min off and on but due to needed it all over my scalp looking at trying oral min. So i had 2 appointments with derms about wanting to try Oral Min and they both declined. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get Oral min . I live in the USA so i wouldnt mind paying an online fee to schedule a zoom call with a Dr . that is know to prescribe. Anyways if anyone knows of a Dr/HT surgeon that prescribes can you let me know . Also before you ask i have reached out to the DR. that did my HT and it has been for responce for 1 week . Thanks!

Hey all i had a HT with Dr. Diep about a year ago . I had 1800 grafts and i am happy with my hairline . I wanted to get an other one due to me having diffused thinning . I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions for surgeons that use small punches to extract and can harvest beard hair . I feel with Dr . Diep he used to big of a punch and it seems noticeable attached are post opp Fue images and current day donor area as a result . Let me know what you think also i live in California .

@Johan not really pretty much same as yesterday i stopped taking pain killers due to them doing nothing for me i get some relief from advil oddly enough

Hi all, I am a 28 yo male that just had 1650 grafted implanted to my frontal hair line and corners. It was done by Dr . Diep via FUE 1650 grafts. I would really appreciate any recommendations / your experience with donor area pain. I have a very high pain tolerance and this by far is taking the cake for me. I have broken my wrist and collar bone from sports and my donor area hurts more than that ! I can describe it as constant dull pain/ scalp tightness . I am unable to get comfortable to sleep no mater what position . Over the past 3 days i probably only got like 6-7 hours of sleep so i know sleep has alot to do with it . Things I have been Doing : Washing donor area as instructed Applying neosporin x3 a day Took all antibiotics/swelling medication Meds Prescribed : Tramodol Norco I have no been taking the norco i think i will bite the bullet and take it today i have however been taking advil x400 miligrams and the tramodol and it does nothing for this pain what so ever. Once again thanks for the input and if you have any suggestions on how long this will last let me know !
