Average density is not only measured by number of grafts per sq cm, it's also depending on the type of hair and scalp empty areas measurements, 50-60 sq cm of my type of hair won't give the same coverage effect of a candidate with fine thin blonde hair or candidate with thick curly hair, there's no binary formula, every candidate is a unique case with it's own potential, average density is just a single property for evaluation.

How old are you? You donor looks ok, thin hair but healthy. can also use some of your beard. Seems you're NW6 and you'll need at least 6500-7000 grafts to cover everything, I think we can get around 4000 scalp grafts on 1st surgery + some beard to cover frontal and middle scalp, we'll need more pictures and videos including to exam more detailed your donor roots quality. I meant NW5 as your natural potential pattern, the Finasteride can, however we can't know how much it will effecf, it varies between every user. If you only consume ORAL Finasteride than you can do this while having a surgery, but with topical you must stop 2 weeks before surgery then use it again 4 weeks post op.

At this point your eligible for a hair transplant surgery, at least for the frontal area, if you decide to now HT you can continue with Finasteride but ONLY if it's oral, all topical liquid formulas make the scalp more sensitive so you need to stop using 2 weeks before surgery, the same goes for any blood thinner meds. Seems in couple of years you'll be at least NW5, right now for sure the frontal area is ready, crown maybe too soon due to the amount of native hairs you still got.

It seems you're on the border for having diffuse thinning over the donor area, so Finasteride and Minoxidil can help you a lot, you should see if there's a change between 3-6 months, I myself in the past experienced side effects from the oral Propecia Finasteride pills, so I switched to topical formula of 1% Finasteride mixed with 5% Minoxidil that helped a lot my vertex crown area, I had 2 hair transplants over my crown in 2021 and 5 months ago, when I didn't use meds in 2021 the transplanted hair only started to grow after 6 months and this time after 4 months due to the boost of the blood streaming from the topical formula. Thank you 🙏🏻 I totally agree with you, patients should always show how the transplanted area and donor recovery resembles in reality, the public should always avoid to take references from results with blurry quality or dark rooms like it was taken from inside the sarcophagus, I see this happening with many hair mills dudes.
