This one is going to be a home run. So happy to see the @Eugenix team still killing the game. You were very smart to have both Drs. Arika and Pradeep handle the surgery. There should be a post pinned to the top of the forum that says, “Don’t overthink it. Pay up for the duo supreme super package or whatever the hell they call it these days because it is absolutely worth it.” Do you want the guy who can come off the bench to get you a bucket or do you want the guy who can hit the game winner at the buzzer? I know who I’m choosing. They are absolutely worth every rupee.

You're result was and is off the charts !
I know myself and few others are considered to have given many High Norwoods hope..but I honestly believe you had a similar impact on all the other let's say lower Norwood dudes ..( the luckier ones 😄)..
Till we here from you again

Hello Gentlemen,
Sincerest apologies for my prolonged absence. Honestly, after I passed the year mark I moved on and kinda forgot about this forum. Last night, however, I was cruising YouTube before bed, and the all knowing algorithm delivered a video by forum member Mr. Rolandas (that guy's HT is one of the best I've ever seen), and it made me think that you guys are owed an update. It thrills me to see all of the Eugenix patients on the forum now, and it looks like even our esteemed @Melvin- Moderator has had some work done there, which is looking phenomenal btw. @Zoomsteris probably too swamped in pussy after his second procedure to go back for a third, and @Looking for HT's hair is so strong now it appears to be doing follicle muscle ups. @MazABlooks like he should be on the cover of Men's Health and the forum's kindest member @Gatsby is looking like he might make a run at Zoomster's title as most impressive Norwood 7 transformation. Needless to say I am absolutely thrilled to see all of you thriving and living your best lives.
Because this post is a bit impromptu, I haven't prepared any pictures for this purpose, but I have included some random selfies taken over the past few months in a variety of lighting situations. Have noted where styling products were used.
30 months - blow dried w/ styling clay (Hanz de Fuku - Quicksand). Window sunlight.
30 months - post morning workout, no styling or product.
27 months - random Sunday afternoon no styling. Longer hair.
29 months - right and left temples, outdoors and blow dried w/ styling clay (Hanz de Fuku - Quicksand)
29 months - office lighting blow dried w/ styling clay (Hanz de Fuku - Quicksand). Fresh haircut.
28 months - just woke up hairline and donor area. Natural light.
I think it goes without saying that I'm very happy with my long term results. Has changed my life. All in I spent around $6000, so I consider this about as good as it gets for the price. I still use the big 3 religiously and otherwise take good care of the hair that I've got.
I have started to notice some miniaturization in my mid scalp and recently had a pretty heavy shedding event, so just remember that MPB is for life. You will always be fighting it so use your grafts wisely and don't be afraid to hop on Finasteride. Can't stress that last part enough. I will probably get another HT in the future to bulk up the mid scalp area behind my transplant and perhaps fill in the little gap in the front, but I don't plan to do it anytime soon.
If there are any questions, I will pop back in to answer them, but after that it's probably the end of this thread until the next time I sit in the chair.

12 months in the book. Has been a a fulfilling journey. I have nothing but the deepest gratitude to the Eugenix team for giving me my hair and confidence back. I can recommend, without reservation, their services and hope my pictures and documentation can help someone else make an informed decision about their own hair restoration options.
As usual have added different views. 1) Barely towel dried in direct sunlight like if you’re at the beach. 2) Towel dried outside 3) styled with clay no fibers indoors4) Same as #3 but in direct sunlight 5) Same as #3 but outside.
I do feel that a year’s worth of Rogaine has helped my crown somewhat. Not a massive difference but noticeable.
This is it for me until 18 months. Will be back with one more update at that time.
Peace,
Fluff

Eugenix explains it well in this video:
I have personally experienced it myself, and apparently @Zoomsterhas also. I think that case by case there are many factors at play, but I would assume the primary one is how many transplanted hairs actually grew in the first place. If less than full growth was achieved, the desynchronization phase might be more obvious. Also gotta remember that your native hair isn’t guaranteed to stick around even if you’re on Finasteride. Miniaturization of native hairs will impact the result over time. For me it hasn’t caused much of a drop in the overall aesthetic, but it does strengthen the urge to bulk up what I have with a second pass. For us poor bastards suffering from hair loss, it’s a never ending fight. Just have to stay hopeful and consistent. 😊

Hi Guys
Hope everyone had a peaceful and happy Christmas....I’m a Week late with the 12 month update but Christmas kinda got in the way 😊
I had a grade 2 shave at back and sides 23 Dec and about an inch of the length on top ..I’m very happy how things have panned out however I am relying on fibres to give me some extra coverage mid scalp and crown ..just a very little sprinkling ..
A couple of take aways from the 12 month pics attached
-I’ve definitely been on the receiving end of some harsh anagen desynchronisation and whether I’ll regain some or all of the lost hair is still an unknown I guess
- I’ll definitely be revisiting the team towards the end of next year to fill in the mid scalp / side part area and crown
- and absolutely was the correct decision as a NW6/7 to go ahead and have the procedure ...as I may of mentioned before ..you restore much more than just your hair when you go ahead and decide to have a HT..
choose your Operating team very carefully ..
im hopeful of still further slight improvements throughout the next 6 months ...to lead me into final procedure number 2....
have a great and safe 2021 guys and a sincere thanks to all the supportive comments throughout our journey together..

I too have experienced a fair amount of anagen desynchronization. My theory is that the "12 month" result for Eugenix patients actually happens around month 11 because most of us experience such early growth. I believe it will come back, but it definitely looks a little disconcerting.
Overall, however, both of our results are very good, and a little density work will make them even better. Happy New Year, brother!

Praying for the best @paddyirishman. In this world of COVID uncertainty, I'm feeling despondent that we haven't heard you in almost 6 months. I asked Nelson to reach out to you on WhatsApp, and he said he wasn't able to get a response. Waiting for the day that you suddenly show back up on the forum with locks of hair that would make Elvis envious. Hoping your absence is just a ploy to build up the greatest possible anticipation for your 12 month result. 😄

Welcome to the Eugenix fraternity! Post op looks A+. Not a ton of hairline cases like this from Eugenix, so I hope you continue to update us. I'm finishing up 12 months very soon and am thrilled with my result. Looks like you're set up for success. Have a speedy recovery and happy growing!

honestly that gap in the middle looks very good. it adds a natural 'element'. If i was you I wouldnt do anything about it, however i can see how it may become annoying.
In person and under certain lighting it's not great. I would prefer it be filled in. I think I've just experienced some shedding, though, which is natural and to be expected. I've already started to experience some regrowth in that area. Should look better by month 12.

Even if a small touch-up is needed the operative word will definitely be small. I think you're in a really good spot and now you know your physiology isn't overly inclined to screw you over. Your patience is paying off.
The journey itself has been fascinating. Regrowth is not linear, transplanted hair isn't suddenly immune to the laws of nature and surgeons are humans who unfortunately don't have all the answers and/or the perfect plan for your particular head or individual biochemistry. The restoration process is a fluid one without a rote formula for guaranteeing success.
Overall I'm very pleased with my outcome. I'm in no rush to take the next steps. Will enjoy what I have for the time being.

The refinement of your hairline is outstanding, it’s like you were born with that hairline. I see the area, and I have a similar area myself. Hair greed gets us all, but in my opinion doesn’t need anything.
When that balding guy isn’t so far behind in the rearview mirror, it’s hard not to wish for the bullet proof hairline when it seems so close. Hair greed is real. Ha. Thanks for stopping by, Melvin.

11 months! Time positively flies. Excited for this final stretch before my 1 year anniversary. Has been a helluva year.
Nothing much to report, and I don't think I've seen much improvement over month 10. I have started to experience some anagen desynchronization in the hairline. The persistent gap toward the middle right hand side has once again become slightly problematic. I think I simply need a few more grafts to strengthen it up. Will enjoy what I've got until it becomes possible to zip back over to India for a touchup.
Always available for questions. Hope you gentlemen have a wonderful Christmas season and happy New Year!

To all high norwoods ..my advice would be always try and have some of your available grafts placed within the crown area to allow fibres to have something to grab on to ..
pointless leaving the crown untouched if you plan on having concealers as part of your arsenal
light sprinkling of fibres into crown in pic attached.
Ain't nothing wrong with a little pixie dust. Looks phenomenal in this picture. I use it on my crown as well when I have a client meeting. Really a difference maker. When you and @Looking for HTgo back, let me know. Will join for a touchup myself. Looking forward to the 12 month update!

After the touchup, this is going to look ridiculously good. Your hair is so dense and thick. You've got tons of donor left. You're gonna get the front bulked up and the temples tweaked and hair loss is going to be a distant memory. Can't wait to see it.

I’m just looking thinking how good your donor area looks after taking 7000 grafts! 🤩
I second this. Still amazing density! You've got to go back, man!

What is your plan? To adress crown? And how many grafts do you estimate are left in your donor?
Edit: sorry for the erroneous reply! Thought you were replying to me.
I have a weak spot on the left side of the hairline. It’s noticeably less dense than the right side. When I use some styling putty and the hair is layered it’s less noticeable. Still makes setting my hair more challenging than I’d like, so I’d love to get it filled in with a few hundred grafts. Then behind my hairline moving toward my mid scalp there is a fairly large weak spot that I’d like to strengthen a bit. I simply want to shore up the illusion of density a bit more. Luxury touch up? Most definitely. Not in a hurry at the moment. Going to see how it all looks after 12 months.
Dr Arika said I still have roughly 5000 grafts left. Crown work is something I don’t have plans to do.

@Gatsby The other day, @Melvin- Admin popped up in my YouTube feed announcing the Hair Transplant of the Year, and I was stoked to see the award go to you. What an incredible transformation. Simply stunning. Black magic fuc*ery. There is no patient more deserving than you. I figured I'd swing by to congratulate. Enjoy that stunning mane, bro. Welcome to having your life back. It's an incredible feeling. 😎
