  1. @Dr Tejinder Bhatti, what are some of the reasons why a normal patient’s grafts don’t grow. Are there any tests that a prospective patient can perform before the transplant that can shed light on this.
  2. @Melvin-Moderator, Do you know any other clinics that do this or have done this in the past where the patients are paid off to not report their negative experiences.
  3. I as long as there’s somewhat regular progress, I wouldn’t worry too much. I think you’ll have a month or so with a massive transformation.
  4. I’m just looking at the results on here which is posted by random and regular folks like us which should be a fair assessment of what the clinic puts out. Your result should also come out to be great if all the grafts or most of the grafts take hold. It might just be talking a little longer is what I feel and hope.
  5. You could try topical finesteride as well. The side effects are greatly reduced if you used this. There are places that can make this available to you.
  6. Waiting for it eagerly. Just spoke to Dr Arika again today and she was able to answer a lot of questions I had regarding my hairline and other general questions. @Eugenix Hair Science is also doing a lot of additional checks and preventive measures that should prevent patients and surgeons from contracting Covid 19 during these times. Waiting for the lockdown to be lifted to schedule my transplant. In your case, could the grafts have been implanted a little deeper than normal which is probably why they’re taking a little longer to pop out.
  7. @satindersooch123, how many grafts did Dr Bhatti implant.
  8. I have been on finasteride for the past 2 months and on average take it 4 times a week, at the 1 mg dosage. I’ve definitely noticed that my hair loss has reduced to the point that I have almost no hair loss on some days. When I do however see hair falling when I comb my hair over a sink, they seem to be fine hair or thinning hair. What is this suppose to mean. I have read online that this is a good sign since it means that the thinning hair will be replaced with stronger hair. I am not entirely sure if I can believe this. Another question I have is whether finasteride works on the entire scalp or just the crown. Again there are differing opinions regarding this when I research online. Hoping for some of the more experienced members on this forum to chime in.
  9. Most of us appreciate what you’re doing @Melvin-Moderator so keep doing what you’ve been doing. This forum has been super helpful for me and I am sure that a lot of people would agree with me.
  10. Hi @Karn, thank you for posting your transplant experience. Your pre shed photos do look good and if that’s how your end result is supposed to look, it should be a very good improvement. Your crown does look a little thin but that could be due to the lighting and a little bit of shock loss. Did the doctors not prescribe you finesteride to halt the progression of the hair loss. Also, do you know what the graft density of the transplanted hair was. I have a similar hair loss pattern as yours and this information would be very useful.
  11. Hi @Looking for HT, do you not see any new hairs sprouting out since your last update. I would think that there would be some progress even if it was very slow. I remember your initial posts where we could clearly see that your grafts were growing after the transplant and there was very good density. I would assume that this would mean that they were transplanted successfully and were fine before the normal shed.
  12. Looks like there is new growth since the last update and as long as you’re still seeing new hair sprouting out, I’m assuming it’ll keep getting thicker and thicker. Are you not seeing new hair popping out ??
  13. @Fluffhead Looks like some good improvement specially with the dry hair and in some angles. If this is just the start and most of the growth is still remaining, this could be an amazing result. Your donor looks like nothings’s been taken out. Hope it keeps getting better.
  14. @baldboy7, how’s it coming along. Do post updated pictures.
  15. @samprint, I know it’s been a very long time but curious to know how your results came out.
  16. @Madeithere, In know its been a very long time but can you post some pictures to show us how it all turned out.
  17. I hope things are progressing well, looking forward to your next update and pictures.
  18. Thanks for the updated pictures. It looks like you’ve not had any shedding or maybe the lighting is playing tricks on us. Do you see any new growth ??
  19. Hi @Loadrunner, I hope it’s going well. It’s been a month since your last update and was hoping to see how you’re progressing.
  20. Looks like it’s coming along very nicely. 🙂 Do you think all the transplanted hair have started growing at this point or do you still expect an increase in density in the coming months. Also, do you know how many grafts were transplanted per square centimeter. It looks like the grafts were used very optimally while still providing good density.
  21. Thanks for responding so quickly. I remember the post about singles vs doubles used on each of the temples. Hopefully, they even out as the doctor suggested. Do you take any other medication or have low blood haemoglobin, I remember reading somewhere that having low harmoglobin is not conducive to hair growth.
  22. Exactly, we mostly set ourselves up with unrealistic expectations due to some amazing results and early results. Gotta blame people like @paddyirishman and @Zoomster for this. I kid of course. 😁😁 Having said that, do you see any action in the last couple of weeks and since your last update.
  23. Very good idea @Melvin-Moderator. You could probably even start a channel called Hair restoration network and document the good save bad results we’ve seen on the forum. I would gladly share my results as a week by week update so people can see firsthand how your head evolves after a hair transplant. All this of course is after the Covid 19 lockdown is lifted and I can get my transplant done at Eugenix.
