  1. Thanks for your input, Melvin. I did actually consult with some of them already, and planning on consulting the rest. For some of them I only had the chance to talk with reps instead of the actual surgeons, but they all effectively answered my questions and provided me with a detailed plan. I'm consulting with the rest and doing little bit of research before I decide. Thank for your recommendations, I'll check them out. I agree while no surgeon (no matter how good they are) will always produce satisfactory results considering everyone has different physiology and expectations, but I've also noticed that some famous surgeons out there are producing an alarming number of unsatisfactory results. So I'm just trying to lower my risks to a minimum. I'm picking FUE because I like to have my back and sides short. Also all the surgeons I've consulted with so far have recommended FUE over FUT in my case.
  2. Hello all I'm almost 30 with NW3-ish. My hairline has been the same for 4-5 years, but I wasn't gonna leave it to chance so I've been taking Finasteride 1 mg daily for a year. I experienced zero side effects but also regrew nothing back. Minoxidil hasn't helped either so I decided to take the plunge and go with an HT. I'm not looking to get my juvenile hairline back or any of that sort. I'm trying to be conservative and wanna bring my hairline to a solid NW2, but I want natural looking density. I'm been researching some hair surgeons in North America mostly and based on my research I've reached this: 1- H&W: more specialized in FUT than FUE, but still produce great FUE results nevertheless. Little bit pricey: 8 USD per graft for first 2000 2- Rahal: specialized in hairlines and produces very natural looking hairlines. Reasonable prices: 6 CAD per graft. He would've been my top choice but I found a decent amount of bad experiences from users on this forum compared to the other hair surgeons so I'm little bit reluctant. 3- Shapiro and Konior: Top class. But also little bit pricey and looks like they have long waiting periods according to people here. 4- Vories and Gabel: both seem to have a good reputation around here but not as many results as the other hair surgeons. Vories's prices are reasonable (4-5 USD per graft), I couldn't find Gabel's prices. But they both seem specialized more in higher norwood stages and their transplants aren't as dense as the other surgeons (I could be wrong). What do you all think? Any other recommended hair surgeons?
