  1. Wow, these results are mindblowing, @Abhinay Singh. Thanks for sharing this. Just wondering if the patient had his hair trimmed on the crown area as I can see some small hair around crown area, or is that the natural hairgrowth he has there.
  2. Hi @Dalveer, hope all is good with you. It should be your fifth month now, and I hope things show good progress in your side. Waiting for updates for my own reference and confidence
  3. Thanks for the photo update @paddyirishman. As always, a picture speaks more than the words. It will be great if few more hair loss patients can share their post-op scalp or beard area photos on a shaved, trimmed styles on this thread. This is something I look forward to know as a potential HT candidate.
  4. I believe it is available over the counter, without a prescription in any pharmacy, or based on your region it might be even available to purchase online. I do believe however that you'd take oral minoxidil only under an experienced doctor's advice.
  5. Sorry to see this @watterot, but I hope things get better. Perhaps in a year's time your transplanted hair would grow longer, and you'll be able to comb over. However this shouldn't stop you from doing another HT to coverup the patch, since the no. of grafts would be fewer compared to a mega session. I have been looking at clinics and doctors too. So far I'm only impressed by Dr. Suneet Soni's Medispa and Dr. Pratheep Sethi, Dr. Arika Bansal from Eugenix. The latters representatives are also polite, kind and faster to respond to all kinds of queries. Due to COVID-19 situation my HT plans have been postponed indefinitely though 😢
  6. Hi @Dalveer, thank you for posting the updates. I think it's still early to judge your final results, as it would take 10 months the least to show a complete progress if I am not mistaken. I can see the mark at 55 days of your update. Does the trichophytic closure helps hair grow through the stitches? I think the case with same with most Indian doctors, in terms of their full involvement in the surgery procedure. Look forward to your future updates too.
  7. Hi @Dalveer, I am not expert to talk about the process done, but I'll be waiting for more updates from you to see the progress. What was your baldness class, and do you happen to have any photos before transplant? I am also considering a transplant by end of this year. Dr. Suneet Soni told me I would need 4000 grafts. I am a bit skeptical about FUT scars and trichophytic closure, but I see he have some really good results with no scars visible at all after hair grows. All the best, and keep posting
  8. @givemehair2019 your donor area looks thinner, and the scalp is visible, which unfortunately means a FUT procedure, even with a trichophytic closure, may still reveal the strip scar on your scalp. Have you tried any medications for hairloss like Finasteride, Dutasteride or Minoxidil? I am on Finasteride for 2-3 months now, and I started feeling my hair as dense and thicker. I'm trying Finasteride ✌️ to check if it works on me without giving sides. For your case I would highly recommend visiting a clinic first to get it examined by the doctors. Perhaps you can me on medications for sometime, and see the progress in an year time and get your transplant once you have slightly more denser hair.
  9. Yes, I too don't have a problem if the surgery goes wrong, or if I don't get the expected results. But I also don't want to be over harvested, with no more grafts for future HTs. That's why I was considering FUT first, then another FUT or FUEs in the future. I do feel I'll need many more transplants in the future - referring to how I inherited from my dad. Most of the "bad transplants" here are addressed differently by clinics. Some don't respond, some gets a response after a moderator intervenes. In this case I think Eugenix will be much reliable as they are quite active all the time in this forum. I cannot be very sure about Medispa because they mostly respond on good results
  10. I am not aware of Eugenix's new pricing. They told me their estimate by end of December and asked me to book before end of December. I have made a google sheet comparing prices. I could share it with you over PM. AKClinics was cheaper than Eugenix, but I wasn't really impressed with the results. Sure, Dr. Dua is a big name, but if you need to get it done with him the price is quite high. I had a one hour call with Dr. Dua. He is a very nice person and talked about the transplant facts. He was very patient and willing to answer all my questions. I got to talk to Dr. Soni over voice call, and it was a bit rushed. There are different answers from different doctors. Most doctors have asked me to stop Finasteride 10-15 days before HT, and strictly no other medicines 1 month prior to HT.
  11. I never really got a proper response from Darling Buds. There's one thing about their "suceessfull cases". Every doctor will have good results and bad results. I was so convinced with Dr. Suneet, but then I found a really unfortunate rsults by @thappa. Do share your feedback on your experience with Darling Buds @Indian_Canadian
  12. Hello @Indian_Canadian, thank you for tagging me and your points mentioned above is a valid concern. I was also looking at a FUT + FUE, or just FUT with trichophytic closure, since with FUT I can get dense coverage. But then, there is scar stretching issue. As far as I have read different skin work differently. Since most of us are looking at doctors online and considering (and paying the fees) with just online consultations, we may not (or even the surgeon) may not get a full picture of our skin for FUT. I am still thinking of an FUT first, but I am not convinced with results. The scar stretching is a real thing, and it can happen over time. I even spotted the scar in one of the videos (at 3:33) I wish clinics showed their results up close and stretch marks as a close up photo, instead of combing video. Based on your pictures however, it seems like you are a good candidate for FUE alone. You have a good donour area, and you don't have any signs of hairloss on the neck. You could proceed with Eugenix in my opinion. They have comprehensive and few other packages too. I had spoken to many clinics in India - MedLinks, Medispa, AKClinics, Eugenix, to name a few. So far AKClinics and Eugenix were the most professional in responding. It took me 3-4 times to push to Medispa to get any reply. I guess they are too busy :)) I even spoke to Dr. Suradej Pong in Thailand. His response was really good, and his website have quite too many results (before and after), but he is pricier than any Indian clinics. Anyways, I hope you'll get to decide soon. By the way are you taking any medicines now? I am on Dutasteride and Minoxidil since 3 months, but planning to switch to Finasteride, Biotin, Minoxidil, etc by this month. I think by taking medicines I can see if I get any results, which would eventually be the way to keep the hair after transplant as well.
  13. Your progress is really good @paddyirishman. I'll be following your progress closely. You had 3500 something grafts implanted right? Does that leave your donor area for a second or third transplant? I ask this because balding is a progressive condition and one may be ready for 2nd, 3rd of 4th transplant season right? As far as I know the “celebrity “ hair transplant mentor Joe did 10 transplants 😁. This is one reason I keep contemplating on a FUT procedure first, or a combination of FUT+FUE because that leaves more grafts to be taken for future HT sessions.
  14. This result is mindblowing @Dr. Suneet Soni & @Medispa Team!! I am more thrilled to see the results because I have decided to get a transplant for 4000+ grafts on a single session FUE+FUT by next year.. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 How about the patient's medications and PRP sessions. Would you like to share about that @Medispa Team. How many PRP sessions and what kind of medicines he took post transplant?
  15. Hello @dasankur, good to read about your successful hair transplant. I am also contemplating HT from Dr. Suneet. I was wondering if you have documented your hairloss, results after the surgery so that I can feel more convinced. I am already convinced from the clinic's portfolio, but still looking for personal uploads more. Thank you in advance
  16. Hello @jjsrader I'm researching a bit about results by Dr. Suneet from Medispa, and you had replied to a previous post I wrote (thank you for that). I just read that you did a transplant from Medispa. Have you documented your hairloss, hair transplant and hair growth progress here on the forum that I can refer to? Also, I am trying to read more about the strip stretching. Since you mentioned about your stretching I am curious if you would like to share a picture so that I can see. It's up to you and I respect your privacy if you don't want to share. Thanks in advance.
