  1. I’ll keep it relatively brief, and if anyone has any questions or wants further details, please let me know! In 2007 I had approx 900 graft FUT temple restoration here in Australia, and 12 years later decided it was time to go again. I got in touch with Shera (a patient rep for Dr. Bhatti), who has been incredibly helpful for the entire journey. After sending photos of my hair as it was, I was quoted 2500 grafts, and ended up with 2650. I arrived in Chandigarh on Monday afternoon and was taken straight to the 5 Rivers Medical Centre. I filled out some paperwork, paid another deposit, and met with Dr. Bhatti. He drew some lines on my head, asked me to take pictures of it, and look it over that night so that if I wanted any adjustments we could talk about it before my surgery. I was then taken into a room and had my blood taken for tests. The morning of the surgery, Dr. Bhatti redrew the line on my head. Looked good to me - if anything it was slightly lower than the one the night before. My head was shaved and I went in for surgery. The rest of the day is a blur. I was in and out of sleep quite a bit during the surgery and don’t remember a great deal. At the end of the surgery I was helped off the table, and sat down at another table for some pizza. At this point my eyes were quite blurry, and I was made to sign a medical certificate. Looking at it now, I can barely make out my handwriting - my eyes were so blurry I couldn’t see what I was writing. I can’t recall what happened after that, but I was driven back to my hotel. Day 1 post-op, and Day 2, I went back in to get my head washed. The bandage covering the donor area was supposed to come off on Day 2 but the staff member who was washing my head mistakenly put it back on (she thought I was day 1 post op). No-one said anything, but I could tell it wasn’t meant to be on by the way they interacted with each other. I took it off myself later that night with no issues. Late on Day 2 I noticed there were two clots formed under the skin where my IV was put in. I sent a photo to the clinic, and they advised my to purchase an anti coagulant from a pharmacy. I went to 3 pharmacies but none of them had it, so I messaged the clinic again and they sent a pharmacist with what I needed. I had no pain or swelling at all for the ensuing 3 days. The swelling happened on Day 3 on my flight home. The swelling was gone entirely on Day 8. It’s currently 3.5 weeks (24 days) post op. There’s only very slight pain left in my donor area, and some numbness in a small patch in my frontal area. Overall my experience was a good one. There were elements of the process that felt slightly rushed, but I don’t think it had any impact on the overall outcome. The Dr and the staff were all pleasant to deal with. I've posted before pictures, directly post op, and Day 23. At this point, I’m going to reserve my opinion until the 6 month mark, and my judgment on the overall outcome until 12 months to give my hair time to do it’s thing. Happy hair growing!
