hello Raik783, you have to think that not all the people who goes to Asmed clinic will have my result, and probably they will have good result, Asmed is a known clinic with a lot of experience, so sincerely im not judging his work in general, i never did cause im not interested neither in promoting him and neither in put him down. I only watched his results before the first operation in 2013 and for the second i didnt even consult others doctors and went directly to him because for me it was a guarantee in terms of results. Im judging what he has done to me, that's the only thing i'm interested in, and nothing else. And for me on MY head he did a bad job. And im FREE to tell what i think about it, because is MY f*** head!! For the answer about your question, i still didnt decided how to fix this problem, my donor is finish, very little can be taken from, so the right way is going with beard and body hair. But sincerely going for another surgery and with no security that this going to solve the problem, make me think about it. Good luck with your decision!

Hello to everybody, Is been a while since i didnt post anything. I would like to update some pictures after now 2 years from the surgery, and also tell you some news about what have been the last moves of Asmed clinic and Doctor Koray. Well it turns out that this year the clinic proposed me to go there and possibly intervene with a donor exchange to remedy the overharvesting i have suffered. This didn't convinced me completely to be sincere, but i had taken it into consideration and may be take the opportunity to visit other clinics there, and find out what were the possibilities for my problem. However, the absurd thing and i would say very disappointing is that meanwhile they were proposing me to go there in Istambul they also denounced me and started a legal action against me! Apparently they didn't like that i open few reports about my case in international forums were i expose my problem and of course i give my own opinion about the whole story. I want to specify that i never insulted the doctor, never talked about other things that didn't regard my case, always focused on my problem with the donor. And if you read this report you can clearly see it. And always document everything with pictures as im going to do also this time. Anyway clearly this contradiction left me confused. Why on one hand they want me to help me by proposing me a donor exchange and therefore implicitly for the first time after almost 2 years admitting not everything went perfectly about my surgery and on the other hand they want take me to court? I think is a very peculiar way of wanting to solve the problem? Is evident that after this move i definitely quit the idea to go go back to them. My situation at the moment is that with hair at a length of more or less 4 cm i can cover the gaps and this reassures me enough. Of course i cant go below that length otherwise the signs of overharvesting would start to appear. What to say? Honestely in the last year i had tried to leave this story behind, cause i was tired to spend time and energy on this, but unfortunately this bad move by the clinic forces me to dedicate more time, stress and energy that i already suffered for a long time and have to defend myself from unfounded and unrealistic accusations. But this is what they have decided to do, evidently they are very allergic to criticisms. I go ahead with my head held high!! I ll keep you up-to.date! Cheers!

Hello to everybody I have been missing for a while trying to forget this bad experience i had with Koray. I have accepted the defect i have in my donor and live up with it. I just let my hair at 5 cm more or less and i can cover the holes. But i wanted to show my situation after 20 months of my surgery, because although i live up with it I will never forgive the doctor. For me is such a poor job he did! Anyway they proposed me to go there and do a donor exchange. One day maybe i will do it, but not with them, dont trust them! Thanks to everybody, this will be my last pictures because for me i can consider close my experience, the pain is gone but disappointment will always be there. Bye!

Sorry Melvin, but how can you think that offering a smp is standing by the patient? I spent 17500 euros between two surgery, and with the second one they made a stupid and childish mistake, because the doctor think he is god and can extract as many grafts as he wants, they f** up my donor, and the solution is a smp??? Do you know how much money dr. Koray he is doing, do you know how rich this man is?and he can’t refund a person who had a problem not because he had a bad regrowth,but because the doctor went completely crazy and didn’t understand anything about what he was doing. Is simply a miserable attitude , a man without a minimum of heart and empathy. Apart the fact that in general every clinic should refund a patient that didn’t have a decent regrowth, for the simply reason that if a clinic has in general good results refunding a bad result wouldn’t be an economical problem and it would be ethically correct as the patient didn’t have what he paid for. In my case it should be a rule, you doctor mess up with my donor is your fault, next time pay more attention in your work and do it the right way. Smp?? Crazy and absurd really!

I can confirm that when i did the surgery there were other 7/8 patients the same day .I have never involved a lawyer ( it doesnt mean i will not do it in the future). They were the first who involved a lawyer when i told them that they ruin my donor and they made a medical malpractice. I can prove it because i have the mails, they cant and will never deny it because they know that they would lie if they say is not true. I would never start a battle in this forum or others, if they made things well and in an ethical way. They totally went wrong with me in every aspects. That s all i have to say!

Thanks melvin, i know i will have to keep hair at 3/4 cm to cover the overharvested part, but i will never be able to have hair under that measure. Tricopigmentation is not in my planes for the future. I hope that my report will be useful and helpful for people to be very careful about mistakes that can be done in a donor. I think that a good transplant is not only to have a decent regrowth but also to keep the donor safe without visible scars or voids. and Thanks Melvin for your wishes about italy, is a very sad moment for everybody, i too looking forward for that day and take care as well!

I'd like to spend two words in favor of Melvin. I read in some posts some controversy regarding some complaints about censorhip in this forum. I would like to testify to the total freedom that I had in exposing the facts of my operation, but not only, Melvin also gave me technical and human support. I can assure you that there are very few forums like this in the web. To make you an example in a famous Italian forum, my report lasted less than one week before disappearing completely and like mine many others. I value this forum a lot and the work of Melvin too that allows freedom to speak and to expose facts and I assure you that this is worth gold in this world!

Hello to everybody I would like to post some pictures about a comparison of my donor at 3 months and at 7 months. This pictures show that in reality little or no improvement had happened in my donor in the last months, confirming my theory of overharvesting. Clinic still minimize the problem. I will keep you updated with other pictures soon. Thanks for your support and fingers crossed for this bad period we are going through!!

Thanks Melvin, i hope too. Concerns are still there but it has improved. I will wait the 12 months and see what happened. I will continue to update it thanx!

hello to everybody, i update my pictures with hair at 1cm and finally with a better camera and natural light. Of course depending on the light the condition can look better or worse. Im quite satisfied with the receiver because there has been a regrowth, although i hope the crown will still improve more. As for the Donor im not satisfied. An assistant of dr Koray with whom i could meet personally told me that it will get better in the next months, and that if in 12-15 months it doesn't get better, with a tricopigmantation i would solve the problem. He told me that he wouldn't do a donor exchange cause it can be risky. I will give myself other 3 months to see if it get better and update my pictures, if no improvement appear, i would definetly think that donor has been overharvested. I would apreciate your advice and how you see my situation. Thanks

The clinic didn't offer me anything, they just said that everything is fine and that the donor has recovered. As for the crown im not worried about it i know it will take more time and is ok. I just put a picture to show it, and i have to be fair i had some regrowth and the clinic told me that the it would take more time. The problem is the donor in which i will have to do some kind of repair.

I totally agree with you, equally unacceptable is the attitude they are having with me. I sent the photos to show the conditions of my donor. The doctor did not even deign to answer me personally, as usual he delegated his consultant who with a message via whatsapp told me that it was all right and that it was all normal. Furthermore, as he had done previously, at the slightest hint of dissent he immediately made me understand that if I didn't like it I had to see it with their lawyer! I wonder what is this way of treating a patient who suffered a permanent damage, who paid a lot of money and who is treated like someone who disturbs, like a plague. Shameful!

Hello to everybody, im back here after 6 months of my surgery now. I would like to show you the state of my Donor. The clinic told me that everything is fine and that there is no overharvesting. For me is aboslutely the opposite. I have my hair at 6 cm , i can't go under 4/5 cm otherwise the voids would start to appear and that was confirmed also by the barber who immediately saw the problem i had behind. For me is unaccaptable, i would like to have some opinions from you. Thanks!

i'm glad for you you had a touch up, probably in your case it was possible, but you have to understand that in my case there's no touch up that can be done if my donor stay like this, because we are talking about a depleted donor. Where you are going to take the hairs to cover the empty areas? And as i told before is unlikely that my situation is due to shockloss, the problem is too many extraction for the capacity of my donor. I wish i was wrong, but the reality is this: im exactly in the same situation as day one post surgery, if i cut my hair just a little bit it would look like exactly as the first month.

Hello to everybody, This morning I wrote to the Italian consultant Alessio, to request the invoice of my operation, because as many of those who have been operated with Koray know, they do not issue invoices and are paid mostly in cash, the answer was so disapointing that i can't even describe it. He replied with an emoticon with a smile, then gave me an ironic joke out of place that had nothing to do with my request and then he said to contact their lawyer. How can this be serious? Im asking for an invoice that should be normal and obligatory to give and I receive this kind of answers? Im loosing faith not only in how it will be my donor but also in how the clinic will deal with this problem. Unreal everything!

Of course, he has the right to voice his opinion in regards of my case. But puting those pictures is like me intervening in a very good report of koray where everybody is saying how good is he and i post 7-8 pictures of my donor in that condition, i think it wouldn’t be right. Anyway i think that now that those posts were cancelled those pictures too should be, because they have nothing to do with what we are talking about, and it seems only a post of someone who wants to balance my negative pictures with some good ones, that’s my opinion, but of course you decide. J@JayLDD as the posts of that guy were deleted, now you can also delete all the pictures you put about a person who has nothing to do with my report, if you want you can open your own report and put those pictures. if you don’t remove them, then i would ask @Melvin-Moderator to do it.. I dont see the point to have pictures like that in my report, where im trying to expose a serious problem that i have and somebody is trying to change the focus of the conversation. Those pictures are off topic now that the posts of that guy were deleted.
