  1. For my surgery the extractions harvesting was done first rather than the slits. Next, all slits were made by the doctor. Lastly, the grafts were implanted by forceps. My thinking is then the technician who is performing the extractions doesn't have to worry about any oozing of blood from the slits and keeping it clean.
  2. Thanks for just joining and promoting their clinic. It would be nice to see some before & after pics and more information about your surgery.
  3. Because of your hair length, texture and its wavy it's very hard to tell especially from pics. If you really want to know if your experiencing even any minor loss in the crown would be to get a buzz cut.
  4. Looks great quite impressed and you still have 4months or so for it to mature even more. The hair style and length is a good look for you.
  5. Yes even for us Canadians it's $3/Graft. How does this compare to Eugenix prices?
  6. Yes looks super clean and dense great detailed write up as well. It looks like he didn't shave the recipient area? Would you kindly be able to say what the Baht Cost/Graft is? Thanks
  7. I would recommend just experiment with different hair products and see what works. I had no clue the differences between a Paste, Cream, Wax, Clay, Pomade. Then there's different sheen's for each product plus the hold factor too. I watched some YouTube videos to educate myself before buying the products. My hair is fine and I still get a lot of fly aways. I ended up going with Nioxin Thickening Spray pre-Styler before blow drying. Then after using American Crew Matte Clay as my styling product. Just try some different products and have fun with it and see what works for you.
  8. Another point to consider is who's extracting the grafts? A Doctor or a Tech doing the extractions like what happens in the majority of clinics. How skilled and experienced is that tech in doing the extractions. I know from my experience having my surgeries at H&W I had a very highly skilled tech but they extract from over the full donor. I'm assuming the clinics were talking about here that extract from only one side are being performed by the Doctor. Any one know of any clinics where a tech is performing extractions from only one side of the donor?
  9. You need to give that donor hair at the back a few months to recover before making any judgments how it will eventually look. Hopefully the extractions are spread out enough to give you even coverage of your donor and that's where the experience of your tech is important.
  10. Fut is the way to go if your expecting multiple surgeries in the future because your hair loss keeps progressing and to maximize your grafts. How many grafts was recommended in your consultation and your age are two important factors to consider that you didn't mention. As for your question you should be ok cutting your hair at a 3.5 guard and the Scar not being visible after your first surgery. If you require multiple surgeries in the future your donor will get further depleted and a 3.5 may not conceal the scar at that point.
