  1. I was curous what people's expierences have been during the 10-12 month post fue. Everyone is different so i understand there is no uniformed answer. I've read how at this many months this percentage will have grown in etc etc or people have growth post 12 months. I know for myself it feels like my growth has quieted down since the 9th month. But i've also found that without a haircut it's much harder to see the changes. Per
  2. Thank you everyone for the feedback. I really appreciate all the comments. I will post more photos that are clearer and outside in natural lighting.
  3. thanks for your view point. I actually thought he filled in what i had asked him to.
  4. Hi. It's been 9 months since i had my FUE with Dr. Gabel. This was my Second Fue. The First HT went well. But the hair on the right side never filled in as much as the left. So i went to Dr. Gabel to try to improve on the first HT. I've included photos from the day of surgery and the photos afte 9 months. thanks and any feedback would be deeply appreciated
  5. No. I did a horrible job with this post. So i apologize. I will post the 6 month photos now. I still need to get better at photos.

  8. Hi. I had my second procedure for with Dr. Gabel. I will write down my experience in another post. Here are some photos, apologize if there are too money. I'll start from First transplants results. Now i should add i was very happy with the first one. But it never grew in as fully as the right side. That is why had the second transplant Where the hair is difficult to be at all objective with. thanks after first transplant se seven weeks 1 d sex weens post fue missing some months so big jump to throughout the month of november This is after the end of six months. i took them when i woke up. 3 of them were under intense light in bathroom the others are in nice hair light. Any opinions would be wonderful. I find the second hair transplant more difficul mentally the then second one. I suppose more fear that it won't fil in more equally.
  9. Endless photos like a competition "look at my growth at 12 weeks" and i think just messes people up. If people knew that you should expect nothing until post 4 month - i think people's anxiety might be a little better. I know it would have helped me in the past month or so. I appreciate what you said. Thanks also for letting me know about pre-existing HT hair will make it difficult to see growth.
  10. Hello. I posted before about my second fue this time with Dr. Gabel. I am at 3.5 months and it seems like it's growing in quite well. But it's also hard to tell because you see photos on here and some people at 3 months have more hair than i've ever seen. Here are the photos from 3.5 months. All the other photos are under the title "Steven Gabel Post FUE 5 weeks" I went to see him because i was dissapionted with the first HT because the right side never grew in like the left. I would say it was quite a bit less. But in the last 2 weeks it seems like the right side has actually started to grow. Maybe i'm just seeing things or in a state of wishful thinking. But if it is true i am really excited. Spoke with Gabel last week and he told me i shouldn't see new hair until the 4th or 5th month. Maybe this is because it's a second HT for density it's difficult to see new "sprouting hair" i actually don't. But i defiantly see a huge difference in how my hair looks. I'm thinking it might be hard to see the new hairs because the grafts were placed mostly in between where the previous grafts were put. But i'm not expert. Anwyay. Here i am at 3.5 months. Any comments would be most welcome.
  11. I should say that the pictures aren't totally fair. The right side is still not as full as the left. It looks like it is in these photos. But it does seem like a big difference. And if that is the case. I will be incredibly grateful
  12. Hi. i'm back. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. It's super confusing. It's only been about 3.5 months and i emailed with Gabel last week and he said you really shouldn't see any new growth until the 4th or 5th month. But on this site it seems like some people have huge amounts of hair in 3 months. Mental state? That's been different the second time. I would say it's actually been harder because i'm already worried about the right side failing to grow again. I've had zero issues post surgery. I mean nothing. That has been pretty flawless. Gabel also is great about responding to emails. Usually the same day. At this point it's impossible for me to be disappointed since it's only been 3.5 months. But in the past few weeks it feels like the right side has actually filled in more than it had after the first HT. So in those moments i feel like i picked a brilliant surgeon and all i have to do is wait and trust him. But it's a moody experience. But "i think" after only 3.5 months the growth has been quite good. But there have been moments where i've looked in the mirror and thought "oh man this isn't working" But unlike the first surgeon he personally put the grafts in my scalp himself and not a tech. But i've found the second transplant very different in terms of how it grows. It's only been 3.5 months but it seems like all my original hair has grown back so it looks pretty much like it did after the first HT. But it actually does seem like i am having new growth on the previously failed right side. Especially within the last few weeks. But it's been strange in the sense that i don't see new hair sprouting. I would imagine that's because the new grafts are planted in between where the original HT was done. I will upload some photos from 3.5 months and i will be curious if you see a difference in general. There are moments where i feel like i picked a great great surgeon and i have nothing to worry about. But of course i have periods where i'm like "Man. It's going to happen again. It's not going to grow on that side" But like i said i do think the right side has increased growth since the last photos i posted. And if that is the case i can't tell you how happy i would be and would be more than thankful and grateful too Gabel. I haven't had 6 hair transplants so my knowledge is somewhat limited. But if i'm right that there has been new growth on the right side. I can only thing i'm on my way to something that would make me really happy. Especially since he put grafts in both sides and the middle. thanks
  13. I had a second fue for density 7 weeks ago. I think it's way to soon to have an idea how it will turn out. I did post some photos under " Steven Gabel - Post Fue 5 weeks" For some reason i had trouble signing in again so i created a different account under the name James Osterberg - Iggy Pop I will say it is confusing to know if the hair that is showing now is purely from the first transplant or some of it is from the recent one.
  14. Thank you. Appreciate it. It does become quite chaotic when it comes to vitamins and shampoo. If i can ask what shampoo did you use six weeks post fue?
  15. I wanted to post some photos. hopefully they will be organized. The first photos are after my first procedure which i was generally very happy with. So it was somewhat of a mood oriented battle as to whether to get a second one. i wasn't happy with how the right side came out compared to the left. And went to Dr. Gabel to have this filled in along with other areas he thought could be improved from the first surgery. Like i said i was happy with the first procedure in the sense nobody had a clue i had work done, i though the density was excellent except for the right side. Which i felt like maybe 50 percent less growth. when it comes to a second transplant i'm curious how it works in terms of the hairs you had implanted first. Do those grow back normally so basically everything you see is from the first transplant plus. But i can see a difference on the right side. Hair transplants are kind of a mystrey. So i just hope that the right side equals out to the left in the end. Then i would be happy. I'm currently on topical finasteride / minoxidil - gabel called into the pharmaacy vitamins, biotine, MSM, pumpkin seed, In terms of shampoo gabel didn't have a big belief that they made a difference. Though i had some GROW MD left over so i've been using that. People are free to laugh about grow md. Since ive yet to see anyting positive about it and it is promoted by someone who seems to have a personal interest. After first Fue so basically i was looking to get the right side filled in. After meeting with Gabel, we did a zoom for maybe 90 minutes, time was never as issue with him. Then when I first went to his office we spent at least an hour or so going over what he considered not great growth from the first HT. Plus he doesn't like using the robot. He was in the room with me for basically 100 percent of the time. All extractions were done by him alone. He put the grafts in himself as well. With some small help from the techs - but he was there the entire time to over see what they were doing. He had me come back the next two days. Spent probably an hour with me each time. He also used ...what is it called one of those hyperbaric oxygen machines. Which i used both days after the procedure. I'm still waiting to get the photos from his office. They must have taken at least 50 photos i'm guessing. This is 1 weeks post fue these are 3 weeks after Okay and finally i believe monday will be six weeks - as you can see the shedding has begun to place. Of course i am incredibly paranoid about the right side growing in since it didn't last time. But i think that was because two techs put all the grafts in and one of them, i'm guessing, did a better job. The previous surgeon I saw used the Robot and i was not nearly as involved in every possible aspect. Thank you everyone. And any comments good or bad are most welcome. I will continue to keep posting every couple weeks. I am still holding out on dying my hair since i liked what i was told by some of the senior members about waiting. I hate having grey hair.
  16. Hi. thanks for the replies. 1,700 grafts. I will get the pre pop picts asap. Why did i choose Dr. Gabel. Well. I spoke to some people on here about him. Then i spoke with Dr. Konior who recommended him along with two other surgeons. At the time i didn't know he was trained under him. Did some more research. Spoke to some people directly on here. My expierence was pretty much perfect. He did 99 percent of the work himself. Was in constant communication with me before and after the procedure. If i emailed him today i would here from him most likely tomorrow. The work he did was very clean and i've looked pretty normal since. At this point i can only speak about my expierence with him since i'm only 5 weeks out. But he was extremely enthusiastic, he constantly wanted to see how i was doing, he has some techs helping him out but like i said he did most of the work himself. Only time a tech was involved, he did most of the graft placement himself, but he did have a tech put in some grafts but he stood by her making sure she did exactly how he wanted. I'm not doing a great job promoting for him at the moment. But that's just cause i'm tired. But i also feel what matters most is the result. In terms of his work i can only go what i think and the people i've spoken on here about. That it's excellent. More than anything he seemed very concerned and passionate about wanting the results to be perfect. When i speak with him I will try to get the Photos from his office of pictures before and after the procedure. Personally, I thought it was a positive thing that he didn't ask or hope if i would write up some review.
  17. Has anyone heard of 500 grafts costing 12,000. That was the quote. It's my second transplant and i just need to fill in the right side. I don't know if it's because it's such a small amount and this surgeon is super busy and very respected on this site. Dr. Konior. I wanted to know if anyone had any thoughts on this.
  18. Hi. I've sent some photos into Dr. Konior and he's taking a look at them. I haven't had a chance to talk to him about his schedule. But from what i've read it's up to a year. How do people feel about Dr. Nadami. I've read nothing but great things on here. So i'm wondering if it's not a bad idea to maybe go with her. I don't know if she charges less than Dr. Konior I'm having a second transplant just to fill in the right side so it equals the left. For some reason they didn't come out equally. I'm sure they can add density to the both. Thanks, Doug
  19. How about with Dr. Nadami? Does she have as long as a wait?
  20. anyone have any idea how long it takes to get an appt with dr. konair at this point in time? I was told he's charging 13 bucks a graft now.
  21. Thanks for replying. I believe the areas i'm looking to improve up on are considered "temple" areas. Basically the right area in the front i would like to improve. I would imagine they would probably want to fill in the left as well to make sure it's even. What is it that makes the temples more difficult?
  22. does one go to their website and send them an email asking about ordering topical finasteride and wait to hear back? that was all i found at the website in terms of contact information or anything
