  1. I was wearing a baseball cap (loosely) around day 8. Grafts are nice and secure. No worries!
  2. Yes, I agree that it all looks as it should. Good distribution, maybe a little higher than most we see, but it looks to be good donor zone. Don't be alarmed about the red spots, they will heal very fast, within a couple weeks. Follow your clinic's instructions with lotions and sprays. Most people use saline spray every couple hours to help with scabs and healing process.
  3. Rapper gets gold chains surgically implanted into his head as ‘hair’ https://www.joe.co.uk/entertainment/rapper-gets-gold-chains-surgically-implanted-into-his-head-as-hair-288278
  4. Please do create your own thread. We need more patient cases from Mexican clinics. Thanks!
  5. I really like that hairline. I'm sure it'll come out great. They'll send you the photos they took of you soon. I recommend taking good photos every month, just as a journal for yourself. The journey is long but you'll be a new man by Spring!
  6. Wow, that's a lot of work on the temple peaks! The work looks nice and clean. Keep us updated with pics and happy growing!
  7. What clinic is this? Have you contacted them for feedback?
  8. Most of what I've seen is 2.5mg/day. I have 5mg and take it 3x/week. It's a capsule so I can't cut them in half.
  9. That's the right approach. Top doctors will give you the right advice. If you get a small procedure, they are the ones that will give you the best work. It would be smart to include Dr. Bisanga in Belgium (Reps: @Raphael84 and @sl) as well as Dr. De Freitas in Spain (Rep: @De Freitas Clinic) in your consultations. Best of luck!
  10. Certainly not a tattoo. SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) maybe, but it's probably not a good idea at the hairline. Personally, I don't see a big problem with a small transplant. Indeed, you would want to consider a very top level doctor. Being the front center of your hairline, if it is done poorly, it will look bad. I don't know much about him, but Dr. Saifi is in Poland and has a few patient results here. Maybe contact him for an consultation in person. https://transplantacja-wlosow.pl/
  11. Have you considered FUT (strip)? You would have to grow out your hair to cover the scar, but a good doctor can really minimize that. It may be your best option for maximum grafts from your scalp. There aren't many FUT doctors in Turkey. I know Bisanga and Mwamba in Belgium offer FUT. That might be your best option.
  12. I don't know much about that. It's not the preferred source because usually chest hair has a short growth cycle, they don't grow very long (just like leg/arm hair). But since you're researching, have a Skype call with Dr. Bicer. She'll be able to give you more info on that one case. I assume any clinic that can do BHT (body hair transplant) can do chest hair. Personally, I wouldn't use it unless it was combined with scalp hair. You know, just to add some density.
  13. As I understand it, beard hair is not suitable as the only source. Generally, someone will get 1500 grafts from the head and then maybe 500 from the beard. So beard hair is blended in with scalp hair. You might be able to use chest hair if you have it. Here's an example of Dr. Bicer using chest hair.
  14. I'm afraid your donor doesn't look very strong. Certainly not enough to give you minimal coverage at this stage in your hair loss. You might have a challenge getting a clinic to take the case. Are you on finasteride and minoxidil? That would be the first course of action, for at lest 1 year.
  15. Looks totally normal. Most people don't lose ALL their transplanted hair. I think I lost around 80% or so. Don't pull them out. Leave them be and enjoy them!
  16. This is going to be a great transformation! Sethi and Bansal from Eugenix are the talent you needed. I'll be watching this thread.
  17. I was able to book with HLC Ankara in 3 weeks. And I was able to book with Bisanga in 5 weeks. I was able to travel on short notice and asked for something quickly. In Europe, especially Turkey, there's a lot of cancellations.
  18. Think about it this way. Top doctors in Europe charge around €3-5/graft. 4000 grafts would cost €12k - €20k! Top clinics in the USA are double that. So when we see 1,600 including hotels, it raises a huge red flag. There are more affordable options, of course. Bicer and Demorsoy, for example, are around €1.5/graft. Once you get into the "all inclusive & unlimited grafts" packages, you're not working with doctors, but technicians instead. Be very careful at this level of clinic. You're in dangerous, high-risk territory... this is the level where most of the transplant failures come from. The last thing you want is to trade one set of hair problems for another. Do your research!
  19. Why are you getting a haircut 3 weeks post op?! Especially that short?
