  1. Hi everyone Age : 34 Hairfall : Norwood 2 - 3 ( i think 3 doc says 2) I have been observing the forum for a month now. My friend recently had a transplant in the usa and encouraged me to look at options for my hairloss. he also guided me to this website and im very happy to see people share and learn from each others experiences. I had read reviews about Eugenix Hair Sciences and reached out to Mr Abhinay Singh, who had also posted his HT journey here. He put me through to his team and i had shared my pics with them. The team then communicated to me its better to make the observations in person and evaluate my options. I got in touch with Mr Imran at Mumbai branch of Eugenix, and made an appointment since Dr Pradeep Sethi was available in Mumbai for the week. Initial consultation was done by Dr Shrilekha. She said HT is not required immediately and advised me to take Finestride and Minoxidil for a few months to preserve the natural hair. She also suggested if im still not satisfied with results on medication i can then go for a HT. We took some photos and waited sometime for Dr Pradeep Sethi to join us. He came in and patiently walked me though my current situation by placing a camera on my head and showed me where i can expect improvements if i take finestride and where i cannot. he also said if i wanted to do the HT then i would probably need between 1500-2000 grafts. But he also seconded Dr Shrilekha and said take finestride and get in touch in a few months and then we can evaluate options for HT if i wanted them. It was overall a pleasant experience at Eugenix. I also had met a couple of people who had already done HT with Eugenix and i was interacting with them while i was waiting for the doc. Their experiences were positive and i could visibly see the improvement on them and it was good. My concern right now is taking finestride and its possible side effects. I have read some of the negative experiences from few members on the forum and im still not sure if i want to take it. On the other hand the doctor assured me that only a small percentage of people will experience side effects and i need to give meds a fair chance before deciding to go for a HT. Should i take fin and evaluate after 3-4 months or should i go ahead with HT ? Looking forward to suggestions.
