  1. Hi everyone, after reading lots of reports, here I am finally writing one. After several types of research and some visits to other clinics, my decision fell on Dr. Kaan, which is why I contacted FIRST who was immediately very kind and ready to answer all my questions. Because of my job it was my need to do the operation with long hair and reassured by FIRST of the presence of a barber who had helped me "hide" the transplant I booked. Upon arrival in Ankara an assistant of Dr. Kaan was waiting for me at the airport exit and he accompanied me to an analysis laboratory (I didn't have the chance to do them in Italy, due to work) and there I met Saide, another assistant of the doctor, a very sweet person who assisted me until the last day for all my needs. After the blood test, I headed to the Sheraton (I was with my girlfriend who had some Marriot points to consume) if you have the chance go there because it's really wonderful and in front of the Salt Bae restaurant. The following day after a hearty breakfast, Saide greeted me in the lobby around 8:30 am and we went to the clinic together. There I met another Italian boy who after finishing the operation the previous day was there to remove the bandage and he also reassured me that he had a great experience. As soon as I met the doctor, I immediately understood that I was in good hands, he answered my various questions and, with his very kind manner, reassured me and we decided together the hairline. After the various ritual photos a barber was waiting for me at the entrance and as promised by Alex he cut my hair in the way the natives covered the receiving area and indeed once they realized that they were so long, with the doctor we decided to do the operation partially shaved in order to have a better result. the operation itself though was not at all painful, even the famous anesthesia was not painful at all, the only thing is that some positions were uncomfortable but nothing that could not be tolerated. The first day the doctor extracted and inserted about 900 grafts in two sessions interspersed with the lunch break (Fadma the cook is exceptional). Upon returning to the hotel, I felt a discomfort in the forehead area that faded after taking paracetamol. The second day was very similar to the first and the doctor finished the procedure at around 5 pm. After settling it all, Saide gave me some clinic gadgets and a USB stick with photos of the surgery. The doctor explained to me the post-operative procedure and with his usual tranquility, he mentioned that my operation was performed with an average of 2.8 hairs per graft, among the highest he ever performed. One thing that we discussed in precedence and then discussed again in the post-operative period is my impossibility to take finasteride because of a serious urological problem solved recently. The doctor reminded me of the importance of the drug, even though I have full knowledge of it, but in the meantime, it reassured me by mentioning that my Aga is fairly stable and I could start in the future when I get the chance. In the meantime, I will use Minoxidil 5% in a month for a few months (the doctor confirmed to me that given my situation I can eliminate it by scaling the dose after a while) and biotin-based supplement. Of course, everything will be monitored remotely with the help of FIRST and the doctor. The next day I returned to the clinic to remove the bandage and greet the team. Now I have to be patient and follow the given guidelines. Thank you all for the various written reports that helped me a lot to make this decision, soon I will send all the pictures 😊
