  1. I wouldnt be concerned about the cowlick here. Your whole head is kinda "thin". Its hard to tell but your cowlick looks 100% ok for now
  2. Here i am 5 months later. So the first month i had a mild testicular pain that lasted almost 2 weeks. It never returned and i m 100% fine, 100% no sides atleast that i can note. My libido i stronger than ever. So about results. I have no progression of hairloss which is great. I might have noticed some new hairs popping out too. But i think this is mostly because of the systemic absorption. I m almost 100% sure i have enough of this drug in my blood to be compared to 0.5mg daily oral dose. I was trying 2 times a day, 1 time but high dose etc etc. Because of its light molecular weight, it easily goes systemic. But then again, minoxidil is even lighter but doesnt go too much systemic. That means we either need to apply: high density solution (example from some study, they did 0.2ml of 0.25% fin which idk hhow was it possible to apply only 0.2 on scalp) or solution that contains 0.2mg of fin per 1 millilitre. We dont know if dose as low as 0.2 would do the work but one thing is for sure, at worst (in my opinion) you will absorb 0.1 which wont do much in blood. Thats how i think about it. I still keep on applying it daily (1mg of fin), and i will as long as i feel ok because its more of a psychological thing for me, i feel safer using topical. If you had sides on oral and cant do anything else to save your hair, i suggest doing really low topical fin concetrations like 0.2mg per 1ml (0.02% i think).
  3. If i wasnt aware of what can cause my brainfog in the past i would ve been so scared because i d think it was from fin now. I have issues with snoring and waking up multiple times during night which is causing brainfog for me. It all goes away once i rest enough
  4. if you are on oral fin, everything on top of that can be only beneficial. Yes, i compounded it myself with the same compounds rogaine uses, but without minoxidil. Its a typical formula for any topical that is based on PG and ethanol
  5. im on a home brew topical fin and i have 0 side effects. I did have ball ache for a week but it went away. It could ve been something else too. I m also micronedling too
  6. Dont buy this. If you really want to buy more than 2 years for your hair, you need to get on fin. It sucks to be exposed to such chemical but thats the only way. No bullshit. You can be on minoxidil or other stimulants but they wont stop hairloss. That will just make your hair look denser, yet you are still losing hair at the same rate.
  7. even buzzcuts have the 3D look which scalp tattoos dont. The youtuber Fouseytube did one too and it just didnt look natural. Different folks different strokes
  8. That is just not true. I think its more of a 50 50 chance. My mothers side is all full of hair yet 2 of my brothers are getting bald in their 30s. Regarding this guy. You def. have an androgenic alopecia, but its really early. That doesnt mean you will lose all of your hair in a year. you might lose it at your 20s, 30s or 50s who knows. but its something coming at you. I wouldnt recommend you go on anti androgens this early. Wouldnt recommend minoxidil either, but if your hairloss starts being really aggressive then thats probably the only option you have
  9. i have chronic middle night insomnia too bro. I wake up after 4 hrs every night, at the best 5.5hrs. It used to be a lot worse. How are you doing now?
  10. Also lad, you have lied about the existence of multiple studies about fin causing low T in long term use. There is literally one study which is not even done well yet there are plenty of 5year studies that prove my theory about the slight increase in T. There are many factors that can influence your T levels and 0.3mg of topical didnt cause that
  11. Many people did bloodwork before and after Fin, even after years, their T remained slightly elevated. Theres one crazy guy who does experiments on himself with steroids, anti androgens etc etc. He proved that his T levels increased, and in his case it negatively affected his hair because he is sensitive to T. His T increased by 20% after taking dutastiride for a year or so
  12. I have understood that i added too many zeros on the number as soon as i ve written the replay. So you applied 0.3mg on your scalp. You probably cant absorb systemically more than 5% of that dose unless you have open wounds on your scalp. Not to mention that unless you have a buzzcut, a lot of topical will be stuck in the hair and not touch the scalp. I have zero issues with a whole miligram but i m probably using a different solvent. You mentioned using a liposomal gel fin. I m using a classic Propylen glycol ethanol water solution. I know that minoxidil is not the same drug as fin but, minoxidil can be absorbed into blood through skin from 0.8 to 4%. And thats with a high ethanol concentration. You would need to absorb atleast 0.2mg into your blood to have a significant change in serum DHT...It just doesnt add up to me
  13. I m not trying to fight. I m challenging my and your knowledge about this topic. By doing that i m either improving my knowledge or yours. There is clearly something unclear with what you have mentioned about your T levels. Not to mention that you have 99% did the ECLIA to measure your levels if you let your doctor choose since the LC MS MS is more expensive and not easily obtainable methodology for measuring hormonal levels. One thing. If you took the topical dose of finasteride of 0.03%, that means your overall dose of this drug on your scalp was 0.0003mg. You have gained sides from topical application of 0.0003mg? Can you understand my skepticism ?
  14. Also there are 5 year trials where men who took finasteride at worst, had a T level of a placebo group. Even after 5 years, people still have elevated their T by a small amount. The "study" you have linked has deleted resources and its impossible to find the actual study. This study is not present on boston UNI website nor the other resource path
  15. I am sorry that i have been a little bit rough on you, thats my bad. But you came in here claiming this drug took 40% of your total test and how 0.03% topical solution got you a brainfog. Thats really a huge jump to the conclusion. I could bet my life that you didnt get sides from 0.03% topical solution, i m that convinced. BTW if you measured your hormone levels with ECLIA, then those numbers you posted dont mean anything
  16. Also one really important quesiton. Which methodology did you use for measuring your T and DHT levels? ECLIA?
  17. We are either having a huge miscommunication or you are a godlike troll. I m just debating your claims. You have claimed that a 0.03% caused a brainfog and sides for you. If that was true you would ve gotten castrated by topical dut.
  18. ah my bad, i thought you were saying i was saying finEsteride. Yes, thats usually how you write it on my language but you were right regardless. But thats not even the point. You still havent adressed the bullshit you ve mentioned about your T levels dropping that low because of this drug. You wouldnt do TRT if you didnt already have an underlying condition that causes your T to drop low Edit: you didnt prove me anythign with this piece of text. There is no info in here
  19. it says finastiride? you corrected for saying that ?
  20. LMFAO, its FINASTIRIDE. You are clearly a troll. Stop wasting peoples time here
  21. Ok first thing. Your T couldnt drop that drastically from the use of this drug. You clearly have an underlying condition or something that you didnt mention since you are on TRT. You are telling me that your T dropped ~40% because of the drug that blocks the conversion of T to DHT? Really weird. Second thing, brain fog side effect is somethign that builds up over time. Takes more than few months to develop. Saying that you got brainfog from topical 0.03% finastiride is like saying that you got brainfog from wiping your ass with the wrong hand Sorry but this just sounds too weird and unrealistic.
  22. also there is no way you could get sides with 0.05% and 0.03% TOPICAL finastiride. Even if you took that dose orally there is no way you could do anything with that dose. I m weirded out by your comments because i m not sure if you are trolling or just not aware of the dosages you had?
  23. Uh that really sketchy. I cant buy the story that you apply 10 miligrams of dutastiride and not get side effects. Also TEN MG lmao. Thats like 20mg of finastiride if we could even compare these 2. Finastirides molecular weight is lighter yes. I m glad that its working for you regardless. Mind sharing it in dms or here? I m just curious, i m currently on topical finastiride without sides.
  24. Dutastirides molecular weight is 529 g/mol. Everythign over 500 doesnt go well through scalp. I have doubts that this treatment can work. IF this medication managed to penetrate the scalp, it would decrease greatly DHT but as a result of that, T would raise massively. That being said, if you are sensitive to T also, you are even more screwed on DUT. These 2 pics have different lighting and hair size. It may look like he had results but it could be very missleading at the same time. I hope this worked out for him. Also he said his solution is 1%. Are you aware that 1% means 10mg of dutestiride per 1ml? That would be crazy and dangerous for someone who avoids oral tablets. I highly encourage you to share the product name with us since i think you ve gotten the numbers wrong.
  25. Try to avoid minoxidil as much as possible. Minoxidil should be your last resort to fighting hairloss. Shedding still happens with finastiride though. Many people have reported it. At the 1 month mark i actually got a decent shedding. But that just tells me that it might be working. I will need few more months to be sure that this is working. I have done a lot of research about topical finastiride and most of the studies done on it were really badly done. The one that gave me hope is the one with minoxidil where fin+minoxidil topical did more than minoxidil alone. The other topical fin studies didnt have enough info and were really confusing. They used 0.1ml and 0,2ml dosages od 0.25% topical fin which is impossible to apply to scalp so thats really weird. The thing that matters is the density of the topical in my opinion. Currently i m on 1 mg in 1ml of solution. I m doing this for 5 more months and then i will come to a conclusion if it worked or not. But i really did notice shed reduction, it was very noticeable in the second week. Will this work in the long run i dont know but it is promising. the problem is the nobody knows how systemic DHT affects scalp while on topical. If you dont care about systemic absorption then go for the 2.5mg of fin per 1ml - 0.25% solution. Topical minoxidil gets absorbed systemically from 0.8% to 4%. So even though it doenst mean this is the case with finastiride, i still count the dose that even if i get the 4% in blood, its not higher than 0.1mg. Everything below 0.2mg of fin is not going to affect systemically DHT significantly
