  1. Finally got my graft count (it's actually 2,041 grafts) Singles: 314 Doubles: 1,008 Triples: 587 Quads: 132 Total Grafts: 2,041 Total Hairs: 4,619
  2. I went to Dr. Diep, seems to gets good results (I'm only one month post op, so no personal experience). However, my donor feels a bit more abused than others I have seen. Wasn't a bad process overall though. Canada is pretty close, why don't you also check out Hasson and Wong? I chose Dr Diep for his hairline skills and familiarity with Asian hair. However, if I ever need another, I'm checking into H&W for the area behind hairline
  3. Month 1 - back and sides. Some shock loss in the back created bald spots. Not sure if it is my imagination, but I have a lot more white hairs on the harvested side now lol.
  4. Month 1 - a good amount of hair has shed, this began in week 2 and now looks like this on top at month 1.
  5. Texted Dr. Diep the photos, he thinks it is just shock loss.
  6. Yeah, I'm hoping so. It's sort of the spot where I was sleeping on with the airplane pillow they gave for the first few days. It's also pretty itchy. Your donor area is looking great!
  7. @Melvin-Moderator The bald spot is right at the border of the donor area (moreso on the donor side). Do you think it could be alopecia areata or just normal shock loss? My donor area in general is looking pretty rough. Attached is a close up and slightly more zoomed out picture of the back of my head.
  8. It's still a bit short so looks goofy. yeah I plan to grow out everything a lot more. Hopefully that helps.
  9. Went totally normal. I'll let you know how it works out in 8 months lol.
  10. There's a guy on YouTube who did daily vlogs and he escaped the shed. Life of Steve
  11. The last picture is amazing. You probably look 10 years younger! I'm also impressed with your donor area immediately post op and on day 5. I only had about 2k grafts and it looks way more harvested than your total.
  12. Looks pretty dense and actually looks a bit longer than in your original picture. I saw one guy on Youtube that never shed, hopefully you will be that lucky person who doesn't have to go through ugly duckling.
  13. Here's how I am hiding it right now at the office (everyone already knows...it's more so for clients and just not looking too weird).
  14. Day 21 - density not looking so hot. A lot seems to have shed so far.
  15. It started a couple of days ago and it itches. It is like right on the border of where my grafts ended, so not sure what is going on... I am pretty sure it is related to the procedure somehow though...
  16. Day 19 - rear of head. Have some itchiness and bald spot on the bottom left.
  17. LOL - first thing that happened when I walked in the office was someone commenting loudly on my "new hairstyle." Someone asked if I was going for the kpop boy band look....LOL - I ended having to directly tell most folks by the end of the first week. I felt insecure during client/prospect meetings as well. Reactions weren't that bad (at least to my face).
  18. I wanted Dr. Diep for the hairline, but if I have to do another FUE procedure to fill in behind, I may go with someone who uses a smaller punch.
  19. This happened on the 8th day. I saw the graft itself come out...looked like a root or something lol and then blood started gushing. It was one of those frontal singles that he uses to zig zag with. I'm not too bummed over the loss as it was kind of just hanging out there in its own island in the front.
  20. It took me 5 months to get an appointment and I went in for a full 2k graft FUE. So, I think they are just slammed.
  21. There was one single in the front with a stubborn crust, I think I rubbed it too hard and the crust stuck to my finger and created too much friction and pulled the graft out.
  22. Going back to work tomorrow and the redness is still there. Left the top long, so I can do some weird comb forward thing to cover it up, however I think I am going to have to just be open about it.
