  1. Davy Klaasen has great growth so far, but I don't like the shape oft the hairline. He claimed, he chose a dutch clinic and payed 2 EUR/ graft.
  2. Davy Klaassen went for a transplant. He was already NW4-5 at the age of 25. I'm curious to see how this turns out.
  3. The height of the hairline is just right, not aggressive at all. If the growth rate is reasonably good, it will look much better than before.
  4. I like Bisanga's work, but 7 Euros / Graft is too much in my eyes. As already mentioned, there are other very good doctors who are much cheaper. In addition, one should not forget that the cost of living and accordingly the wages in Belgium, Germany or France are much lower than in the U.S., the price is equivalent to 10 or 11 Euros in the U.S. Of course, it is Bisanga's right to set the price so high.
  5. I would only do it as a high NW and then get the maximum out of it (4.000-6.000 Grafts). This is just my opinion, in smaller cases I would not take the risk of FUT.
  6. Your hair looks great and your are way too young. No one can say if you will tolerate finasteride for the next 30 years. If not, you would have a big problem with the planned aggressive hairline. FUT is also the wrong method, in my opinion it is only worth it for a large graft amount.
  7. My surgeon told me to apply panthenol foam (alcohol free) and wear a shower cap for 30 minutes. This softens the scabs a lot and you can gently rub from the back to the front. Never force it.
  8. If I were you, I would never go the risky FUT way again. You are 35, not a high Norwood and your donor looks great. 300 seems like a good trade-off. As mentioned before, you could also go for BHT, but I don't think that is necessary.
  9. I had the same problems after both of my two FUEs. Balding Boggers reply is basically the same as I was told by my surgeon. It started after a few days and after 2 weeks it was gone.
  10. Repair procedures are more complicated than a normal hair transplant. I would choose a doctor who is familiar with this kind of surgery. Names have already been mentioned.
  11. I would roughly estimate, that you need 3.000 grafts. I am not familiar with the prices in the US, so I don't know how much you could save. HLC and Pekiner are among the best FUE-Clinics in the world. Check out their results in this forum. Of course there is never guarantee for a succesful transplant.
  12. Since there are hundreds of clinics in turkey, but only a handful of good ones with higher cost, most people go for the super cheap hair transplant. You can find hairmills that charge 2.000 Euros for 3.000 Grafts including accomodation and airport transport. If you speak turkish, you can find even cheaper ones. Not recommended at all!
  13. Awesome result! You have better hair then 99 % of men over 40.
  14. I agree. With this grade of balding at this young age, I would not recommend the hair transplant route. It would be super expensive and unsure, if the available amount of grafts is sufficient for the whole head.
  15. For me, your donor does not look that bad, 6.000 Grafts should be possible. Your requirements are pretty complicated. 5.000-6.000 grafts in one surgery for 10k leaves ony a few clinics. If you go FUE, most clinics do not offer more than 3.000-4.000 donorgrafts at once. Eugenix should be an option. For FUT i don't know a clinic that will fit in your budget. I would probably go with HLC and mix in 1.000 beard grafts, if possible. ~4.000 Grafts should be a huge improvement and you could then plan surgery for the crown without pressure.
  16. There are lots of cases on the german Alopezie-Forum, however only few current ones. He is expensive, but worth the money.
  17. In my opinion a hair transplant would be crazy with your status. On the pictures from March 28 your hair looks awesome. Just stop using hair gel and re-evaluate in 5 years. If you get a transplant it will be recognizable in your donor area with the fade haircut. You have a high contrast between hair and skin color.
  18. @folically challenged I don't have any videos, sorry. I was too afraid of sides, so I never tried fin.
  19. More current pics and two pics of the donor one year after the first surgery, before the second surgery
  20. The posts in this forum and on german Alopezie-Forum have helped me a lot to inform myself about hair transplants, so I would like to give something back with my report. It is the final result of my surgery in 2019, the numerous aborted reports have annoyed me a lot during my research Meanwhile I have the second part of my treatment (top of the head and crown) behind me, the report will follow in about a year. About me: 37 years old no medication very fine hair loss partly diffuse family history: all men NW5, but no NW6-7 up to the age of 75 estimated grafts needed: 4.500 estimated donor approx. 6.000 grafts + 1.500 beard So all in all not the best prerequisites. I still decided to take the risk of a hair transplant because baldness looks extremely unflattering on my large head with very light skin. Germany has not been a good choice for hair transplantations for several reasons. It is more a less a consensus on german forums to got to Belgium, Turkey or Switzerland. I originally wanted to have the surgery done by Dr. Feriduni, but the price for the complete treatment would have been in the 20,000 € range, so I looked for alternatives. I came across Dr. Ayoub through Alopezie-Forum, he started his own clinic in 2018 or 2019. The fact that he worked for Feriduni for a short time also played a role for considerung him. The available pictures of his work looked very natural and clean and in conversation he seemed very relaxed and had answers to my numerous detailed questions. Dr Ayoubs clinic is located in Duesseldorf-Ratingen. It is close to Cologne and the Airport Duesseldorf. Surgery: Just a few quick bullet points: 2,000 grafts 0,8mm Trumpet Punch Motorized harvesting with Trivellini Mamba (according to Dr. Ayoub he always preferred manual extraction, but this system is at least equivalent) Extraction: 100% Dr. Ayoub Slits: 100% Dr. Ayoub Insertion (Implanter Pen): about 50% Dr. Ayoub (now he does more like 30% himself) Aftercare: Dr. Ayoub did a very clean job, there was no sign of the surgery on my donor after 2 weeks. This seems to be normal with him, as you can see from the other reports at Alopezie-Forum. I had minimal shockloss over one ear, but it went away quickly. I had problems with the nerve healing in the donor, that gave me some painful nights about 5-10 days post surgery. It seems to be a rare hypersensitivity, I read a statement about it by BHR Clinic. The growth of new hair started after about 4 months and by month 6-7 I was close to the final result. My hair grows quite fast in general, maybe that plays a role. Conclusion: Considering my poor prerequisites, the result exceeded my expectations. The hairline looks very natural, even my hairdresser wanted the address of the clinic for her clients. Her son went to a hairmill in Turkey and it looks very artificial. Nevertheless, you should be aware that HT is always an illusion, for example, it would not look 100% dense if I styled the hair with a lot of gel. The approach is very conservative. I would have liked it even better if the hairline was set a centimeter lower and the temple points were re-formed. However, I decided against it to keep more grafts as a reserve in the long run. In general, it's a nice feeling that I don't have to think about how my hair lies at all. I have also been told by several people that I look younger and healthier. I highly recommend Dr. Ayoub. The 2019 price was so cheap that I was almost embarrassed (1 € / Graft) However, it is now higher and more reasonable, about 1.40-1.50 € / graft. This is still very cheap, considering that he only treats 2 patients per week. A few compromises must be made for the price, the Dr also does many administrative tasks alone, accordingly, not everything is top organized. The practice is clean, but not nearly as nice as Feriduni's for example. I don't really care, what counts for me is the growth rate, naturalness and the gentle treatment of the donor, and I am absolutely satisfied.
  21. Here is an german interview with Dr. Villnow talking about his customers like Klopp, Shaqiri and other german speaking athletes. https://www.t-online.de/sport/fussball/id_88865334/juergen-klopps-chirurg-ueber-haar-op-danach-stand-das-telefon-nicht-mehr-still-.html
  22. I always thought Antonio Conte is wearing a wig, wow! Shaqiris surgeon, like Klopp and Höwedes, was Dr Villnow. He does almost all the celebrity hair transplants in Germany. He is pretty expensive, does only FUT and there are a lot of subpar results. I would not reccomend choosing him.
  23. Germany is really not a good choice for Hair transplantations. The quality doctors we have work in other countries (Feriduni, Heitmann). The german clinics have mostly bad surgeons or they offer a big variety of surgeries and for hair transplantations they just fly in a random team from turkey. The only recommendable Dr. from Germany is Dr. Ayoub in Duesseldorf (Focus Hairtrans). His results on german Alopezie Forum are pretty good.
  24. For me Feriduni is a great choice he is a master of repairs and hairlines in general. I don't think bodyhair is a necessity for this part. Once this is done, you can plan a second surgery. If bodyhair is required, you need a different surgeon, like you mentioned Bisanga, Mwamba.
  25. Your donor looks above average, but there is no guarantee, that you can go for the fade afterwards. As Melvin said, you need about 6000 grafts. 2500 grafts will only cover a small area. Expect am semi circle with a length of 3 to 4 centimeters. The hairline has to be the densest part, so for the first centimeter with a density of 50 grafts, there will already around 1000 grafts be needed. Be aware, that you would be more or less committed to a second hair transplant, it will look super strange, if you have hair in the front and a huge crown, which will probably get bigger.
