  1. Thanks Zoomster, that was an interesting video. I hope it'll grow back, although I think it also mentioned getting about 80% fullness though right? @Egy what do you think about @Zoomster's video?
  2. Edit: I see your progress thread now. Thanks for that, I'm going to look through it. Really sucks for guys like us
  3. I had an FUE procedure done with a reputable doctor in the USA about a year ago. The first 7ish months were fantastic as my hair looked full and grew in well. However, over the last 3-4 months, it's has been falling out like crazy. Anytime I run my fingers through my hair in the shower I get tons of strands on my hand. My hair still looks way better than pre-transplant, but this is worrying me. How do I know if this is my genetic hair loss versus transplanted hairs falling out? Has this happened to anyone else?
  4. Progress looks amazing! I'm also interested in the front hairline whenever you have time to post it. How does the scar look so far?
  5. Hey Regs, any update on your progress so far?
  6. He is still doing transplants -- I had a consult with him before.
  7. If you were having the procedure now, would you still opt for FUT or choose FUE instead?
  8. Amazing progress. Seems like every single graft is healthy
  9. Hey Merlin, how's the progress coming along?
  10. Is that 6 months of no lifting at all? My doc said I can be back in the gym after 3 weeks with light weights but that I had to be careful for 8 weeks.
  11. Thanks Dr. Bloxham! I'm an avid gym goer so it would be awesome to know what kinds of exercises to do. I think other people would benefit greatly as well.
  12. What kind of workouts can we do after having FUT? I know the general consensus is to avoid heavy weights for about 1-2 months, but what about before then? What specific exercises can we do to stay in shape? For example: definitely not bench presses, but what about barbell curls?
  13. I'm the same age! 28 as well. Interesting, we both were advised not to work on the crown. Were you told to wait and observe the crown because of your age? What did Konior say on it?
  14. Thanks Recession. Mine would be 3000+ for crown + hairline or 2000ish for just hairline. Dr. Nadimi suggested focusing on the hairline instead of the crown and uses only 1,500 grafts. She seems to be the most conservative of the doctors so far and was also the only doctor to speak to me without a rep. I'm just worried that 1500 grafts will leave me disappointed and wanting another procedure rather quickly after that one.
  15. Hey Melvin, I consulted with both but they were reps. Dr. Konior was my first choice but his waitlist is too far out for me unfortunately
  16. Hey guys, I'm currently in the decision stages for my first FUT. I'm trying to decide on these two clinics. Advantages of Cooley Excellent strip scar Great results Is there every step of the way (extraction, incision, etc). Techs have been working with him for over a decade Advantages of Hasson and Wong: Tons of great results from previous patients (more than Cooley) Well known innovators Do both FUT and FUE and have no preference between either Who do you guys recommend?
  17. Hi elicochin, why did you choose FUE instead of FUT? Are you trying to maintain your current buzz style?
  18. Ah, I didn't realize that -- good point. I'm 29 so I have more hair loss to look forward to (even with medication)
  19. Thank you! It's refreshing to see positive results after so many years
  20. Hi, I'm not sure how many HT users there are after such a long time, but I had some questions into the long term implications of an HT. My questions: Are you happy with the transplant after all these years? Are you comfortable with the scar? With the current options, would you have started with FUE or FUT/FUSS? Has your hair continued to recede? If so, are you doing anything to combat it (another HT, medication, etc)? Are you still on medication (propecia, minox, etc)? Thank you
  21. Thanks for the detailed write up @RecessionProof! Did you happen research much on Dr. Nadimi? I'm considering her for a potential session since her schedule is more available than Konior
