  1. Thanks Petro Here are some pics taken this morning right after applying morning minoxidil dose ( it gets sticky ) 3 months 4 days today Aerial shots are the worst for a NW5 A case like me lots of crown to cover
  2. Good luck, the redness as you should know by now ( since you've been through a previous FUE procedure ) will not completely go away until 4/5 month mark in most cases. If you are really lucky, might be 3rd month but yes, July is coming up in 2 weeks and your redness will be there IMO
  3. I think 3740 is a good number of grafts ( decent enough) to give you good coverage, density and thickness after 1 years or so ( given most grafts survive ) . a clean job as it seems like from those pictures. was this DHI or regular FUE procedure ?
  4. I know 24 year old personally ( pretty young almost close to your age) and his life, mental stability, confidence, depression ... more importantly personality and looks.... totally changed for GOOD. One thing veterans dont mention, the quality of result in a young patient is top notch ( majority of cases) , so that guys result is beyond some 40 year olds dreams. He says its a life saving decision he made, went for it Remember : 100 brains, 100 different thoughts - you will have to decide.
  5. I understand this completely ( not many others would understand and will scare you more than boosting your moral to go for it ) those horrible stories of young ones needing another HT soon, worrying about your hair loss pattern and finite donor etc etc are just A few bad cases. I said what i said above after in depth understanding of age, depression, science, results, future, pros/cons and most importantly present
  6. To add: Majority of folks say HT , donor, future balding pattern, save for future, don't do it. you are too young etc etc. My perspective is different ( for cases like yours where frontal hair line is really required for youthful 20s man unlike some other folks who just complaint about little thinning in 20s but actually are not potential HT patients ) I think we should care about present and near future ONLY ( next 1-5 years at the most ) why " today " is also called " present" because its a "gift" from god Enjoy today, worry about tomorrow but worry less.......
  7. Although I agree with most of your points directed for Lebaneseguy but I slightly disagree with this specific point based on his life story ( after reading with some emotions, I totally feel what he is going through ) He cares about his hair now at 20s, its less likely when ppl age they do tend to care about about their appearance in 40s. this includes hair. a 40 year old can afford a bald patch in the crown but a 20 year old simply cannot with all that golden age factor living life to the fullest, university days.... there is no point thinking about tomorrow when today is messed up. "Life is truly short, and you never know when its over" is not only a saying but a HARD FACT OF LIFE THAT NONE OF US ARE IMMORTAL . Yes i am not saying there is no point planning for the near/far future and everyone should always plan something for long term in life. BUT WHEN YOUR PRESENT IS NOT HAPPY and YOU KEEP ON LIVING LIKE THAT for YEARS thinking one day you will make yourself happy in future. this is not a good way to deal with stress in life If this is stressing this guy, being in his 20s and if full thick frontal hairline gives him back his lost confidence for next 5/10/ 20 years even ( if he maintains a healthy lifestyle, medications ) trust me, i think he should go for it. My advice to lebanese guy : wait until 21 - ( many reputed clinics would agree to help you out but min. age they request is 21 ) start some or all of these meds after you evaluate these ( do some deep research ) - Finastride, Minoxidil and Biotin Make sure to quit smoking if you smoke cigg, avoid weed to the max if possible and work out is a must to keep blood flowing to all body parts eat less sugar/salt , and have high protein rich diet Find the best doctor, in your budget, discuss all options based on your case and go for it After few months, i am sure you will get great results as younger patients always have solid hair caliber and thick donor plus the right age/blood circulation that is required to achieve solid results.good luck at the end of the day, you are the architect of your own life. you have to compare priorities, future planning, pros and cons. EVALUATE it all and if a solid thick head of hair is of utmost important at this stage of life as per your soul searching, trust me there is nothing wrong in it. go for it. there is always enough for tomorrow if 2nd HT is required 10/20 years down the line. Take care
  8. For best results, you have to always work slightly harder and make an attempt to shower/ wash/shampoo quickly to make sure scalp is all clean and dry before applying minox each night. I know its hard on those night outs/bar events but think like this.... you get home after being tired, you brush your teeth so why ignore the hair which will only take 5 mins maximum. It requires effort but we all should try to invest into this. If you apply minox on hair with product/gel on it, most of minox will just stick with the product on the top most layer and will be hard to penetrate deeper into the scalp. It should provide some impact but real impact is only when there is no product at all.
  9. thanks Lennney for sharing that thread with Petro . It should provide him with some positive hope as it relates to his situation currently
  10. You have really good quality strong caliber hair and lots of them You can't go wrong with either- it's "Cinik " by the way, most would understand but still there could be another doctor with Cinic and it could create confusion. are you a member of Facebook group called Hair loss crusaders . If not, join there. Its all anonymous but community there represents Cinik and smile - these 2 turkey based clinics. Dr Demisroy as I heard is more expensive.
  11. Hair started sprouting at 4 months, wait until 6 month period. between 4 to 6 month timeline is when wonders happen
  12. Donor post 4.5 months looks really good. Good hair cut indeed. Small punches that Dr Bhatti used also seems to make a good difference here. Totally undetectable. May be under sunlight, there could be some visibility inside the donor if you have tried to take a pic like that to compare as sunlight exposes donor area a lot more after FUE especially during first 3 months when hair is short. but yours look very clean Lennney I am hoping for the same after 4.5 months.......
  13. After FUE, patients can wear only 2 hair styles on the donor side. 1. 3/4 inches minimum length so they cover up/overlap each other and cover those minor patches that are visible especially under sunlight. If one hair is 4 inches longer, it tends to cover the hair next to it in descending order. 2. Buzz cut - it wont be detectable to average person, only those who are either HT patients themselves or those who notice very closely. Its all in the mind of patients as they think its scars ( those white dots) but its normal and undetectable totally in regular life. no one cares to both too much and it looks fine in most patients post 1 year of HT ( 90%) this is the sole main reason - No scars that made FUE overtake FUT market. I
  14. Yes, its like a give and take scenario. It will ruin the scalp more, extra dryness, itchiness, redness but it gets the main job done which is circulation blood in those capillaries Foam does the same but you have a apply little more than half a cup ( as half cup recommended dose simply doesn't penetrate deeper )
  15. Then you should send pics to get estimate on # of grafts required for your case. Both could evaluate your requirements, will quote you accordingly and will help you make a decision I dont think you can go wrong with either. good luck
  16. LA is very expensive but if you don't mind spending extra $ , go for it D Diep sounds like a better options, less expensive and will probably give you same or better result
  17. Foam - 60 % effective Liquid - 90% effective as per real patients ( in my close knit circle )
  18. same thoughts here. Its been said the liquid contains alcohol ( due to which it is able to penetrate deeper into the scalp ) but due to a few minor issues/complaints from patients such as : dryness, itchiness, redness etc...... rogaine decided to introduce a new evolutionary product as " rogaine foam " . its just a recent launch in the market, its not that old ....... however, my friend has used both- foam for 6 months, now on liquid for next 6 months - he said liquid seems to be solid when it comes to experiencing a concrete difference. Foam is just there catering to those patients who can't deal with minor dryness
  19. I honestly think this patient should've been told that he is one of the luckiest ones.... and should be modelling for hair products. He never should've gone for a HT for such a minor change, i mean its not even detectable if you ask me Before/After should be renamed as same/same lol unless there are clearer pics posted to see deeper comparison
  20. Great result especially your 3 month stage ( which got you/most of us get worried ) vs 9 month where results are seen. Very good job ! good luck with the crown as its the hardest area to achieve good results.
  21. " where do I go " is always in every potential HT patient's mind. I posted my journey with some key points that we should consider before deciding with a clinic . You can have a read as those are general statements/guidelines that most should follow while selecting a doctor. Also, keep in mind - don't waste too much time trying to find the perfect clinic/doctor. There is none in this world. If price, results, commute, skill - everything is decent, go for it. good luck
  22. Yes, its the hardest part to decide who to go with . My advice : Look for the least negative points ( dont look for perfection here) all clinics/doctors in this world have had glowing reviews, good ones, average and horrible reviews. Look for a doctor who got less # of issues. If Doctor A has 10 major issues ( from your perspective ) and Doctor B has 6 major issues.... choose Dr B. Issues will always be there - where its price, results, travel, skills, yield, donor, recipient healing etc etc. Go with your gut but yes, get the deed done as afterwards, it will stop bothering you and that is most important
