  1. and yes chain smoking ( extreme cases) i heard will result in thinning blood pipes towards the brain and it makes hair so thin again.... i think each and every HT patient should do themselves a favor ( myself included ) and quit smoking forever.
  2. Hey , good luck for you upcoming surgery with Dr Bhatti have you booked him directly or via Shera ( his client rep) as Shera was really helpful in all my bookings, process, visa etc..... there is a motel that gives you good discount as 35% of their customer base is clinics patients.... chat with Shera , highly recommend
  3. Thank you LeftHook . I appreciate the kind words and positive outlook from your side as well This really clarifies for me - DHI vs FUE vs DHT which was always a grey area, I am sure you've made a conscious decision to go with Eugenix DHT procedure. They seem to be producing some remarkable results as well I wish you all the best. Please share your journey as well; its everyone's thread here that we learn something more and more reg HT science, experiences and results.
  4. # 4 scalp issues with some patients #5 no diet, too much drugs, alcohol, no supplements, no care, wash, shampoo, oil massaging etc... nothing at all will make it fail eventually #6 grafts inserted manually too deep or too high above the surface, which are unable to connect to nerves inside our head from where they take blood supply to initiate their birth and growth eventually #7 extreme baldness, less donor supply - no point getting HT as it will almost look like a failure at the end of the day
  5. Great video Melvin, I would also request if you want to post the same in writing as #1 , #2 and #3 so others could benefit from it, easily readable and also ppl could add more points here....
  6. I would say from an aerial view, most men's post HT eventually looks something like this. if you are tall/decent height, its very hard to see this unless direct sunlight or when you are sitting with lights above you. still, if you need to fix this - minor touchup with 1000 grafts should suffice but with a very experienced surgeon or hair fibers/ dermmatch for life could hide this easily or try PRP and lots of coconut oil massaging, it should rejuvenate some folicles to fill these areas or just grow your hair longer so they could easily cover these areas ( depends on your hair style ) but sides should be very short and center should be very long for you to easily create that illusion..... overall, you seem to have good thick hair caliber so its an easy fix for you in my opinion good luck
  7. one piece i am not sure completely where it says : you can have as many hairs as required ? so anyone with grade 7 baldness or higher can have a full head of hair like hes in his 20s
  8. wow, this is incredible news there must be some finer areas or is it tested 100% to work yet ?
  9. yes and no, its complicated and will take science some deeper research and years before we get some concrete answers
  10. I've tried all these methods, trust me whenever you really need to go out ( work, meet ups, socialize ) only then go out, otherwise stay private for first few months (as this ugly phase bothers most of us ) Now, when you do go out - wear a baseball or other styles of caps or hats. Its summer time and also prevents strong sunlight exposure for your sensitive post HT scalp. rarely after 2-3 months post HT, use dermmatch and sprinkle some fiber ( only for those occasions where you can't wear a cap ) but wash it right after, dont let it sit there for long time but #1 thing to keep in mind - stay at home, stay private for first few months as much as possible , watch netflix, exercise, eat healthy, music, lots of do lol #2 wear a cap - sorry, there is no better solution than a cap....... I TRIED EVERYTHING BUT THAT WEIRD REDNESS could be only covered by wearing a cap. PERIOD
  11. I would highly recommend not to go for it. No buzz cut for first 6 months post FUE HT is what some reputed doctors also recommend to their patients. your scalp, skin, donor , recipient areas, new hair grafts - everything is so sensitive including pores inside the scalp. yes, its true that grafts are solidified after first few weeks - 2-3 weeks for sure but they are still very delicate and it takes time to thicken them...... let natural air do its own thing, avoid harsh massaging, buzz cut until 6 months. for your inteview, wear a professional cap ( small size) . Men look sharp with professional attire with those caps. \ or throw some dermmatch and toppik combination if you cant wear a cap. but make sure to wash it right after your interview good luck
  12. I would also recommend you to stay the course. Also, I strongly feel that you initiating rogaine, continued using it religiously and all of a sudden stopped has something to do with the shedding cycle ( some contribution could be there ) let us know what your dermatologist says, could be a scalp skin related issue
  13. where is that report which says : 87 % of finastride users notice zero side effects ( any of the above stated ) and only 13% feels some side effects as noted above. this is important case study that also should be highlighted
  14. Good suggestion, you can start PRP/minox/Finas just a few days or weeks after HT but for microneedling, its better to wait for at least 6-8 months post HT.
  15. No doubt, 6'5" would really benefit you I would also recommend getting 1 or 2 PRP injections to boost your HT results. also, strict diet with tons of nutrients, dry fruits, super foods to keep the blood flowing, working out are all necessary steps to ensure a successful result. I think overall, you are on a strong regimen you're following, we just need to be consistent and patient for 1 year
  16. I would recommend FUE for many good known reasons, I would never sign up with FUT in 2019/20 . 2010, may be FUT was good as the only option but not anymore.
  17. You should have solid results ( saying just by looking at your native hair caliber ) This type of thick hair caliber in addition to # of doubles/trips ( if one is lucky enough to have a lot ) should provide good density in the end. Have you had crown HT too or only the frontal section ? good luck and yes stay the course
  18. Hey Paddy... I think Lennney wants to celebrate his 6 month milestone with a nice rewarding hair cut, "6 month" is significant from one's timeline perspective and one should cherish it the most let's wait for some good shots
  19. yes, it seems like, depends on speed of balding... but crown is expanding as its evident from your pics. check your blood line if male pattern baldness is in your DNA check your father/grandfathers hairline and its pattern over the years. chances are that you will follow their footsteps. how old are you ? are you on minoxidil and/or finastride ? do you have older pictures where crown was in a better shape ? I would call this a start of diffuse thinning phase ( not balding ) and if you strengthen your hair follicles, hair shaft and thicken them by some drugs/supplement/special precautions..... you can manage it from spreading further over the next few years....
  20. Yes, I want to get it. I have a strong feeling it will really help my results
  21. Hello Paddy, i think it does matter. PRP really boosts HT results if taken after 3 months between 3 - 12 months period. Platelets trigger lots of blood circulation, I have also seen a youtuber whose results I follow. He took PRP and it really boosted his results.... one of the best results in my opinion and he gives credit to PRP.
  22. good work, great hairline and very good results. was your crown treated as well ?
  23. Hello Paddy, its growing nicely Here in Toronto, I already searched many clinics are offering some good summer discount on PRP packages. If I buy 4 for example, it will cost me $400 per session. I mean its still expensive in N america as compared to turkey or india but before I was quoted 800 $ per session, so its good price now... and I will buy a package very soon for rest of the year to boost my results thanks
  24. I think PRP definitely boosts HT results. I am also going to buy 3 PRP sessions for the rest of this year
