  1. I would like to explore as well, I think I read somewhere that it doesn't go well with minoxidil /fin-astride for some reason but I could be wrong
  2. Thanks Lennney ..... For sharing your story with Darling buds and for providing updates with pictures periodically. Just so you know, I read your review also before deciding to book with Darling buds (18th March 2019). Let's follow each others progress as we are one of the few 2019 reviewers/patients from Darling buds ( rest is history lol ) https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/53594-3500-fue-grafts-–-scheduled-with-dr-bhatti-darling-buds-on-18th-march-2019/?tab=comments#comment-498155 good luck with your results.
  3. Hi Jhonny, my Day 4 after surgery in India , flying back tomorrow. I will provide a detailed post - op, pre op and during op feedback for all the folks who are on the fence just like I was before I met Dr. Bhatti. At a high level, I felt no pain , no swelling such a well oiled machinery run by Darling buds, amazing staff, highly skilled nurses, courteous drivers, personal attention from Dr. Bhatti whether it's day 0 , day 1, day 2 , 3 or day 4. Patient rep Shera is always there for me. My skepticism faded away since I've lived the entire experience first hand now and i am in a position to guide you if you have any concerns/doubts about Darling buds or Shera could be your man ( patient rep) I 'm very much satisfied. Yes, Dr. Bhatti assured me dense results, hairline was built naturally, tried to share few pics but couldn't upload for some reason. Thank you for the best wishes, we all are in the same boat my friend - need to get this done right for our heads I am leaving tomorrow with a smile on my face and positive that I should be able to achieve the best possible results in next 6 months . Worth mentioning -- Clinic's post op care procedure is top notch, detailed and so easy to follow
  4. As you advised, Ignorance is a bliss. I will be posting my surgery pics that was "painless" for the community very soon (as some were waiting anxiously for an update). Wrapping up my India trip, overall leaving very satisfied with my decision
  5. Hold your horses my friend, my detailed research and extra long review should suffice in explaining that I've revisited every pros and cons, cost and results and more importantly, I can officially sign off now that Dr. Bhatti was a solid choice that I MADE SINCE IT'S DAY 4 AFTER MY OPERATION IN INDIA, I am flying back to Canada tomorrow and will write a detailed report. Regarding 0.85 per graft, its clearly advertised on his website on what basis you will get that rate. I wanted only 18th March and got a decent rate from Dr Bhatti / Shera so i 'm more than happy price-wise ( thanks for your concerns) Ideally its 1.50 USD for the date of your choosing - just FYI my friend 1.50 USD is also the best deal out there globally ( whether India, america, Canada, Europe) that Dr. Bhatti offers . Find me one with this price but make sure he's recommended on this forum/by top mentors. I bet you can't
  6. My assumption got build watching this video from a Reputed doctor/HT mentor but it makes sense what you are recommending me to focus upon first :
  7. To add: a wise member once said : it's not proven how they could adjust all singles, doubles, trips with different diameter sizes into the same choi pen ( width wise ) . It's a grey area with not much clarity yet. Hence my decision to go with FUE
  8. Also, that choi pen for DHT when inserted will just do it in one shot which could be great or disastrous As it could either insert the graft too deep or leave it slightly above the surface which could never get connected to your nervous system and falls out shortly afterwards since there is not much manual control or intervention per graft in DHT. You move to the next one. One shot and move on. Like a staple punch on a piece of paper. Tradition FUE uses 2 hands and insert with some precision/strength to make sure it goes deep in there. My opinion but I could be wrong here
  9. Thank you Bonkling For us patients, the hardest decision which consumes the most time is to decide which doctor to select/trust/ be hopeful with/affordable/reputed/ethical/experienced. This is such a cumbersome task ( mentally ) for most patients Good Luck in your search, I feel if done right - Traditional FUE could provide better results than DHI ( if not done right)
  10. Also I heard that if trips and quads ( if any ) as per my luck and doctor's hard work using microscopic lenses are kept especially for the crown area, then 750 grafts could make some difference. 750 x 3 = 2250 new hair which will blend with my existing few hundred hairs on the crown to give some significant improvement ( I know I am talking in my dream world LOL )
  11. Makes sense but I am hoping there is some improvement on Crown also after my surgery ( at least better than how it looks today) Why : "Because a thick hairline and mid scalp full of hair and no hair at all on the crown screams HT " as someone said wisely. Its an extremely delicate balance with uniform distribution but thank you for being the 2nd pair of eyes on my condition. I will provide a breakdown once things are done !
  12. Thank you Paddyirishman ! I am collecting all "the good lucks" in this world and the " courage" to get this done I will keep you guys updated with my results
  13. Hi Kvn, There is not a single reputed HT surgeon in this world whose results are consistent ( Dr. Rahal Included). Reason: There are so many variables that act as a huge dependency for each patient's results to be successful such as: Hair/Graft quality and how many doubles, triples, quads you naturally are gifted with Are you willing to religiously take all meds, Finas, Rogaine, Dermarolling, exercise, strict diet , Yoga and .............. so on Your body's immunity to recover from any trauma, natural health and recovery factors Your stress levels, hormones, genetic condition , sleep patterns your luck with the surgery - like any surgery, its always the " luck factor" that's extremely important for a great result. also Note: 70% is doctors skills but 30% is patients own drive over the next few years to achieve the best results. some would say its 60/40 ratio . No doctor is a magician who will give you the best result within a single day operating on it, its your head, hair, hard work for life
  14. Also, what's your recommendation for my breakdown of 3500 grafts on the entire region : 1500 to solidify my hairline which should be half moon straight shaped ( I guess no need to lower it down ) 500 on temples 750 - mid scalp 750 - crown or should I request Dr. Bhatti to insert more than 1500 on my hairline alone ?
  15. Agreed ! If Hairline look really natural ( which I haven't lost completely ) I would be a happy camper As implanted grafts should nicely blend in with my existing hairline grafts; it should produce some natural thick results. Regarding overall density, now I see why every clinic quoted me to get more than 3000 Grafts . Thanks Melvin !
  16. Oops ! Thanks for the honest feedback Melvin-Moderator. Much appreciated !!! I always thought today I am NW 3 or 4 going towards NW 6 eventually in the next 10 years as I thought NW 6 means its completely bald in the center ( not a single hair alive) Now, I think my donor area is solid but again correct me if need be ( some pics below) Also, do you think 3500 FUE grafts should give me good density if I take all meds religiously, exercise, strict diet, blood circulation, Derma rolling after the procedure ?
  17. Hi Petroholic, Thanks for sharing your story, I am also going to see Dr. Bhatti next week for my surgery. Any updates on your road to recovery, new pics ? if you don't mind sharing please. Here's my post : https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/53594-3500-fue-grafts-–-scheduled-with-dr-bhatti-darling-buds-on-18th-march-2019/?tab=comments#comment-498155
  18. thanks for the review , Do you mind sharing some recent pictures as you should be full recovered in 24 months by now. Also, regarding asymmetrical hairline : I think most top surgeons intentionally create it as we are all naturally born with asymmetrical hairlines if you notice closely. Very few people have perfectly symmetrical hairlines in my opinion I am also going with Dr. Bhatti next week, so just reading more reviews to pass time until next Monday
  19. @Bill - Managing Publisher Kindly guide me if I am a good candidate for HT with NW3 or just a diffused thinner ?
  20. Based on my research, DHI is definitely better than traditional FUE for many obvious reasons. Detailed my thoughts in this post because Eugenix for DHI was my final decision before I took a U Turn and booked with Dr. Bhatti Instead for 18th March surgery : https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/53594-3500-fue-grafts-–-scheduled-with-dr-bhatti-darling-buds-on-18th-march-2019/?tab=comments#comment-498155
  21. As per my research, Minoxidil is the best and only medicine for boosting hair growth and promoting blood circulation in your scalp area. there is no match yet for minoxidil and it should be definitely considered by all Hair loss patients ( foam is much better as no alcohol) since 1960s when it was first discovered; there are many myths and theories about this medicine. Most people would tell you that if you stop taking it, hair loss is reverted and you loose everything. Well, its the same for proper diet, exercise - do we stop them? No, we continue but even if after 1 year , someone would like to discontinue taking minoxidil, as long as they are willing to perform some crazy exercises religiously that flows the blood to the head/hair follicles, you will never loose what you have gained with minoxil. This is the biggest myth IMO that's out there - that you've to take minoxidil for life. Yes its better to continue it but patients need to understand, our blood takes all the nutrients to each part of our body gained from our diet. Other parts of the body are always easily accessible but going all the way to the top - our head, its extremely hard for our blood to take nutrients and reach there. Minoxidil simply acts as a steriod for those scalp nerves and boost blood circulation towards the head Now, once you stop it - blood circulation would also decreases, hence revert back to old condition but if you replace minoxidil with some insane exercises( upside down) , that promotes blood circulation towards the head or Yoga, you shall see that there is no revert back to old condition.
  22. Here are some pics Pre op reflecting my Hair loss condition : Is this NW 3 or 4 or just diffused thinning ? I am really not sure
