  1. Hey Guys I would like to give you a short update. Now I'm 8,5 months (and 4 days) post op. Here and there I noticed some new growth, but the temples are still gapy. Hopefully there will be a change in the next 3,5 months.
  2. Hey kraistoff, i'm in the same situation like you. In indirect light looks my result quite okay, but i have to stay away from light bulbs or direct sunlight otherwise it looks like i'm balding. In my opinion this should not be the case after a hair transplant but maybe we get some good improvement over the next months. For the current status I decided to grow my hair longer. So I can comb the longer side hair above my temples and it looks a little bit better.
  3. Hey Guys, has transplanted hair another speed of hair growth as native hair? I mean not the process from popping out and growing rather the growth in length. Before my hair transplant I had to go to the barber every 3 weeks. Now I visited in 8 months the barber maximum 4 times.
  4. Maybe the hair in your temples was very weak and after a shock loss it wouldn't come back.
  5. How many grafts did you get in your second procedure? It looks that you have good donor reserves .. do you know how many?
  6. In my case I haven't seen any remarkable growth since the 5 month mark. So I think that the grafts haven't survived, but I can't say why. I always followed the instructions of asmed. I will take some new pictures in a week when I reach my 8 month, but tbh it looks similar to the pictures from a month ago. I would recommend you to do some more research. Not only here in the Forum. Look at the french or turkish one and use the translator. In 3 years a lot can change.
  7. Have exactly the same problems with my temple areas :(. Haven't seen "more growth" since 2,5 months
  8. Are these white hairs implanted Grafts or just baby hair? If yes then it would be a great message 👍 I'm very curious to see your update in few days.
  9. Nice to hear that you reach a good result. As you said if they would perform 3-4 surgeries a day with super professional stuff with much experience then it would not be a problem and the results were still good. Nowadays they perform 6-8 surgeries a day and I think that in 2018 additional techs were employed to prepare the change to the new clinic. Not all of them had the same level and so we see now some cases with a bad growth rate. In my case there were 2 techs and one of them took circa 2400 grafts and the other one circa 600 (probably, because she had fewer experience). But I don't know who of them set them into the slits.
  10. Nice to hear from you bro. Yes I think that too. Currently I don't think that I will go back to asmed. Even when its free. As a NW 5 are my donor reserves like gold for me. I can not afford that they implant me additional 1500 grafts in my frontal third with a bad growth rate. I will wait after 10/11 months and when its get not better I will contact other surgeons. You are right. Konior is a master, but Koray is it too. Otherwise we hadn't choose him. My exception was that I will better pay more money and avoid to have problems after this procedure. Now I see many 1000 €/$ hair transplant from "nameless" surgeons with much better growth. In my research time were bad results from asmed absolutely rare. Honestly I'm now seeing more subpar results as good ones. There is still hope for many of us, but the chances decrease month after month.
  11. Picture of my right side one Month ago (6 month + 1 week). Can not really see a change.
  12. Keep cool xadiohead. If you will start thinking now about your future result then it will be a very hard time for you. The only one answer that we got from asmed is still: waiting, waiting, waiting. @abysmoThanks for sharing your post. I will follow your further progress
  13. Hey abysmo, you are right... for 7,5 months it looks really not how it should be look like. I think that circa 30% popped through the surface based on your picture. Normally we should expect 50% of the end result. I know how you are feeling and it is very hard to imagine that in the coming months much more growth will be happen. Theoretically it is possible, but I can not really believing that so many asmed patients (which had his hair transplant last year) are suddenly slow grower. The only one thing that we can make is still waiting for the 12 month mark. Hopefully we can laugh about our current concerns in the future.
  14. I really hope that I'm a slow grower, but it is hard to believe that after I saw some cases here and in other forums. To be honest ... I had a implanted density of 50 grafts and now I'm seeing at much spots (especially temple area) <15-20 grafts. To reach the basic goal I must have a growth explosion in the coming months. Of course I will give it the the full 12 months and I try to be positive even when it is really hard.
  15. If you would see much more growth by any other forum member then you would feel anxious too. I saved money more then 4 years only to have my surgery by him. Cases like from HairDew shows me that it is possible to reach a good result after poor growth at the 6-7 month stage.
  16. Incredible result 🙌. Do you use rogaine or any other products? Hope my result turn to a good one like yours.
  17. Took this picture of my left side and I'm very shocked how low the density is. Nearly no growth after 7 months in the temple area. Slowly I am losing hope and searching for an repair. My case remind me very strong at Payams.
  18. @CosmoKramer Hopefully you are right. I saw your progress and it makes me hope for my result. At this moment I would suggest that only 40% popping through the scalp. Unfortunately my left side shows nearly the same density like the right side, but I can comb the middle part to hide it. @Kingbilla Infact we should not expect a perfect density at this stage, but it makes me worry that many asmed patients shows this year the same pattern. I haven't seen it by other surgeons.
  19. Great Result. 🙌 Even your progress at the 4 month stage is amazing. I'm using Rogaine since 1 month too(Start at 6 months) and hoping it will increase my low density.
  20. In last time I saw more bad then good results from Asmed... not only here in this forum. Don't know what happened that this consistency ended so abrupt. Asmed offer a 90% warranty of growth rate, but the last cases showed horrible growth. Do you think that asmed can not reach the 90% in average and calculated the "free touch up" in the price ?
  21. Hey Guys, in few days I will pass the 7. month mark and I would like to show you my progress. Actual I'm very disappointed and I hoped that my 7 month status would look much better. I notice a very low density in both temple areas. It could be lower than 15-20 grafts per square centimeter (Implanted density was ca. 50 grafts per sqcm). Another thing which disturb me are that there are many multiple grafts in the hairline. I think it tends to be a failure, but I would like to hear your opinion to my case. PS: Sorry for my english 😀
  22. Dr Koray uses different tech teams for different hair types. So I think it would be difficult to ask for the name of the "good techs", but you should talk with him about your thoughts. The work of him and his techs is every time very clean and professional. Good luck with your procedure.. keep us informed.
  23. I know how you are feeling, but lets wait the full 12 months. Did you contact asmed with your current pictures?
  24. Don't think that it is a coincidence and I really don't think that so many asmed patients are slow grower. Maybe we had the same tech team?
