  1. Hi folks, here I am again :D. I currently have the problem that I have extreme hair loss again. Also in the transplanted area. However, I observed this spurt in the last 2-3 months. My guess is that my hair loss is related to the summer vacation and the hot temperatures. Has anyone had similar experiences or am I wrong?
  2. HLC Ankara..I'm now very happy after they fixed my first failed HT
  3. Hey guys I would love to try a new hair style. Is there anyone who has tried this hairstyle after a HT and can roughly say if the density can become a problem. Is of course individually dependent but maybe someone has already made the experience.
  4. What I learned is that you shouldn't rely on them when they promise you a growth rate of over 90%.
  5. Your first result was really good. I'm sorry to be honest, but I think you lost a lot of potential in your Crown. It is known that the Crown needs a lot of grafts, but you had a total of 3800 in this area (with a density of 30 you could transplant an area of over 120 sqcm). You have a good contrast and a good hair diameter, so I think that normally 3800 grafts in this area would be a very good result. My advice would be to look for a clinic that offers beard transplantation. In my Opinion..1000 grafts from the beard and 1000 grafts from the donor and you would have a perfect result.
  6. Hey, guys, this will be my last contribution regarding my hair transplantation at Asmed. I now had a new hair transplant in which the fail of Asmed should now be fixed. There were 1000 grafts transplanted in the frontal area. In the opinion of the clinic, Asmed made big mistakes. Not only the rate of growth was not good, but also the angles of the grafts. In total, Asmed's growth rate was 60-70% and the density was 30 grafts/sq cm. (Asmed claimed a growth rate of >90% and a density of 50 grafts/sqcm) The whole thing confirmed my opinion that it was the right step to reject the touch up at Asmed. Since I don't want to have a discussion with the Asmed fans I will not continue this thread. Nevertheless you are welcome to exchange private messages.
  7. wow looks totally insane. If you consider that the Crown needs up to 18 months it is a very good interim result
  8. My hair transplantation was 2 years ago and my hair is still curly. My whole donor area has straight hair. Could it be because of the angle of the incisions?
  9. Incredible Result Did you have curly hair before? I am 20 months post surgery and my hair is still curly even though my donor area has straight hair.
  10. typical asmed tactics. They will always claim that everything is fine. In my case they also tried to present my bad result as a good one. Only when I showed them a photo of a square centimetre with 12 hairs was I offered a free repair. But back to the topic...I'm really sorry but if it was shock loss, it would have recovered by now.
  11. Dr.Koray and his clinic was in the past one of the best in Europe. Unfortunately, he decided to expand his clinic considerably and hired a lot of new staff. Many of them do not have enough experience and skills to work at the old familiar level. Now they operate 8 patients per day. If you are lucky you get the good techs. Dr. Koray just draws the hairline and makes the cuts. They promise a growth rate of more than 90% but they can't keep this promise anymore as you could see in many cases here in this forum.
  12. By the way .. I find your hairline suits you very well. Your donor looks after 5k grafts unbelievable 🙌
  13. One of the best results I've seen from Dr.Koray in a long time. Unfortunately such great results have become the exception rather than the rule.
  14. asmed is actually known for very good donor management. I've seen a lot of Asmed reports, but this is the first time I've seen it. I hope it's just a temporary shockloss.
  15. In my opinion this is a result which unfortunately also confirms the last asmed trend. If you are satisfied then everything is fine. For me the density behind the hairline is not sufficient. You seem to have thick curly hair. If you let the hair grow longer you will be able to hide the leakage well. But a 90% growth rate of the 3051 grafts I strongly doubt. You still have a few months where the hair gets thicker. This will definitely improve the look.
  16. I have to comment on this contribution because I do not support these statements. In my consultation with Dr.Koray he confirmed that my hair thickness of 57 micron is European average. It was not said that it is very thin. Although I have been taking Finasteride for several months he also said that the final result does not depend on it. Despite Finasteride I also suffered a shock lock in the first 3 months. Of course taking Finasteride should have a positive effect, but a good result should not only depend on it.
  17. You really want go back ? I mean your donor reserves aren't infinitely ...be careful about future loss. One more failure and it will be very difficult to rescue the whole situation.
  18. hey guys in my next procedure I would like to correct my failed hair transplant (hairline) and fill grafts in my tonsure. What do you think? How many grafts should be implant in my tonsure? Is there something important that should be considered?
  19. Hey guys in 3.5 weeks I will reach my final 12 month mark and share some pictures and a final feedback with you. Today I tried to measure the density in the recipient area. I know it isn't a professional method, but it's still sure that the implanted density doesn't even come close to the 50 Grafts per sqm. In the picture I show you one of my measuring points in the left temple area.
  20. Now I'm 10.5 month post op and it is sure a failure. I haven't got a hairline and my temples are empty like pre op. Can't style my hair and have to wear it down. If I would have the choice again then I wouldn't go to asmed. Any ideas what I can do? A touch up by asmed isn't a option for me.
  21. Hello Guys, Yesterday I reached my 10-month mark and I would like to show you my current status. These photos were taken in normal light in my living room. I was told that I only take my photos under very harsh light, but now you can see that my status looks bad even in normal light. I have to wear my hair down so I can hide this bad density. I am still very dissatisfied with the growth rate and have already consulted new surgeons. Still waiting for answers, but some have said that at least 1000 Grafts will be needed for correction. It's unbelievable that asmed said that my result would be good.
  22. @Melvin-ModeratorOf course I saw your posted thread, but lets be really honest... Why we see this kind of pictures only from asmed patients in the last time? Not because they can't handle the reality that hair transplant is an illusion.. the real reason is that they are very dissatisfied with the density in the hairline area. For most of us its very difficult (maybe impossible) to style our hair like you in the video. I never said that he has an absolutely terrible result, but the quality for the price and a top surgeon doesn't fit together. For only 1000$ he could have the same (maybe better) result of a random clinic at the turkish hair mall.
  23. @Melvin-Moderator Yeah melvin you are absolutely right 😂If someone is tall like shaq o' neal and he looks only down on the top of his dry head ... than it is a good result 😂😂 I always thought you were one of us. Now have people have to deal with such comments when they are dissatisfied and post honest pictures. Really weird that you are the only one who think it's a good result.
