Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, I've checked it out to review surgeons' work over the past few years here and there. I have never really shared my hair loss experience much with others in my daily life and I realize that it would be good for me to reach out and connect with people who understand what it's like and have support to share. I'm interested in the camaraderie here and making a few online acquaintances.
I'm in my early 30s now, my hair loss became noticeable to me in my early 20s. It was a tough time period for me and I didn't talk about it with my friends at the time. It seemed to happen very quickly for me. At that time I really only confided in my mother about it. I eventually decided to get an FUT, which was a mostly uninformed decision, and later on I got an FUE from a good surgeon which really stabilized things for me. I also use hair fibers and have a look that I am genuinely happy with even though I plan to improve it in the future. I have mostly a full head of hair look, with slightly receded hairline when using the fibers. I plan on sharing more of my story in this thread as things go on, but that's the gist of it. I'm at a good place with my hair restoration and daily life now, but kept it quiet for a long time and this is my end to that. Thanks for having me.
