  1. @Bill Smith my friend got the same procedure a year after I did. He outlines it in this thread https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/57934-2480-grafts-with-doctor-luis-nader/?tab=comments#comment-557029 and mentions what he paid, which would be more accurate as it was more recent.
  2. Hey guys, Sorry i'm just not very active on the forums anymore. But wanted to update my progress with some photos. All are from 12 - 15 months post procedure. Sorry for not being more organized but I think it gets the idea across fine. It's 21 months at this point and the shame and embarrassment that I used to feel seems like a different lifetime. I couldn't imagine going to see anyone else. I feel bad for anyone going to see someone subpar for more money than Dr. Nader. He's honestly the best kept secret and whenever I do a touchup in 5 years or so I'm going straight back to him. Also, the fact that I even considered (got an in person consultation) going to a more expensive doctor in Chicago feels like the biggest dodged bullet. They were combative from the start and told me that I wasn't a candidate for FUE, only FUT. Plus the fact that their max graft procedure topped out at 2k (I think they were only going to give me 1,500-1,700) at a price tag 50% more expensive that Nader. Oh and that I had to prove to them that I was capable of living with my hair grown out and not shaved down as it was when I saw them. That experience compared to the one I had with Nader are truly night and day. He's the best and makes you feel so comfortable from start to finish. Don't be put off by the initial lack of communication. I don't know exactly what that is other than they must be super busy but once you're over that hump you're basically in direct contact with him via text on his personal cell. To this day I can still text him and hear back within the day if not the hour. @Icklezz One pic is a selfie with mirror and the other is w/out mirror. I encourage you to draw a mark on one side of your head and try it out.
  3. Haha! I'm flattered @JarBreezy Like I said in my post, the results far surpassed my expectations. I do have really coarse textured hair and knew that would work in my favor. I'm attaching a couple more pics for you and @paddyirishman The mole on my forehead should be a giveaway that it's the same person.
  4. Thanks @paddyirishman! I believe it was 36 or so
  5. i've been meaning to post an in-depth account of my journey and phenomenal results but I've just been too busy. So instead I'm going to put up a few before and after photos for now and will go into more detail in the future. This is mainly to sing Dr. Nader's praises as a world class doctor in terms of professionalism, ethics and most importantly skill!!!! The below photos show where I was 6 months prior to my HT and then a few photos 7 months post. I'm 39 and have been losing hair since I was in my mid 20s but with finasteride and minoxidil i was able to slow the shed for quite some time. I only lost major ground at the age of 37 and had to get vigilant about what i was going to do next after i decided a shaved head just wasn't for me. This has been the best investment I've ever made and the results have far exceeded what I hoped for. I actually worry that its almost too aggressive given that I'm only at 7 months
  6. I also meant to ask why you're going to Turkey instead of back to Nader for your second FUE?
  7. I only had my procedure done a month ago (also with nader) and I feel like I could end up with the same side. If your skin is anything like mine, when i got tattooed on my back the skin would get irritated and rise once in a while, for what I think was 3 years after I got the tattoo. I think it's just sensitive skin/nerves. Now speaking about my donor area, it's relatively healed but still relatively sensitive and bumpy with irritation/pimples/ingrowns. I feel like it's super similar to how my tattooed area felt when I was going through that. Hope that offers some sort of comfort.
