  1. Which green line products did you get? I'm using the patches at the moment in the hope that they will stop me needing to use fin.
  2. It's looking good from what I can see. So you would recommend the CRLab products? It's 2 month supply isnt it and then you take a month break? So essentially around £100 a month? Also, is the hair comb you use the laserband 82? That's what he recommended to me. All seems so expensive and i wish there was more reviews that didnt look like advertisements!
  3. Yeah he did, I spent a lot of last night looking around the internet for some reviews or anything that could give an insight into the effectiveness but I couldn't find anything. Did you try it? Also, what about the laser? At this point I'm trying to find anything which means I don't need to go on finasteride. How did your results turn out?
  4. Hi, First off, I really wanted to contribute to this website as it has helped me considerably over the past couple of months and prior to my first HT back in 2014 - so thank you very much to everyone who contributes to this site and I encourage people to do the same! As stated above, I've gone for a 2,200 FUE session with Marwan Saifi in Poland - my first transplant was with him but, sadly, I didn't take any progressive photos as the results came through. I was very happy with the first outcome but I lost a considerable amount of native hair over the past 4 and a half years since my first procedure as I rather stupid and didn't take the right preventative measures. The aim for this session was to add more density all over the top of the scalp in any area's which have thinned and increase coverage in the frontal zone. I won't go into a mass of details about the session itself as I have read several of Marwan's reviews on this and they gives an accurate and detailed cover of the procedure and how it went (just search for Marwan Saifi). Dr Saifi, upon consultation, tried to push for me to have only 1,800 grafts - however I wanted to push further with this as I would ideally like this to be my last HT for a rather long time, with a wedding coming up and lovely (and presumably economically draining) children to follow in the new future 😛 The only thing I will point out is that Marwan had an assistant Doctor with him (Dr. Taleb Barghouthi) who owns a clinic in Jordan. I would say Marwan does around 30% of the begging of each phase - removing grafts, making incisions and inputting grafts and from what I could tell Taleb takes over. Although not a massive concern for me as Taleb came across very professional and knowledgeable (especially as he is a Manchester United fan also :-D), I think it's worth pointing out. The main purpose of this blog is to give people an idea of what they can expect if they are thinning following an initial HT or for people who are aren't looking to have hairline brought forward, but higher density input into the frontal zone and a healthy amount added throughout the mid and crown section. I will also be looking to capture some of the progress throughout the days and weeks so people can look to see how the recovery period goes. I had the surgery on the 13th December and my target is to be pretty much undetectable by the time I get back to work on the 2nd January, giving me 20 days recovery. Some sites I have read say you need more (up to 6 weeks) some say you will be fine in 10 days - Let's put it to the test and I will let you see how it goes. If you are like me and wanted to go back to work and people not notice that you've had a hair transplant, another forum I read gave some really good advice - buzz your hair short. A no.1 if you haven't had a surgery before and no scars (I prev. had FUT as you can see in the pics below) or if not, go for a no. 3 or 4 all over. That way you get the awkward "woah, you shaved your head, why did you do that" questions out of the way a few weeks before your procedure - and then when you get back (i'm hoping) no-one will be the wiser! Below are some before photos with long hair, with buzzed hair 2 weeks before and just before/after surgery. P.s, if you have any tips for reducing swelling, it'll be more than appreciated.
