  1. I would try switching back to the grand that was working well for you. I sometimes would think I woukd begin to shed after refilling my prescription but I also think it was mental. Unfortunately shedding is natural and something you can’t really avoid. I had a transplant and I had a drastic shed right before my one year mark and I was devastated. I feel like it never fully grew back but that could be mental as well. In your situation I would just recommend you get back on the brand that was working for you and start to use a derma-roller
  2. Just over 2 years ago with a Dr in Florida. I’m Looking to have another one as my results were not up to par and I’m leaning towards Dr Bloxham
  3. Starting to look really good ! Don’t stress the scar. When I cut my hair short like yours around 4months the scar looked the same way, it’s the shock loss in the area around the scar. Patients is key and the hardest part! 6-7 months you should be very happy with the scar and the new hair. Congrats I think I will be having a second procedure with Bloxham this November 🥴
  4. I think I healed really well. Bloxham agreed that my scar is really good. I’m just nervous about doing another of course. Bloxham said he would cut out the first one so I would once again only have one.
  5. So I had an FUT procedure about 2 years ago with Huebner in Florida. Long story short I didn’t get the result/density I needed and regret having the procedure there, I wasn’t as educated at the time. I will say though that my scar result is pretty dam good and have no complaints with it. I live in the NYC area and after having a consult with Feller and Bloxham I have decided that IF I have another procedure I will have it done with them. I know I will have a fantastic result as their work is phenomenal. I am though worried about a second strip scar. So my question is how worried should I be about a second procedure scar being wider than my first ? Bloxham told me it’s possible that it will be but it all depends on my body healing. Any feedback would be appreciated
  6. Dude your hair looks awesome. I wish I went to Bloxham for my first procedure, I will def be going to him for my second when I have the courage to do it again. It’s easy to be self critical as it’s YOUR hair and of course we all want perfection but it really looks great. I highly recommend using some Toppik for any areas that are bothering you, a little bit goes a long way. As for your scar, was this due to multiple procedures or is this just shock loss?
  7. The whole frontal 1/3, almost the first half actually.. the hairline as well.
  8. Picture 1 - around the 9month post op when hair was its best. No hairfibers September 2018 picture 2 - around my one year post op when the shed was obvious. January 2019 picture 3,4,5 - is today. September 2019 Mind you my hair gets very blonde in and after summer and gets darker in the fall and winter. Also the pictures from today my hair is not brushed or anything actually have been wearing a hat all day at work hence I’m in construction
  9. Yes, pretty much I waited it out and some of the hair grew back but I wouldn’t say all. My hairline is still lacking and so is density, in fact there is very little density and Im constantly fighting my hair and still feel the need to use hair fibers which sucks. Dont get me wrong, I definitely have more hair than before the procedure and the whole experience with Huebner was great, except for the final product. I was just simply uneducated and I regret not going to Bloxham the first time being that he is pretty much in my backyard and his results are top notch. I actually had a consult in person with Bloxham around my 12month post-op and he agreed that I didn’t have a failed procedure but it was just lacking overall. Bloxham was very understanding that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do just yet but made a plan of just doing a full frontal case of 2000 grafts FUT to really bulk up and build a strong hairline and work in between all the grafts that Huebner did and was confident it would be a great result. He even compliment my scar and that I healed quite nicely and was pleased to see I had healthy donor. My only concern is will I be able to have a 3rd procedure if and most likely when my crown starts to go.. (it has shown signs of thinning but thanks to finasteride it’s hanging on) Bloxham said a 3rd FUT is possible but you risk the scar not healing ideally, but that FUE would be an option. Also, I didn’t really document this whole experience as I probably should have. I will try to upload some pictures for you see. Any advice and recommendations is appreciated
  10. I had a procedure with Huebner just over a year and a half ago. His videos and over the phone consult really made me feel at ease with choosing him for my procedure as I never thought I would actually follow through with doing it. The procedure went well and at about 9 months after the procedure I was very happy with my result. Then right before my one year mark I had I guess what you can call a huge shed. It seemed like all the new hair started falling out and it was just horrible and traumatizing. After doing research on here I was told to wait it out before pulling the trigger on another procedure (which I was going to do with Feller and Bloxham) and give it 18 months. Well I’m glad I did wait cause around the 18 and 19 month things started to grow back (the beginning of this past summer 2019). I do not feel everything grew back as well as it grew in the first time and Here I am now realizing what I have as a final result and to be honest I’m no satisfied after seeing other people’s results with other doctors. I’ve become quite admirable of other people’s hair again. I’m kinda rambling but to get to the point I’m just curious to what people really think about Huebner’s results and procedures? I will be having another procedure one day and it will most likely be with Feller and Bloxham as I wish I went to them the first time but I just don’t know when I want to pull the trigger. Again, what is Huebner’s reputation ?
  11. I had some native hair in the area already but nothing worth talking about. I have seen much improvement since the winter it seems a lot of it has grown back in but it’s not as dense or as strong as it was at the 9 month post op before this shed. I’m still disappointed. I don’t have much faith it will improve from here. A second procedure is def on my mind
  12. Hey man I’m sorry you are experiencing this and I say that because I am experiencing the same exact thing, except my “shed” of transplanted hair happened just 10 months after my surgery. I don’t understand either man I’m so upset. I was so dam happy and my new hair line was looking so great I couldn’t believe it and it was suppose to get even better with a few months of growth left ! Then out of no where it just started to go and go and go. I reached out here on the forum and the only answer I got was from Spex and a few others that it was a shed and it’s more common than not? Just not really spoken about. Idk man. I believe you though and agree with you judging by your photos you posted. This has been going for 4 months now and I’m hoping things grow back in but my luck they won’t. I payed quite a penny for my procedure too and now I’m looking into and saving to have another one with a different doctor. I’m sorry brother I’m in the same boat. It’s heart breaking. I’m using Topic Hair fibers in the mean time, maybe they will help you as well. Best of luck
  13. My situation isn’t exactly what you explained. If you read I explained that my result at 8, 9 and 10 month was great and I had no complaints. After that it’s as if hair in my new hairline and density behind just started going away and falling out. I’m approaching the 14 month mark and it’s still hasn’t grown back.
  14. I understand what you mean, but I do not think that’s the case. There has not been much of an improvement or even any at all. I noticed this “shed” right after Thanksgiving. January 18 was my 12 month post surgery date. Therefore the shed started at roughly the 10/11 month mark. Its about to be month 14. The user Spex in his hair shedding post said these sheds can last 3 to 4 months and all will return eventually. I’m praying things improve in the following weeks. How do hairs grow for almost a year and just die? Is that even a possibility? I though the follicle either survives the procedure or it doesn’t, and it would be determined right from the beginning of growth? Is it possible for a follicle to grow for that long after transplantation and THEN die ?
  15. March 12th and hair line still hasn’t picked back up. Been just over 3 months now. Hair feels and looks very thin. Is it possible a shed like this is similar to the shed after the initial procedure? The grafts fall out over the course of the first month and take 3-4 months to start growing again? Could this be a possibility ?
