  1. Hey Jhonny why can't you just pay in Canadian dollars? It works out cheaper from what I've seen. I know if you're from the States H&W charge you in USD but surely if you're from this side of the world (Aus, NZ) you would be able to travel over and pay in Canadian.
  2. Great result for this patient! Do you happen to have photos of this patients hairline before either of the two procedures? I'm assuming the before and after in these pics, say the very first one for example, is post first HT on the left and post second HT on the right.
  3. What Melvin said, those are the most renowned where you are based and considered two of the best HT clinics/ surgeons in the world. Do your research first, there is plenty to be found on both of those choices on this forum. Things to consider as you research are - do you prefer FUT or FUE (largely upto how you wear your hair), from your own eye test who has the best and most LEGITIMATE results and what are your realistic expectations as opposed to your dream results because from what my research suggests there is sometimes a disconnect between these two for a HT patient and this can cause issues post transplant. Enjoy your search bro.
  4. Thanks for the clarification bro, oh that's good of the doc to be as honest as that, the reason I asked you that specifically is my hair and type of thinning is almost identical to yours so was wondering on the logistics of your surgery.
  5. Hey mate, good luck on the growing, the work looks really clean and precise which is always a good sign, most of us know that background well enough to say you went to a good Dr, either one of them lol. My question is... is that really 4k grafts or is it 4k hairs so around 2k grafts? It just doesn't look like the usual 4k graft type HT's I've seen in other threads. 4K usually covers a lot more of the scalp if I'm not mistaken. Maybe Melvin or one of the other experts can clarify this.
  6. oh yes Mycroft you are right, it was a 1.5mm dermaroller in the study.
  7. Good vlog here Cosmo but damn when the dude talks about "busting heavy loads" or whatever that shit was cringe hahaha
  8. What is the size of the microneedle you guys are using? I read the test that's been circling the net for years and if I remember correctly it was an 0.5 dermaroller they used in conjunction with minox that garner the best results, good luck boys!
  9. Congrats on your decision bro, I think that is the hardest part, you chose a really good surgeon, I'm still trying to decide, could I have a look at your spreadsheet as well?
  10. Thanks Dr Bloxham, it seems near pointless to use Minox' if your hair is just going to fall out.
  11. We all talk about the big 3 for trying to keep what hair we have left, obviously minoxidil/ rogaine etc is one of them. I've also noticed a lot of us comment on not wanting to continue to use it because it seems to cause hair shedding. Q: In your experience does the hair grow back stronger after it sheds or is it permanently lost?
  12. Wow he did an amazing job, it's rare you see a Dr Konior patient with any amount of grafts of 2500, good for you cap.
  13. Wow those are 0.95 sized extraction holes? I would've assumed by how small they look the size would have been closer to 0.8 mm... nice work Dr.
  14. Did your bf ever consider doing FUT over FUE, so a strip surgery? When you have that level of diffused thinning FUE doesn't seem like a smart choice to me being you need as many grafts as you can get, surely Dr. Diep discussed a plan with him
  15. Good for you Dr Bloxham, can't wait to see them. Your clinic is on my short list of the ones I'm interested in coming to for my HT so I'll be following these threads closely.
  16. Dude Brad Pitt wants his hairline back... Two good docs with solid results from what I've seen.
  17. Honestly the hairline on this particular patient looks "pluggy" and a little unnatural, is this the result of a lack of one hair grafts being used at the front of the hairline? Density wise it looks really good though and with his hairstyle he can hide the hairline I guess.
  18. Comparatively they should both do the same job but I have tried both and I tend to go with the liquid, the foam evaporates in your hair as opposed to making it to your scalp so you need to apply more of it, the liquid is messy and tends to run down the forehead so you need to catch it in time, in terms of brand I stick to rogaine (regaine here in New Zealand).
  19. This is a great result for this patient, awesome work Dr Bloxham, I hope you guys post more results in the future it's good to see you back.
