Hi, I was just wondering how much pricing has changed for FUE throughout the years. When I first started doing research for FUE transplants about 7 years ago, I think it was averaging around 3.50-5.00 per follicle. I've recently had consultations with 3 Dr's and its ranged anywhere from 7-10 dollars per follicle. Do you guys see prices going up or down for FUE procedures in the next 5 years? If money is an issue, would it be smart to rush a surgery now, or wait?

I've been flip flopping for the past 3-4 years and have finally decided I've grown some balls...I'm looking for a Dr in the southern california area, or it's vicinity for a FUE procedure. I've gotten a consultation before from Dr diep for around 1500 graphs...what are some of your guy's suggestions for top dr's FUE dr's in california?

here's a picture of my top, front, and back..my back was grown out longer than how i normally have it cut. Judging from these pictures and my preference of cutting my sides short, what procedure would you guys recommend me doing? fue or fut?

Hi, I've been doing hair transplantation research for a number of years on these forums, and have finally decided it's time to go ahead and go through with it. I've recently consulted 2 well known FUE doctors in Southern California, and have been told I need anywhere between 1500-2000 graphs. Today I consulted with Hasson and Wong and was told I will need around 3000 graphs, but of course with Hasson and Wong, it is a FUT operation. I was wondering why there is such a huge difference, is it because its a strip operation? I sent all 3 doctors the same set of pictures. I am a 30 year old asian male, who has a very high buzz cut (0 clip), I was wondering if I could get some input from the community, on which doctors to seek out and what operation would be the safer bet, since scarring is going to be big factor on who I choose. Sorry if this might come off as a dumb question, but there was a Yahoo.com news article the other day which recommends micro-graph hair restoration as a alternative to hair transplantation...can someone please tell me the difference, if there is one? and where would I find more information on micro-graph hair restoration? Hi, I am a 27 year old male with a moderate-severe receding hairline. Up until today, I was positive that a FUE transplant was the answer for me, however after my discovery of this website/forums, now I find myself at square 1, not knowing what to do or where to go. I've had an online consultation with Dr.Umar (who was very helpful), and suggested that I do 1200-1800 FUE transplantation. After doing a little more research on the forums, I'm starting to wonder if I should just op for the traditional strip surgery, since its less costly (my budget is around 8-9k cash), and is somewhat more popular amongst people on the forums. I'm aiming to have my surgery done in around April-May, and would like to stay within Southern California.
