  1. Lots of great results from True and Dorin recently, everything looks very refined.
  2. Graft placement looks really good. You're fortunate to have so many multi hair grafts, I think this is gonna go a long way
  3. 8 Week Update Most of the grafts shed at the 3 week mark, so now it's just a waiting game. A few have stuck around and grown out, and some early sprouts are starting to come in. Pimples have been appearing almost every day, which I interpret as a sign that the growth is coming. There's still a good deal of redness along my hairline, but friends and family have assured me that it's not very noticeable in public. Haven't really spotted people looking up at the redness so I haven't bothered wearing a hat. It's a lot more obvious under the harsh lighting in the below pics, and I've been applying aloe vera and moisturizer daily to make it fade more quickly (doesn't seem to be making a huge difference though). The scar is still easy to spot when I part my hair, and I did notice a patch of shock loss a few weeks after surgery. Looking forward to attempting some shorter hairstyles once the existing hair grows in a little more. There's still some numbness in the recipient area and above the scar, but as time has passed it's continued to fade. I will note for those considering FUT that while it was relatively painless for me and I was able to get back to work quickly, I wouldn't discount the fact that your head will feel very different for an extended period of time. I definitely don't regret going with FUT, but I do feel more tempted to go for FUE next time around because the healing process does take a while.
  4. Killer result. Looks like you have a pretty thick hair caliber too, which I'm sure was helpful
  5. Looks great. Pretty incredible how far you’ve come with around 2800 grafts total. And I’m sure the crown will continue to improve over the next several months
  6. The growth looks awesome so far. And only going to improve more over the next 6 months. Very natural looking, congrats!
  7. Looking good so far. It’s possible the grafts around that spot are mostly multi hair grafts, so they may end up giving you more coverage than you’d expect
  8. I really like Rahal’s hairline artistry. Hasson’s hairlines and temples are also very good though, so you honestly can’t go wrong here. I would thoroughly look at patient posted results from each doctor and go from there. There have been one or two Rahal threads recently in which patients expressed dissatisfaction with their results — which doesn’t necessarily speak to Rahal’s quality, as no surgeon hits a home run 100% of the time (and Rahal’s home runs are very good). And sometimes patients don’t allow enough time for results to mature before they make up their minds. I would just look at as many similar cases as possible, and decide for yourself.
  9. Nice choice of graft placement, his hairline is looking a lot better and the transition to the thinner area in back is very natural. How was the patient’s hair caliber? I’ve heard that Spanish hair is often thick and coarse
  10. The doctors listed in this thread are the main top guys imo. As far as up and comers? Nadimi and Bloxham are doing great work, wouldn’t be surprised if they become the dominant names in the years to come
  11. Konior did just about everything with my procedure, and I believe Gabel and Cooley follow a similar philosophy in the US. I wouldn’t necessarily avoid tech heavy clinics entirely, but I would call ahead and make sure those working on your case have at least a few years of experience.
  12. I don't think it's dead, a lot of doctors still advise that patients start with FUT to maximize lifetime donor yield. It's also much cheaper in most cases, and a good surgeon can usually make the scar small enough so that it's not an issue for most people.
  13. How old are you? I’m 28 and was tempted to thicken up my crown but Konior talked me out of it There’s a decent chance you won’t be fully satisfied with 1500 grafts, though Nadimi seems to get excellent mileage out of that graft count
  14. Tough call. If you’re going for 3000+ grafts HnW might have an edge because they’ve done so many good megasessions. Both are great with hairline work and scars. I would do what Melvin suggests, talk to both and see if the differing surgical plans push you one way or the other.
  15. Looks really good. You can easily pass for regular hair density with a little Toppik at this point, and I'm sure there's much more thickening to come.
  16. Your hair was pretty solid in the before pics, so I'm sure the new grafts will add that extra naturalness you're looking for. Congrats and good luck!
  17. Nice result, his midscalp looks a lot better and it's always good to see those comb back videos. Hairline looks natural and fittingly conservative given the potential for future loss 👍
  18. Mainly his ability to make fewer grafts go a long way and his involvement in every stage of the surgery. Check my thread for more detailed reasoning
  19. If you didn’t cause any bleeding, you’re probably fine. Grafts are permanent at 10 days and usualky hard to dislodge 8 days in.
