  1. I watched my hair thin over the past 10 years. I looked at my older brothers and uncles and knew that I didn't want to look like them. I was prescribed Propecia a couple of times and that was not for me and quit within a very short time. I spoke to a couple friends who had had surgery and how they felt about their results. I knew that surgery was the only way that I would get close to the results that I was hoping for. I live in Phoenix and began to research options here in Arizona. I found every option in the city and made multiple appointments. Some were privately owned local clinics, some were nationally franchised. I visited 7 offices total. All of the offices I visited, I met with sales people who were consulting and then scheduling the surgeries. They would schedule specific weekends where the visiting surgeon would fly into town to do the procedure. I met with another nationally franchised company where the surgeon is local but I still never met them. When I went to Dr. Alexander's office, he met me in the front and walk me back to his office. Within a very short time of speaking with Dr. Alexander I knew that he was the very best choice. I cancelled the rest of the appointments. Out of all the clinics, he was the only appointment where the doctor met with me directly. He took the time to share with me his unique techniques and specialties. Dr. Alexander was a hospital surgeon and made a personal lifestyle choice to evolve into hair restoration. His background is very impressive. He uses a custom surgical blade cutter that he showed to me and the difference it makes by allowing the hairs to be implanted closer together and at a natural angle. He explained the procedure of layering the hair follicles from the front with single hair follicles and increasing the follicles with more hairs further back on the scalp. He explained how he designs the hair line. Each one of these factors play a huge role in the surgery thus creating the very best natural looking results. Knowing this, I could not imagine approving a procedure that would be missing anyone of these specialty techniques all performed by Dr. Alexander. I had my surgery 8 months ago. The day of the procedure, Dr. Alexander and all of his staff could not have been more professional and gracious. It was 12 hours long and while I was spent, all I did was sit there. They did all the exhausting technical work - yet it was very clear that all of them enjoy what they do. I saw Dr. Alexander yesterday. I could not be more excited to show him the results. My hair has filled in amazingly well. I've had it cut several times and it lays naturally. The very best part and I think the best compliment anyone could say for Dr. Alexander is that of everyone that I know - no one has ever said a word to me about my hair. It looks so natural that no-one can tell that I had a procedure. If you want the best possible results – Biltmore Hair Restoration is where you go.
