    Hi,
Trying to find good african clinics in turkey or somewhere else. on youtube I find a lot of guys going to asli tarcan with mega session (5000-6000 grafs) and damage donor or hair of instanbul.
    Do the best as:
    Dr. Bruno Ferreira
    Dr. Pekiner
    HLC in turkey
    Eugenix
do surgery on african people? I could't find on their pages

All I know is you should be looking at lots of PATIENT not clinic posted results. Ignore the YouTube vids and Instagram posts these clinics put out. Find real patient posted results

    Brizmore,

to be honest, I think her transportation or scalp micro pigmentation could help you but there are pros and cons to both approaches. For starters, I suggest consulting with a top hair transplant surgeon and discuss whether or not he or she thinks a hair transplant procedure is right for you. In this case, FUE would be the most appropriate procedure especially since you are looking to fill in a star and not achieve another one. But sometimes hair Has a more difficult time growing in scar tissue than normal tissue. So that is one thing to discuss with your doctor. Tatian is a viable technique but would have to be a repeat procedure every couple of years. There is permanent SMP but as far as I know, discoloration is still very possible a couple years down the road. That’s why temporary SMP is typically preferred but over time, the procedure needs to be repeated.

Please keep us posted with your decision,

    Bill

Hey bill, sorry but what is a “her transportation?”

De Freitas began working in the field at a Portuguese hairmill while Ferreira and Ximena got their know-how from Lorenzo in Spain. Yes they all use the lion implator pen but there’s much more to the HT than the instruments and I believe it’s different when someone learns from the best or at a hairmill.

But there’s no denying that de Freitas achieves great results. The Spanish forums are brewing over with praise for him. Do u think the Spanish forums r just marketing?

@whattheFUE I have to agree with @Melvin-Moderator because it makes zero sense to place Keser in that list as this is a Doctor that doesn`t use a microscope, doesn´t speak English (recluse from the international FUE scene) and cherry picks his patients.

Couto has almost no real patients at the Spanish forum as it`s dominated by Dr. Bruno Pinto (Porto) and Dr. Ximena Villa (Madrid). He is however fully booked for more than 2 years and does seem tk be achieving great results.

Dr. Rafael De Freitas started working in this field at the Portuguese Hairmill C2MC (2010-2012) where techs do your surgery with little supervision from the Doctor so I`m baffled as to how a Doctor with 2 years experience at a Hairmill plus 2 years of experience at some clinics and hospital in Spain prior to opening his own clinic is now awarded a spot on a Top 10 list.

Hattingen is in my opinion the best for anyone looking for FUT Mega Sessions other than that I would recommend other surgeons.

Hasson&Wong are legends and do belong in any top 10 list even if they do use techs do the part of the surgery (probably some of the best techs in the world).

Wait, you think de Freitas is not as good as everyone claims? Why? Do u know where he received additional training? It seems like most Spanish and Portuguese doctors use the same lion implanter pen so they must have received similar training.

So guys, today is the 11 month mark. I havent posted since 9 months because I wanted to leave it to see if there was much more difference. Not sure there has been much more growth over this period, or maybe its more difficult to notice at this stage. But if this the end of my growth then I am more than happy with the result. Obviously there are some areas thicker than others, but with realistic expectations I think dr Cinik (he done the incisions) and his team have done a great job.

Below I've listed my latest pics.

    20200820_140938.thumb.jpg.21a422a6c49989d00cbd069defa9d96c.jpg

Below I've done a timeline collage throughout the process which really shows how far I've come in the process.

    20200820_141125.thumb.jpg.2aa884f9cefacbc3dd32ae66d14647da.jpg20200820_140849.thumb.jpg.a2ea10c7207d4bb6211855ce139e7c3a.jpg

As I've said, I'm more than happy with the result and any further growth from now would be a bonus. Will keep updating every couple of months until around 18 months. Stay safe.

This looks quite good. What’s the shortest u can go in the donor before u see issues? R u happy with the donor?

"To achieve the density we have produced with our patients, we implant in rows. We can implant in randomly but you will not achieve the same density. The blood supply is limited for the grafts. Other doctors....Hasson & Wong do not achieve our levels of density. If you look at farmers, they do not grow in random patterns........"

That was Dr. Diep's answer to my question presented to him last night as to why he implants in rows. So there you have it. The answer and reason why Dr. Diep implants in rows. Admittedly, Dr. Diep does achieve excellent density.

I'll leave that here for you guys to mull over before my next update. Paging a few folks who've wondered why this is done as so:  @Tentpole91, @Dadda, @Noodles123, @Buffaloboy, @hybonix, @BDK081522. Feel free to discuss.

I'm not an expert or medical doctor but I call BS on this one. What does blood supply have to do with implanting in rows?

My question to you and other doctor diep patients is...how long did it take him to do incisions? If he completes 2500 incisions in 30 mins or less I'm guessing he creates rows in an effort to save time. All my opinions of course (don't want to get banned again for giving it)

    True but

1 of them had an infection which was unlucky and they did a repair which was successful

1 is unhappy but he is unhappy with all of his surgeries so it's highly subjective

My results with Couto were good, not fantastic but good. I have had a lot of work done and it's hard to yield good growth on scar tissue.

I still believe the amount of impressive work he has done is undeniable and regardless of my results not being spectacular I would recommend him to anybody

didnt you just say in the post above that you had 100% survival in your temple points? Why did u switch so many doctors if you were happy with one?

bro what are you talking about. As you're a moderator, you should be more careful with your 'opinions' as you know people will hold what you say with greater weight! Dr Farjo has had many bad results and is known for this. A simple google search of Dr Farjo the truth returns you with a facebook page with over 1000 likes detailing many poor results. Some patent testimonials on youtube as well showcasing his poor results. Please be more careful with your posts, this is a very important procedure.

Remember....mods are going to push doctors that are “recommended” on this site. Aka pay to be part of the community

    Hello Morocci,

I asked my clinic to show me few beard transplant results, so they did, they seem to have plenty (done by team or Dr himself). At the clinic they had 2 options. One was transplant by Dr. Doganay, another - by his technician team; cost differs. I selected transplant by technicians as I had limited budget, but dr was the one who consulted me, designed the shape, instructed his techs, and he said he is responsible for outcomes. So, I trusted.

They used both: FUE and DHI (motored tool for extraction (looking like tattoo pen) and pen implanter for planting).

I think, the healing goes well.

    Here is my last pic.

How does your donor look at this length?

Im genuinely interested as to what Hasson and Wong, or other surgeons for that matter, would do for a 'failed transplant'.
(By the way, I am not suggesting this is a failed transplant, but such a thing is one of my biggest fears)

So I wonder what surgeons policies are: full refund seems doubtful. 50% refund..hmmm who knows. free top-up? possibly..

Can anybody shed any light on this?

    Thanks

It depends on the surgeon. Some surgeons don’t offer anything and say hts have inherent risk. Some offer growth guarantees of 85-90% and offer touch ups. Some will make patients sign an NDA and give a partial/full refund in order to save face. You’ll just have to ask this question to each surgeon/clinic.

Day 4 update. Sry for the low lighting. I'll try to upload better photos next time.

I have swollen eye lids since yesterday. Not sure if it is because of the medications that I'm taking currently. Is this expected?

    20200913_162147.jpg

Swelling is very normal at this stage. Likely from the anesthesia and other fluids injected into the scalp working it’s way down. Drink plenty of water. If it really concerns you then follow up with your doc

If I understand correctly about androgen receptors (and I might be wrong), It won't be a "DHT shield". Androgen receptors are binding with DHT thus producing adverse effects which is MPB. Androgen receptors are also binding with T, thus they're competing, thus some theories that high T increases hair loss too. Anyways, It supposedly works in a similar fashion like RU58841. CB-03-01 will be competing for androgen receptor binding with DHT & T, thus minimizing % of DHT binding, thus less miniaturisation. Not a complete cure, but definitely a huge help.

I'm just curious, if DHT won't be reduced systemically, where all of this extra DHT will go in the body if it will be unable to bind on the scalp androgen receptors.
Of course there will be other debates. Some people say scalp hair follicles in people with MPB are sensitive to DHT, meaning any other non balding men theoretically should have similar DHT levels in the body, but less sensitivity, thus less hair loss.

Interesting topic and definitely curious to see more info and results on it.

Not a doctor but here is my thinking. If the med has a higher affinity (think higher magnetic ability) to bind to the androgen receptors then it will out-compete specific androgens whether it be t or dht. Just like dht has a higher affinity than t. So if the concentration is high enough, vehicle supports good absorption for the topical to get to where it needs, and the chemical has a higher affinity, then the dht just doesn’t get as much of a chance to bind to the androgen receptor and turn on genes within the cells to trigger cell apoptosis/inflammation/etc.

  14. Serkan Aygin and dr gho? Please step back before making a decision you will regret. Aygin runs a Turkish hair mill. Gho is a delusioned Doctor that was trying to tell the world he had figured out hair cloning.

you went to a very good doctor for the first round.

id figure out how to get your eczema under control first. See a dermatologist so they can examine u. If it’s Truly eczema then things like topical steroids and possibly coal tar shampoo can help but you’ll need a doctor to confirm.

i assume you live in Europe. There’s many good options there: feriduni, bisanga, hattingen, Lorenzo, Freitas, hdc, etc. Consult with as many reputable docs as possible
