  1. I’m still waiting on your response mr moderator.
  2. Perhaps an explanation to this absence would silence the forum.
  3. We’re all generalising here but the issue could be a strip that resembles a train track that doesn’t need 12 months to figure out it’s unacceptable.
  4. Keep dreaming Shifty, nothing ventured nothing gained.
  5. Fair response & you’re absolutely right. Many times ‘top tier & and perhaps many surgeons selectively forget to note it has taken more than one attempt to achieve satisfactory results. However I for one believe it’ll take more than one surgical visit to get where you want to be, as in life it’s a contant battle to achieve satisfaction. But as you say it builds false hopes for the naive.
  6. My doctor recommended cutting Proscar 5mg into quarters taking a quarter tablet every Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Giving the body a rest on Saturday & Sunday. He has already had a HT and follows his own advice. Not knowing you medication intake it’s just a thought.
  7. BLM, appreciate the humor, at times there’s little enough on the site. No problem posting my journey probably be in at least a couple of weeks after the surgery when I’m in receipt of all the pics & data etc. The strange thing is in preparation of the surgery I had the hairdresser shave most of my head and it didn’t look as bad as I expected, strange old world. Cheers
  8. Either way it’s down to the skill of the surgeon, focus on the services the clinic provide and the end result.
  9. Appreciate the response BLM, unless i’ve missed something Diep hasn’t responded you your original question as why exhaust one side of the head for donor. I’m due for a HT next week (not with Diep) and is it something I should be requesting because i fail to understand the thought process beyond it. Anyway, good luck on your journey & don’t be letting the girls pull at your new hair in a moment of passion!!
  10. I would seriously consider Rahal for your next surgery, producing some fantastic results. Good luck on your journey.
  11. You should submit the doctors name but also respect that he or she is entitled to put their case forward to provide a balanced version of events for the forum to form their opinion. It’s only fair that we have a level playing field.
  12. Refund & grow your hair out in the hope that in time it will fade.
  13. That’s assuming you require additional surgery, not convinced.
  14. Can somebody explain the rationale of using only one side of the head for donor?
  15. My understanding is alcohol two weeks prior to surgery & two weeks post surgery should be avoided as it thins the blood and can prolong the healing process. However, I don’t think the odd glas of wine or beer is going to impact on the overall result. As with most things in life, use a bit of common sense & everything in moderation.
  16. Keep saving and run with Keser very impressive results, you get one shot at this.
  17. The reality is not that everybody has the funding to look beyond their first surgery & not every surgeon (recommended on this website) advises that further surgery is a requirement, false hopes comes to mind. Thats life.
  18. Not convinced about the hairline but if the recipient is that’s all that matters.
  19. You must feel if you’ve been taken advantage of, cheated & mislead. The challenge of litigation & the reality of a refund is unlikely but if you dont ask you don’t get. I would certainly change surgeons should you decide on further surgery. Good luck in your quest for resolution.
  20. Available online in the UK in 5mg tablet form, split into four and take 1/4 tablet every other day.
  21. Save the grafts for your head, you may need more than one surgery in years to come.
