  1. Thanks. I really hope so. I was a bit down in the dumps with what Dr. C said. What do you think of what was said ?
  2. 4.5 month post op update - Asmed- Dr Koray Erdogan hey guys it's been a little while this is my 4.5 months Post op update. Bare in mind that I had a lot of native hair as well so might be an idea to check out my pre op photos at the start of the thread. Hair line is way ahead of the crown at this stage. In fact alot of the hairs in the very extreme of the hairline did not shed. There is np sign at this stage of any multi hair grafts at the very front so happy about that.I'm feeling small sharp or spikey hairs on the crown although I can't physically see them at this point. I spoke to another doctor last night about this feeling of spikey sharp hairs and he said that's not a good sign (very surprised as I thought that is sprouting) and that I should tweeze transplanted hairs out that are not growing otherwise I'll get pimples. Don't understand that at all. It's only 4.5 months. In normal room light it looks good but then under light it looks very see through and actually the other doctor said it shouldn't be see through at this many months which again I think is horse shit. By the way this other doctor was not my doctor. Let me know what you guys think particularly Melvin would love to see what he thinks as well as Spex. Wet:
  3. Payum. Are in uk ? Dr lupanzula is visiting London for consultations on 9th march. You should definetly not miss this opportunity for his assessment of what's happened and what can be done going forward
  4. All they will say is wait till 12 month mark. They simply won't say anything else so you got no choice but to wait.
  5. No reason to be worried . Between 3 and 4 month period this is just when you'll start seeing small sprouting infact on some people it will be barely noticeable I guarantee you at 6 months it will start to look completly different and at 8 months it will be night and day difference.
  6. The great thing is it will continue to sprout what it looks like now and what it will look like by 8 or 9 months will be night and day! I'm just a month behind you hopefully this will plan out well for both of us
  7. Have had ht at asmed and no the robot is part of the pre surgery planning and not done after surgery at any point.
  8. Yes I completely agree with you. That's something he has taken his eye off in the past few years. Also realise that if you do need to go back it won't be as big a session as you had first time. Believe me I know exactly how you feel I'm a month behind you and I do get those negative thoughts in my head too but just remember if it looks this good bow and you're seeing daily improvements just imagine at 8 months !
  9. If you knew it deep down it shouldn't matter that they said you will need it or not. Im sure you would have still gone through with it either way.Even with me they didn't say I need one again but the dr said if you want the temples done you can do it next time and then we will finish of the top too.. step by step they told me. You're only 4 and half months so right now don't worry about how it is now. Trust the process and wait.
  10. It's not ideal I know but with those characteristics that should always be the long term plan.
  11. Exactly thsts why I'm saying when you go into surgery you always should be prepared for another surgery down the line especially with those characteristics
  12. Don't worry so much. The biggest cosmetic change happans between 6 to 8 months. So far it's as expected. But yes I'm in the same boat as you I have pale skin and black hair. You should also realise that even though you had a lot of grafts you should always be prepared for a second surgery at some point to add density although at the moment it's too early to judge exactly how it will end up. Theres no such thing as 1 and done especially in an area where you had so much baldness before.Short hair like the other guy said will look better going forwards but not so short.
  13. Nearly 3 and half months. Feeling alot of stubble on crown front is slowly sprouting. Won't post any photos until something significant
  14. Looks on course. Don't expect a huge cosmetic difference till at least 6 to 8 months when most of the magic will really kick in. From now till then small sprouting of hairs will occur and different times and in different areas, these will.be very weak at The start but by 6 -8 months it will.be a enough to makes huge difference.
  15. I notice your front didn't shed as much . Same was with me. We are at same stage same surgeon so interesting to see how this develops. This is just the start good times ahead especially around 6 months.
  16. Do you have that stubble sort of feeling on your crown ? In terms of all the transplanted hairs... have they started growing or is all black dots at the moment ?
  17. Melvin I actually think it is a big deal if he has 2 new doctors working there. We have to realise that these new doctors are not assisting in few surgeries going forward but theyre completely assuming the role of Dr erdogan on the few patients they look After. As Dr Erdogan himself said they will draw up the surgical plans etc... Now is that a problem ? Not really however nobody knows anything about these two doctors apart from their names they have no track record. I think it's important for you and other decision makers on this forum to ensure that any future results posted by the clinic must state wheather it was under the control of Dr Erdogan or the other two doctors. And if you remember the screen shot I posted above of 9 surgery rooms, i find it interesting that after this latest Erdogan email that they have deleted this video/picture from their Instagram account.
  18. Why is nobody commenting on Dr Erdogan's statement ? He's finally reached out ....
  19. Hi Melvin. When i went there in October my coordinator told me they do 6 patients a day (although on my first day there wasn't more than 3) this is confirmed this is what they do. Now this was before the new larger clinic was opened with more surgery rooms. IF you scroll up and see the screen shot I took of Asmed's instagram video daily video feed you can see the screens of 9 different operating rooms where 7 were in use. This is not hearsay this is fact and you can see that screen shot. Now does that mean he will produce bad results? Not necessarily but it is a high risk strategy going forwards I will be very intrigued how 2019 will go for them and I would say to anyone considering Asmed to watch this space, bide your time and see how this approach works before pulling the trigger -that is just common sense.
  20. Very similar stage to mine where everything has shed long ago and nothing much happans now , this is the hardest stage by the start of month 4 you should see alot more sprouting don't worry about the bad reviews it's only a very small amount of people who have complaints on here when you compare to good results.
  21. He has good results regardless of how short his consultation is. Don't worry you only 3 months this is just the start of sprouting trust me in a month you will see a big difference in the amount if spouting. Everything will sprout at different times.
  22. I put a screen shot of the big screen above as you can see. Whether people are comfortable with this or not is up to them but it's important for them to know facts so that they don't complain later. My surgery was before they moved to the new one.
  23. I'm an asmed patient too. Yes my co ordinator confirmed to me when I was there it's 6 patients per day however my first day it was 3 second was 6. Now they have a new clinic and more surgery rooms. Infact if you go to their intstagram they have a video story where they show the big screen where Dr Erdogan views all surgeries. The big screen had 9 different surgery rooms and 2 of them were not being used meaning at that point there was 7 surgeries you could see going on.
