  1. Dr. K this result is nothing less than remarkable. I would think that the thickness and size of scare would cause limited results at best? You never seem to amaze me.
  2. Spanker, what do you mean when you say, “I would preferred some temple recession if I was 60”? I’m 65 and have a procedure with Dr. K coming up. Thanks
  3. I’ve meet with Dr. K three times because of complications (scalp issues). I had two other HT’s, in past, with low yield results. Had issues with scaring from a plug HT in the 70’s and late stage LLP. Worked with Dr. K in finding a hair Dermatologist specialist in California, that has helped through issues. Now booked a session with Dr. K for May next year. I know that he has a waiting list, but it was my decision to book so far out due to a scalp surgery that is still healing and I just don’t want to go to Chicago in winter. It’s been a long venture, but Dr. K has been there every step of the way. He is as good as everyone says he is.
  4. I’ve had a procedure with Ron Shapiro but results were not achieved, but it was not his fault. I’ve been working through scalp issues, with Dr. Konior for the last 2 years. He pointed me in the direction of a great dermatologist, on the West Coast, that specialized in hair loss. I worked with her for the next two years. I made trips back to Chicago for Dr Konior opinion on progress. I’m happy to say that this week I’ve booked a procedure with Dr. Konior. What I’m trying to say, is he didn’t have to put up with me over this period, not knowing whether or not I could ever receive a procedure, but he did. He is everything good about his profession and I have faith that he will do everything possible to get it right. Getting to know him over this period, I know that he doesn’t take his patient’s results lightly.
  5. For independent purposes, find a hair loss dermatologist that doesn’t preform hair transplants.
  6. That’s great that the doctor’s office is now working with you. After looking at your pictures it appears that you have redness that could be caused by a sensitive skin issue. Before you do anything, seek out a dermatologist that specialize in hair loss to evaluate. Do it for your on piece of mine. Good luck.
  7. I’m 65 years old and booked Dr. K for May 2019. Will not see full results until 2020. You young guys need to understand patience. He’s worth the wait to me.
  8. The moral of my story is that it’s not always just transplanting hair and they survive. Some of us have complications that have extended complications and “need” professional follow up. Talk about depressing, have 1,500 grafts transplanted where half don’t survive. With limited donor grafts, one needs to be careful on increasing odds of success.
  9. Obviously you did not take the time to read my profile history. I’ve had to bring scalp issues under control. Not everyone is perfect like you.
  10. Based on my experiences, in my profile, I’v been consulting with Dr. K for over 2 years. Been to Chicago 3 times from California for consultation and never been charged a cent by Dr. K. This doesn’t include the multiple emails that he has had to responded to. It’s been a long journey, but have finally booked procedure for May 2019 with Dr. K. If you read my history, 2 years to get results is nothing. Dr. K is the man, and in my opinion no other doctor comes even close.
