  1. I think you should consult with your doctor before using any shampoo, your doctor is the only person who can recommend you the best product after reviewing your hair. Dont buy any false project. Consult with your doctor.

  3. PRP does NOT damage existing hair follicles - it does the exact opposite by stimulating them. PRP has been shown to decrease shedding and increase hair shaft. Be sure to consult with a hair expert. Best of luck!
  4. I agree with all the above comments, it is very hard to say, how many grafts you need exactly. I totally agree with Bill " It’s hard enough with photos and shorthair, but long hair makes it even harder to tell" I think you need to visit a good hair transplant surgeon in your nearby areas. Hope this helps!
  5. The use of finesteride is important for preventing further hair loss, not necessarily preventing shock loss. You don't HAVE to take it, but it would be highly recommended to try and keep what you have! If you're fortunate to have a very dense "donor" area on the back of your head and you knew that you were only going to lose a little hair, it wouldn't be a big deal. But it's hard to predict the future. The side effects of the medications are generally rare and and reversible if you stop the medication. Anything less than the 1mg a day dose is probably
  6. Hi I dont have any experience of this, but as a health background i can tell you the relation between the esterol and Hair growth. Estrogen is not the only hormone that comes into play in menopausal hair loss. Androgens, or male hormones, often increase as estrogen levels decrease. This causes androgenic alopecia, another form of hair loss. An androgen known as dihydrotestosterone (DHT) appears to bind to hair follicles and force them to go into their "resting" phases, or telogen, sooner than normal, causing the new hairs to grow ever thinner with each cycle of hair growth. Testosterone also shrinks hair follicles, causing hair loss on the head but a greater production of facial hair. It is not only hormones that can cause a decrease in hair production during menopause; there are also several other causes that can lead to hair loss. Keep reading to learn more about other less common causes of hair loss. Hormone Replacement Therapy Taking estrogen supplements as part of a hormone replacement therapy regime has its effects on your hair as well. Women can treat a type of hair loss called androgenic alopecia, associated with low estrogen and progesterone, by replacing these hormones artificially. Dosages of synthetic estrogen should be monitored regularly -- abnormal hair growth is a possible side effect of one kind of hormone replacement therapy, called esterified estrogens. Hope this helps!
  7. This is a complex question, but I'll share some things we know so far. This is a complex question, but I'll share some things we know so far. First off, topical finasteride is not FDA approved for hair loss. Any use is off label. I'm going to limit all discussions here to men as use in women is not FDA approved. Is topical finasteride safer? Does it get absorbed? Well, it ALL comes down to the dose. Yes, it gets absorbed into the blood and yes it lowers DHT levels. 1% finasteride topical solution is going to have different effects than an 8 % solution. 0.25 % finasteride is going to be different yet! If I were to make up 0.0000000001% finasteride topical solution, it would likely be quite safe with little if an absorption. However, it probably wouldn't do anything for patients with hair loss. So it comes down to dose. One should not talk about topical finasteride unless they are prepared to talk about the dose So let's talk about what we do know. A study of 0.25 % topical finasteride reduced DHT levels to the same amount as standard 1 mg finasteride. We don't yet have any data to know if this translates into it working just as good, worse or better. What about side effects? We don't know that either. If sexual performance and mood levels are related to DHT then it's pretty likely that lots of men using topical finasteride would be expected to have side effects too. These studies have not been done and we don't know. For hair loss in men, it appears that it comes down to inhibiting DHT. Inhibit it more and you'll get a better outcome for hair loss and you'll get more side effects too Topical finasteride gets into the blood and inhibits DHT. Side effects are possible. We need to be very careful assuming topical means safer. The scalp is a wonderful way to get drugs into the body. 8. HI I am total agree with the @pkipling comments but we can not ignore the side effects of any medications. I am not a professional and No one, on this forum, other than MAYBE a doctor will be able to tell you with any level of accuracy, what MAY work for you. "See a doctor": Hope this Helps!
  9. well, i dont know much on the subject but Propecia is a DHT inhibitor and i believe that would be bad for a beard. head hair doesnt like dht but facial hair does. If you want to more dig in DHT, DHT stimulates beard growth, blocking DHT (with finasteride) would tend to inhibit its growth. In practice, this does not seem to be the case, i.e. we don’t find that Propecia has any effect on facial hair. The reason is not clear. It is interesting to note that testosterone stimulates growth of axillary and pubic hair, but not scalp hair. Scalp hair growth is not androgen dependent, only scalp hair loss is. DHT stimulates terminal hair growth of the beard, trunk and limbs, external ears and nostrils. Of course, it also is responsible for the bitemporal reshaping of hairline as one passes into adulthood and causes male patterned baldness (androgenetic alopecia). Hope this helps
  10. HI Did you consult with another Hair Transplant Surgeon about this? The work is horrible. Consult with a nearby recommended doctor. No one, on this forum, other than MAYBE a doctor will be able to tell you with any level of accuracy, what MAY work for you. See a doctor. Hope this Helps
  11. Sorry, i can not help you in this because i am not from Turkey. But i can help you, how can you choose a best surgeon for you. I had a HT surgery 5 years ago and the results are unbelievable. I am from India and let me tell you how i did my research --. There are many different factors that are important when picking a clinic and we have covered them here for you. Do they offer a consultation before treatment? Finding a clinic that offers a no obligation consultation before your treatment will allow you to find out exactly what is causing your hair loss and find the perfect treatment for you. Do they offer the treatment you need? There are different types of treatments that can help with different causes and stages of hair loss. It is important to find a hair transplant clinic that offers the best treatment for you. How much experience does the physician have? Does the clinic specialise in any treatments? Finding a clinic that specialises in one particular treatment highlights how they could be leaders in the field of this technology. Does the clinic have before and after photos? A reputable hair transplant clinic should have a gallery of before and after photos to highlight the great work achieved at the clinic. Being able to look through a variety of different before and after photos gives you the opportunity to see how well the clinic can get results, and how frequently. If your doctor will fit in these points then go for it. Hope this helps.

Complication and risk of hair transplants- Consult with the doctor and the previous patient that already undergo hair transplant surgery. 6.
