Ok just scrolled through all 90 pages I got these screenshots to show wong since he asked about what Dr Barghouthi results were so far. From what I read it appears the second trial happened about 6 months ago so we are still waiting on updates for that one over the next 6 months and the third just began. Hopefully this is enough to perk wongs interest and we can do another trial from Wong on me this December. I’m getting lower on donor so I would want it injected everywhere. Haha

Are you talking about the video with Dr visage where they discussed the photo? Based on that it seems he was suggesting there’s too much noise in the signal to noise to really attribute that picture to verterporfin and then the trial by Stanford was done on mice

Im talking to Dr Wong now about potentially running a trial on me for my touch up procedure using verteporfin. He asked me if Dr Barghouthi has seen positive results so I mentioned the trial just began with the surgery a couple weeks ago or something and we will be waiting to see preliminary regeneration around 3-6 months post op. i believe there were other trials that were mentioned in this thread where doctors showed positive regeneration? is anyone able to refer me to those links so I can share with Dr Wong? It would be great if we could get him interested in performing a trial on me as well

I would say so this is after dutasteride 50-65% of days along with hair transplant in hairline and a 300 grafts in the crown so the most noticeable affect of dutasteride regrowth has been in the outer borders of mid scalp. For my next surgery I plan to focus on grafts inside the red section

I haven’t particularly noticed small breakage but I do get shedding sometimes

Yeah, was only the extraction density measured or was the total follicle density before or after also measured too? in order to calculate regeneration rate we would need at least the before or after absolute follicle density too so then we can compare to the follicle density 3, 6, 9 months from now and see how much of the extracted density was regenerated.

Do we expect 6-12 months in order to asses regeneration of those follicles? Similar to regular hair transplant results

Were there any quantitative measurements of hairs/cm^2 before and after extraction so that new measurements can be taken after it has had time to regenerate or not so we can measure explicitly regeneration amounts?

Googling said the dermal papilla is in the uppermost layer of skin and if xyon gets into the skin it’s probably a safe bet it gets around the dermal papilla

Wouldn’t you not be getting enough of a dosage that way? Considering leaving it in for 8 hours on a single day is enough for that days dose to get in there. It would start decreasing at the regular half life after that and ready for another dose the next or second next day

I’ve booked a 1500 grafts follow up procedure with Wong for 12/19 of this year plan is to reinforce hairline/behind hairline, crown, and maybe some mid scalp

Maybe I can see if Wong would be willing to experiment on me with it since I had a successful surgery with him already and he has approved me for another surgery and knows I am getting lower on donor

I’m starting to get on the lower end of donor but really wanted to get a touch up surgery with wong to reinforce visible scalp in my hairline and crown around December but now I am wondering if I should wait until we know this drug actually regenerates hair that can be used again for another transplant and then go to a surgeon that will use the drug on me.

Whoops my bad yeah i got the number mixed up. I had a brain fart. I had the number 130 in my head cuz that’s the monthly cost for dutasteride, not the entire bottle which is $390 or so I believe.
