  1. I just wanted to share my experience of my hair transplant with Dr. Carlos Wesley as I highly recommend his clinic. I had my transplant about 2 months ago now and this was my second transplant after one more than a decade ago at a different clinic had left me with less than satisfactory results. The difference in experience between my first transplant and my recent one was like night and day. Dr. Wesley provided a consult beforehand in which he answered my questions authoritatively without being patronizing and his recommendations were realistic and encouraging. It's immediately clear that he's a real expert in this field and he's also an extremely nice guy. There was no hard sales approach at all and even though I took more than a year between that appointment and deciding to go through with the transplant, there were no salesy follow-up calls. As for the actual procedure, this began with a regimen of things to do in the week or so leading up to the operation to improve transplant success. This was not a part of my first transplant and I appreciate the attention to maximizing results - as I'm sure many will agree, every hair counts! On the day of the procedure, everything went perfectly. The staff are all wonderful - very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I was very comfortable throughout the whole procedure and felt absolutely no pain. The post-procedure attention was also excellent. I came in the next day for Dr. Wesley to check that nothing had dislodged during the night. There was also a regimen of things to do in the next two weeks to further maximize transplant success (again, these were not a part of my first transplant elsewhere, and I wish they had been). I've since been back several times for further check-ups, which is great. I don't know about others but I sometimes worry that I might have done something to endanger my transplants inadvertently through normal daily living, so it's very reassuring to have these check-ins to be sure all is going according to plan. At about one and a half months, I'm starting to see the very fine hairs coming through and am excited to see the transformation beginning. My only regret now is that I hadn't gone through with it earlier. At first, I'd been on the fence about cost. But the more I thought about it, this shouldn't have been the obstacle for me that it was - I work in the pharmaceutical field and commonly work on writing surgical projects and can see that Dr. Wesley has a solid history of publishing his research and innovations, marking him as a real leader in the field. You also have to remember that your hair is something you are going to wear every day for the rest of your life. And what price can you put on having your confidence restored for life. I'm exceptionally satisfied with my experience at Dr. Wesley's clinic and sincerely recommend him to others. I'll be posting my "before" shot a little later on, when there's been enough time to compare it with an "after" shot.
