  1. ****8 month update ***** Here is my 8 month update. I am very happy with result so far. I usually keep a tight 1-zero blade fade at back and sides but have let it grow out for few weeks so I can show donor area recovery. Thanks Mick
  2. So if a full refund isn't enough what would you recommend he does?? Spend 1000s of pounds dragging Yaman thru the courts or get him to fix it free of charge??
  3. The reason your donor didn't recover is due to the dense black course hair you have. I got 4500 grafts done from Yaman and I couldn't be happier. My donor area doesn't even look like it was touched. Unfortunate for you that your hair didn't recover well from the transplant. Maybe you can get some grafts from bottom of donor area and move them up to try fill in damaged donor. Having cosmetic surgery is always gonna be a gamble. I see Yaman gave you a full refund . maybe use this to fill in the donor area that looks patchy.
  4. That may be true, but Yaman doesn't deserve the bad comments since from the start he held his hand up and offered to rectify this problem few months back. It looks like Chev has now gone back and received a 2nd HT with a 10/10 rating.
  5. I agree, but making TWO threads to slate the surgeon is unfair. As I said he should revert back to his original thread and keep ppl updated on how the surgeon has rectified the situation. Don't forget, Chev is only 11-12 months post op. it can take up to 18 months for full results.
  6. You should delete this thread. Very unfair treatment of the surgeon here. You should revert back to your original thread and keep ppl updated on how the surgeon has rectified the poor results you got. You may be just unlucky that the HT just didn't work out for you or you might just be a very late grower as you have 6 more months of growing and thickening left.
  7. Defo sounds like a late shed of transplanted hairs that never fell out from Day 10 onwards!! Hopefully you should see some good growth in the next month or two.
  8. Looking good!!! Early growth. I'd say by month 9 you will be one happy man. I'm on week 9. Didn't loose all my grafts. So I'm expecting nice early growth in month or so. Happy growing.
  9. ***Update - Day 64 *** Hi, Just giving a little update. I am presuming all of my shedding has finished a couple weeks ago due to the fact that I don't have any hairs in my hands when I wash my hair. I reckon I only shed about 70% of my grafts. I am hoping this is a good thing. I am attaching some pictures of how I look now. Waiting patiently for some new growth which I hope will start in the next 2/3 months. Any questions I will be glad to answer. Thanks Mick
  10. Looks muuuuuch better Chev. Another couple of months more and it will look even better. I hope all you people who slated Dr Yaman in this thread eat your words now. I had a great experience with him.
  11. Shurikan - which doctor did you end up going with? If you were considering Dr Yaman I highly doubt you ended up with Erdogen as there is a huge price difference. Dr Yaman is a recommended doctor here and has produced great results. Unfortunately this case didn't end up good but we don't know if this over harvest or shock loss. He needs to post more pics of pre and post surgery of donor area. Don't be quick to make decision on a bad case. If you dig deep enough you will find a bad case on every single doctor.
  12. Hi nic, My instructions were I can use a clippers on donor area after 15 days. The barber went a bit heavy with the clippers and could feel a little tenderness still. But fine. No visible scarring at all. Follow ur surgeons advice though. How has ur donor healed up? A light buzz prob won't do much harm. Maybe ask ur doctor and see what he says.
  13. Ya I will take a higher definition today or tomorrow!! Cheers
  14. ***Update Day 15** Got first barber cut yesterday before the shed takes full effect. Short back and sides with a fade. No visible scarring from FUE.
  15. Same to you Matty. Will keep an eye on your progress .
  16. Hi lukeyb Many thanks for kudos! Ye I had quit severe pain for 2-3 days then moderate to light pain for another 2 days. All good now though, I get the odd little stinging pain now n again but nothing too bad. Yep i m expecting the shed any week now to be more noticeable. Your pics look great too. Happy growing. Thanks Mick
  17. Thanks very much! I didn't have any redness I'm donor area for the first 5 days. But once the hair started to grow back I had little redness for 3 days. What I did have though was very sore nerve pain for approx 4 days. This began 4th day post op when the anaesthetic wore off in donor area. Pain post FUE is not very common but can happen as the nerves that have gone through trauma begin to repair. Took plenty of painkillers and also took vitamin b complex. Any other questions I'll be glad to answer. Thanks Mick
  18. ****Day 9 - Update***** Scabs 95% gone, shed beginning. Have good few hairs in my hand after washing . washing twice a day since yesterday to clear remaining scabs and crust. Thanks Mick
  19. Maybe from the side view it looks a bit low but he could be frowning which makes it look lower. I think the front on view looks good. Anyway would like an update from him. There seems to be an awful lot of reviews started and then they seem to give up and never post again. Its pretty annoying.
  20. What do you mean aggressive? Absolutely nothing wrong with the hairline.
  21. Hello, I finally took the plunge and went for my HT choosing Dr. Yaman in Istanbul, Turkey. My experience was very good and went exactly as previous reviews have mentioned on here. Arrived wed 20th and collected by a driver and brought to 5* Divan Suite hotel. Rested up and next morning at 11am brought to Dr yamans clinic. Here I was greeted by Fikret and had blood tests which check for any diseases and also for PRP. I had consultation next with Dr Yaman and the graft amounts agreed and surgery began about 12.45pm. I won't get into too much detail but surgery took approx 9hours with a 20 min break at 6.00pm. Dr Yaman performed PRP and opened all channels. Technicians performed extractions and placements of graphs with Dr Yaman checking in. I was taken back to hotel and ate some food and rested up. I slept using a travel pillow which is given to you . next morning I was brought back to clinic where I had bandages removed and had first wash. I asked my questions and was given my medication to use for the next 7-10 days. I am currently on day 5. I am posting images of how my hair was pretty operation and also post surgery pictures which are stamped with the day post surgery. I have also included 3 images showing my donor area day 4 post op. I am currently taken 0.6mg finestriade every 3 days as I am very paranoid over sides. I bought this from the clinic. So will see how I get on with it for few months. I'm also taking Xpecia tablets x2 a day for past 5 weeks and vitamins. Any questions I will answer and any comments I greatly appreciate. Thank you Mick
  22. Also the use of your words "someone else" highlights your need to do a lot more research. Techs are vital in HT surgeries and should get the recognition they deserve.
  23. Channels should be opened by the doctor, there are fantastic technicians working in some of the top clinics in turkey who do the extractions and placement of the graphs. It would be very difficult to get a doctor to sit for 8 hours opening channels, performing extractions and placements without the help of techs. Choose a reputable clinic and you will be in good hands.
