Looking good, the redness is there but it's quite light I wouldn't notice it if I wasn't looking for it or aware of HTs. Can't wait to see this in a months time!

@Haircutislife - They only take up to a certain amount (I think it's Euro 3000) via wire/bank transfer as a deposit, rest has to be cash. The driver will take you to your hotel or the clinic if you're staying there and will also return you to the airport before your flight. I stayed at the hotel and they'd let me know what time I needed to be in the lobby, worked well. Good luck with the HT!

Thanks, HG1, yeah at 8 Days currently, so badly want to pick at the scabs I had 5200 with around 3000 in the bank, hoping I don't need to come in again but who knows, might get hit with a case of 'hair greed' or maybe the grafts won't come through in places. It certainly looks great from here, I'd have no problem rocking that outside! Haha yeah, it's not cheap, certainly doesn't help with the ? being weak.

Barely see any redness in those pics, the last one shows a bit but that could be the camera exposure. Looks completely normal, like a standard buzz cut! My swelling has gone completely just waiting on the scabs now. My recipient area is still numb, I don't really mind it too much, I think that will take months before the feeling returns to our heads. Keep the updates coming, HG1, always good to read them.

I'm on Day 4, general face swelling has almost gone but still got slightly puffy eyes, it's a lot less than the day before so I'm no longer worried as it's shifting at last! Right now sleeping is slightly frustrating since I'm a side sleeper and lying on my back just seems odd. Overall it's going fine and I think the redness is going, I know for some people it can take years to fade so hoping it'll be gone in a few weeks or months. That's lucky there was someone with you who had an HT too, I was alone in the waiting lounge with my massive face for all to see lol. Your new hairline looks awesome and seems you'll get a boost to your crown and mid-scalp should look great once it's all come through.

Your head is looking great and redness looks to be disappearing quickly too! I appreciate these updates as it's good to know what's to be expected and pick up some tips here and there. Funny you mention that you got home before the swelling, I left as soon as I could too but the crazy swelling hit me just as I got to the airport, I could see people staring but dealt with it okay, I think the whole trip was an exercise in not caring too much. I currently look like I've been boxing badly what with my eyes being puffy and my forehead/cheeks inflated! Has your swelling completely gone down now?

Agreed, that coverage is fantastic also that 'zig-zagging' hairline design really looks natural, I wonder if other clinics will adopt that.

Great write up and congrats on getting it done! Sounds like you're happy with the new hairline design. Ha I'm trying to keep the HT a secret too, going to be telling everyone I got an infection of sorts.

@ HG1 - 31st and 1st, no better time for an HT than Halloween! I've been recommended to go for 5000, I'm a norwood 2 with a lot of diffusing hair so it makes sense. Wish you luck with your transplant! @prefertoremainanonymous - Yeah 10 days is normal, check out OFX, they should be cheaper than your bank as they don't charge a fee.

Sort of related but what's the best place to get a large quantity of Euro cash? I don't believe OFX/XE etc will send actual cash to you.

Looks a lot denser, that's crazy for 2 months! A whole year or more is such a long time and I bet it goes even slower when you're checking the mirror constantly, truly a test of patience.

Thanks for such a great report, I'm heading off to ASMED end of October so it's good to read about the experience you had in such detail. Your new hairline is looking great, it's going to come out amazing. Hopefully, cloning will work not just off of head hair but body too!
