  1. I would also like to hear about any shampoos people would recommend? Im 7 months post op and would love to hear what people use on a daily basis.
  2. Recovery is going well thanks mate. The hardest part is not touching my grafts, they are so itchy sometimes and I always used to play with my hair. The redness of my donor area has nearly all gone which i'm really happy with. I only had a tiny bit of swelling which wasn't that noticeable. I think you saw the extent of my swelling. Can't wait to have all the scabs off and be able to sleep normally. Also i'm looking forward to getting rid of this itchy / tingly feeling in my recipient area.
  3. Hey Nath, Seems like yesterday we were in the taxi on the way back from the clinic, glad to see that your redness has gone down so quickly and that you didn't suffer from too much swelling like our scottish friend! I know you were a bit worried about one side being slightly different from the other, have you noticed it evening out yet?
  4. Thanks Rwethereyet! I'm planning on wearing a cap during the day and then if anyone asks about the redness I was planning on saying that i'm slightly burnt! Im only a month away from my HT now! Crazy how fast it's gone. The only issue i'm worried about is carrying the cash from the UK to the surgery. I'm having 5000 grafts so will be carrying around 10k. Also does anyone have any tips for the best place to get this cash exchanged?
  5. Hi Rwethereyet, I'm booked in to go travelling 4 weeks after my surgery for 6 months, how have you been finding it? Are you travelling somewhere hot? I'm a bit worried about the sun, obviously I will be wearing a hat most of the day but was wondering if you had any tips for this?
  6. Hey Nathd91, Im flying on the 31st from the UK, my surgery is 1st-2nd. I'm sure ill see you at the Radisson!
  7. Hi Shanson, I just sent you a message regarding my concerns with money and flying
  8. I'm having 5000 so there's no doubt i will look like Quasimodo. I'm staying in Istanbul for a few days after the surgery so i'm hoping with a lot of ice that the swelling will mostly gone. I've got a bucket hat that i'm going to take with me and will ask Dr. Erdogan if he thinks that it will be safe to fly in it. I'm booked in for the 1st November! Not long to go, still doesn't feel like its happening!
  9. Hey HG1, I sent mine off last month and it took about a week for Sevinc to get back to me and confirm they had received it, i wouldnt worry too much.
  10. Hey JeanLucBergman, How are you getting on? We've got similar loss and hair colour and i've booked in to have my HT at Asmed in November. Looking forward to seeing how you progress.
