  1. Thank you for your insight, much appreciated. Seeing as how I am young and have alot of hair remaining to lose, it would make sense to get on meds. However the potential effects of finasteride (although unlikely) are still not worth it for me, i'd rather be bald and shave my head. I'm still too young for a hair transplant, maybe there will be less risky meds in the future, potentially taking topical finasteride but I'm still very skeptical on even that.
  2. This is a question for those who didn't take medications such as finasteride and minoxidil. Did your FUE transplant affect your hairloss in other parts of your scalp, was it accelerated? what was your experience? Thanks
  3. Hey everyone, i'm a 23 year old male that has been considering an fue procedure for the last year. I would consider myself a norwood 2, very minimal recession at my crown, but significant recession in my temple/frontal region. The thing that is deterring me from an FUE procedure is the "shock loss" that can occur in the regions of my scalp that have not undergone a hair transplant.. i'm concerned that an FUE procedure would accelerate my hair loss within regions of my scalp that have shown minimal signage of hair loss. I am not willing to take finasteride, so here is my question: Is there a good chance I will lose hair faster due to an FUE procedure? Thanks
