  1. TR3B, yes they took the liquids (4 saline bottles) and the syringes. (Bhatti likes to use sterile syringes to pierce the saline bottles caps. This makes a good stream for wetting/washing the grafts and I guess it doesn't use up all the saline in one shot.) Its funny because in Chandigarh and Delhi the carry-on passed all scanners and inspections without a problem this was in AbuDhabi. And yes I showed them the Dr notes. It all turned out good through. My last leg was Abu Dhabi to JFK. Well I missed that flight due to delays from Delhi. That put in a hotel in Abu Dhabi for the night. Not sure if I would ever see my luggage again if it was checked lol.
  2. Dr Bahtti lays it all out in a YouTube video. I left his office with a darling buds bookbag loaded with meds, ointments, gauzes, saline, syringes.... For whoever goes to darling buds don't be an idiot like me and forget to check said bag. The look on security's face was priceless.
  3. Eddie I've had 2 FUT and always shed most if not all hairs. 30 days ago I had my first FUE with Dr Bhatti and I don't believe a single hair has fallen out. Not sure if this was something to do with FUE or with his post care regimen. (His post care course is like a part time job but its obviously effective and I wish I put half of the effort into my past FUTs.)
  4. My first FUT was a regular old closure by a mediocre dr not in the coalition and it ended up looking okay. My second FUT was a trichophytic closure done by great dr and I ended up with a 1 cm scar. The reason being was post op care and infections. I'm interested in having another done only next time I'm going to treat the sutures like a new born baby and not a punching bag.
  5. Looking good Niko. It looks as though you went from 50% to 90% in 2 months. Congrats.
  6. Hey cheetoman, I see no one helped you out. I hope you're still around. The thickest part of my scar measures 1cm as well. The rest is probably around 0.5-.07cm. Unfortunately this is post scar revision. I had a very competent doctor perform the FUT then the revision, but I just didn't heal well. I believe my results were mostly self-inflicted. I just didn't care for my sutures post ops like I should've. My biggest problem was infection. I didn't refrain from normal activities long enough. I will even mention the stuff I did out of shame. Maybe I will who knows. This was 6-7 years ago. I was also worried about more surgery (and finance). But I realized its too late for that. The damage is done now I have to do everything I can to fix things. Even if that means going under the blade again. Which I did 10 days ago. I had an FUE from scalp and beard. This was not for scar work but for crown. The donor area is healing up real nicely. Under the chin is still a little red/pinkish, but that will fade. Next is another scar revision. There is no way I'm going through the rest of my life with that giant strip of skin. I will try once again and have it removed. Only this time I will be the perfect patient post ops. Once thats healed I will think about another FUE and or SMP for the scar.
  7. This thread was going great. Great results for Hariri with a tons of information. I hope he continues to post.
  8. I'm having some major problems myself. I just started taking 1mg every day and all of sudden my core temperature has dropped. I've alway been a steady 98.7deg and haven't been sick in years. Now I'm shivering in a room thats set to 85deg with a core temp of 97deg.
  9. hey husqvarnawrk, Just had my FUE this past saturday with Dr Bhatti. I also did a crown fill with some hairline as well. I will make a thread about this soon. Good luck with growth, keep us posted.
  10. Very good progress GaelicDawn congrats. Im hoping to see more pictures in the coming months. One question and I appologize if you've mentioned this already, but did you have any facial swelling after the procedure? Its something thats normal with FUTs but Im not sure with FUEs thx
  11. Keep us posted trinath, I'm very interested in your results. Thanks
  12. Lets not forget the original one and only Telly Savales.
  13. Looks like you're on your way to a full head of hair. Are you going to post pictures of your last two HTs? I envy your attitude about never looking back.
  14. Wouldn't the extra weight of the long hair be a problem or less than ideal for a freshly place follicle ?
  15. Hey bishal, IMO, If you go with a strip you might not be able to keep your hair so short. I think the scar would show through. If you like your hair short go with FUEs otherwise if I were you I would let my hair grow a bit and get a strip.
  16. That might be the best hairline I've ever seen. Especially for the amount of grafts used.
  17. I agree it doesn't look ideal but I would still like to see his hair dry and not clumped together. But yeah for FUEs why take a chance? go with Shapiro, Feller, Lindsey..
  18. Don't know anything about Choi implanter, but from the initial picture of the clip to me the left side (his right) looks straight because of the way its styled. In the other shots the density looks weak because a)his hair looks wet b)the way its combed back c)its only 1500 What doesn't look good to me and its a common problem with hairlines or any HT is the thickness of the hairs at the base. In a natural hairline the hairs seem to almost float a few cm from the skin.
  19. magicaltimes, Things look real good, I would love to see 3 and 12 month updates when you get there. Its funny cause your preop head looks very similiar to mine, as well as hair placement and graft number.
  20. Exactly! When I was in the Army people wasn't too harsh to my face but behind my back I was known as the "crazy scar guy". Right after that first group buzz cut everyone sees in the movies, guys made comments like " damn that is one nice size cut you have there", " don't worry we'll get used it". During a marching drill I stumbled a right turn and the drill sgt yelled out " I guess that brain surgery didn't help you huh?". We do indeed live in a tough world and yes I did survived, but was it worth the humiliation and the half dozen fist fights? LoL that's a joke. What I wanted at the time of the first HT is not what i wanted down the road. And like having kids this decision cannot be reversed.
  21. Christopher actually I tried propecia for about 1 month and my sex life died. I remember hearing about Propecia in 1998 and tried it in 2002.
  22. Oh Christopher you sound exactly like me 12 years ago. Just before my first ht I shaved my head to see how I felt. I didn't really like it and others hated it. Shortly after my first ht believe it or not I enlisted in the Armed Forces. There I told every one the craziest stories. They believed me but my self conscious state of mind went through the roof. It drove me nuts when others stood behind me in lines. No one ever disrespected me because people were never the problem it was me, it was all in my head from the very beginning. I gave up a beautifully shaved head for something a million times worst. Well 2 surgeries later I'm still trying to correct the problem, and after my next one I should be okay. Go with your gut feelings on this and know what you're getting into.
  23. Yep, Im a big fan of JR the guy wears his thoughts on his sleeves. Smart, articulate, and flawed like the rest of us. Gotta love the guy.
  24. Sounds like you made a wise and very personal decision. Good luck to you.
