I'm confused, was this comment directed at me? You're repeating exactly what I already said. To quote myself:

Can those sites actually prescribe the meds though? I thought they were just online pharmacies/ways to get a discount on meds. I am in the USA Thanks, can you explain the fee that the HT clinic is charging you? For example, did they require you to have an appointment with the doctor (and of course that would have a fee) or are you saying they are charging you a fee for actually writing the prescription? Hi everyone, I had used Oral Minoxidil for a couple years with great results. I was initially on 2.5MG but eventually decided to drop the dosage to 1.25MG and found I had great results with both dosages. The local doctor (PCP) that had been writing the Rx for me recently moved to a different part of the country and I have not been able to find a replacement doctor willing to refill my Rx. So I had a couple questions: 1. Are there any HT doctors that are willing to do e-visits and write a Rx? 2. For those of you that are taking oral minoxidil who/how did you get the prescription? It's a frustrating waste of time and money for me to go doctor-hunting and schedule appointments with 10 different doctors to find the one guy that is willing to write the Rx. I also don't want to constantly be in and out of doctors offices for obvious reasons (COVID-19). Thanks!

Who was the first doc with only 10% growth? Did you get a refund?

if all your native hairs have already shed then what is the point of doubling the dosage? is hasson trying to strengthen your donor? where do you live? is there a coalition doc near you that you could see to determine if the remaining hair on your head is transplanted or native? what'd hasson say about the scar placement?

I meant to ask you, what's your regimen with the dutasteride/finasteride? Any increase in sides or other issues with the Dut?

already looked pretty dense in the pre-op photos. should be a knockout once it grows in. so how many grafts total in frontal third at this point?

Ok I think it was just an issue with the website when I happened to be looking at your photos a few days ago. Seems to be working fine now. I was having trouble finding the professional quality photos that Cooley takes the morning of surgery (in the consultation room). Did you post those somewhere in your thread? I would love to see those side by side next to your final 13 month photos if you have any recent ones.

I've spent a lot of time on the H&W website and as far as i am aware there is nowhere near "thousands of results" In fact I just went to the website out of curiosity and found approximately 64 photo before and afters and 225 video before and afters. So that's a total of approximately 300 results (if we assume there is no overlap between the guys in the photos and the guys in the videos). Can you show us where you found thousands of results on their site? Regardless, I agree with you that UKLad's result is certainly not a homerun at this point, but he's still got time before we should pass final judgement and stress him out.

I think that's a bit harsh for the following reasons: 1. UKLad is just crossing the 8 month mark. Those H&W results are at the 15 and 21 month mark. That is certainly not an apples-to-apples comparison. 2. It would be expected that H&W (just like any doc) is gonna showcase their best results on their website. So these guys probably represent part of the top tier of results. 3. The second guy had more native hair than UKLad. (The first guy is an amazing transformation - especially since it is FUE which we know H&W started doing later than many docs).

Looking great mate, good call including the pre-surgery photos. It's so much easier than having to flip back and forth between first page to compare photos. One more thing that might be helpful is to include an immediate post-op photo in this post so we can see exactly how far back Cooley went when placing grafts.

Don't mess around and risk becoming a repair patient just cuz u wanted to save some money. I was in your shoes for the past 2 years and was super close to going with a cheaper doctor to save some money...ended up deciding against it. If money really is tight then there are some cheaper doctors on this site that may be safer bets. do your homework...

I believe Dr Lorenzo's techs handle the extractions these days (I'm not 100% sure - but that is what I have heard)
