  1. I used to use Pura D'Or but it seemed like I shed a lot more than a shampoo not for hair loss. The past month, I have been using a DHT Blocking shampoo from hairlossdhtshampoo.com. I have only seen a few hairs in the shower each time and it has been adding nice volume. Too early to judge any hair growth benefits. Will update in a few months.
  2. If you are going to order a lasercap, take a look at the one I bought at hairrestorationlaboratories.com. It appears to work the same as Capillus for 1/5 the price. Not sure where they ship to or still sell the model I bought.
  3. Unfortunately, your after picture does look much worse. At this point, I think it is unfortunate to assume that the procedure was a failure. Who is your doctor?
  4. Doctors are notorious for brushing hair pre transplant to create as many parts and apparent scalp as possible. When it comes time to show results, they blow dry it and use a comb to fluff into the best possible position. Pre ht pictures also show more lighting showing the appearance of more scalp.
  5. Who is the doctor? Also, I am reading more and more about fue failures that rarely get reported. Everyone wants to show off on forums massive gains at 4 months. Those who see little to nothing at 6 months are told by the doctor to wait a year to 18 months and rarely have I seen someone showing little results at 6 months miraculously flourish to an appropriate result thereafter. We as a community need a better understanding as to the realites of fue failures and risks.
  6. I will post pictures tomorrow for comments. I have been on finasteride and minoxidil for 5 years. The HT was solely to increase density as I am diffuse. The last thing I expected was to end up thinne after a $10k procedure. At this point, I would be thrilled to just get back to where I was before the procedure.
  7. Thanks. What about still being thinner 4 months out than before the procedure?
  8. Hello. I am hoping the community can ease my concerns. 4.5 months ago, I had an fue procedure. Approximately 2500 grafts in the midscalp area. Procedure was performed by a reputable physician on the west coast. At present, I still cannot see a single transplanted hair coming through and the midscalp is much thinner than before the procedure. I have seen far too many posts of results showing after 3-4 months and getting nervous. I contacted the physician who told me it is too early, disregard the medical miracles who show growth at 3-4 months and do not expect anything until 6 months out. Also, the overall thinning is temporary and will improve. Really looking for some support and to ease my worries that I may just be a slower grower. Please help!
