  1. The result looks fantastic! Good on you for taking the plunge and sharing your experience with us!
  2. I see no scars. I’m confused as to what lengths you are cutting your hair though. What’s a #1 and #2 at the top? 1 and 2 inch you mean?
  3. Would you have pursued transplants if you were a NW6?
  4. How typical do you think your result is, Melvin_Mod? Are you an outlier? Or can the average diffuse NW6 hope for something similar?
  5. What Norwood were you? And would you have proceeded with a transplant if you were a NW6?
  6. Thanks. I should clarify that I’m looking for a place to get it without a prescription.
  7. What are some affordable places to buy propecia - either genuine or generic?
  8. What would you say was your emerging Norwood pattern before the surgery?
  9. He jokingly mentions the possibility of “a rug” here and rubs his head . (at 3:40)
  10. How much did you have to pay for all your transplants total, if you don’t mind me asking? Or how much would one except to pay for that many grafts? Also would a transplant be a better shot for the OP if his crown didn’t dip quite so low?
  11. Do you have a good donor supply? Did you pay in full or on a payment plan? What is the doctor saying about future loss? Are you planning another surgery? Are you being open about the surgery or are you hiding it from coworkers? If so, what was your strategy?
  12. What would be considered high enough? Do sides often slope diagonally (up) towards the crown and (down) towards the hairline?
  13. Well would he have been able to get a decent result through transplants or not? If he can’t get anywhere near full coverage or an illusion of density than he’s better off shaved I guess.
  14. I am diffused all over the top in what I assume is a NW6 pattern. I’m recessed to maybe a 2.5/3 and the frontal third of my scalp is more diffused then the crown and mid scalp. I’m over 40. I almost wish that this weak, diffused hair would just fall out now so I could 1)have a clear understanding of what my final pattern is and 2)so I could do a transplant(s) without shock loss or whatever. I feel like decisions about where to put the hairline etc are really difficult when you have this sickly birds nest in top of your head. How do you know when it’s right to pull the trigger on transplants? I sometimes look at my hair trying to figure out exactly where the crown dips or precisely where the sides are - hoping that both are high enough so that some transplants will give me a decent result. Any advice from diffusers on when the time was right or what the strategy is to proceed?
  15. Sorry if I’ve already asked you this made2care but do you have retrograde alopecia at all?
