  1. Firstly, I would like to say that the photo on the link by Baldguy is the result of this patient’s surgery in the UK. This is why you can see these big follicular groups on the hairline. In addition, the final result of this case was never revealed from the patient. Secondly you can evaluate a Clinic and/or Doctor from his posted results. On the link below, we present HDC’s last 24 posted results in this forum. Idan and other interested patients can see these results and compare them with the corresponding ones from any other doctor. This will make an objective evaluation of doctor quality. Hair Transplants HDC - HDC's message to the Hair Loss Sufferer (hairtransplants-hdc.com)
  2. This is a 30-Year-old Patient from Israel. He wanted to cover as much as possible from his NW scale 5 baldness and to cover the rest of crown with kippa. To achieve this, we had to go to maximum number of grafts to be extracted in two days and we managed to reach 4900 grafts and covered all the front and top area with good density. The other goal of the patient was to leave the donor area looking good and having available grafts for covering the crown. It is now our standard procedures to reach and extent the 5000 grafts in one visit in 2 days and if we can even approach the 6000 Grafts mark, we can add a third day for patient with normal to good donors. The reason why the donor can still look really good is because we have minimized our transection rates and due to spreading extraction equally over the donor area, we do not produce empty areas in the donor. Take a closer look at the donor photo and donor comparison photo, to see how nicely the extradition is spread over the donor. As we said in our previous post in more detail, the result should be evaluated within 3 variables: 1. Naturality of Appearance 2. Adequate Coverage 3. Condition of the Donor It is our advice that in general, to examine the post operation photos to understand the good work done, as sometimes the before and after photos can deceive due to favorable lighting. Hair transplantation is a lifetime decision. You must get it right the first time. It defines your appearance and personality. Don’t Risk it for a few Dollars! Before Immediately after 8 Months after
  3. This is a 46-year-old patient with a NW class 6. He had an average to low donor density with a light brown colour of hair. Initially at the consultation we tried to lower his expectation and explain to the patient that his result will be determined by the quality of his donor. The patient had realistic expectations, and this enabled us to proceed with our plan of 2 surgeries to cover his baldness with expected lower density for the crown. In FUE1 in June 2021 we transplanted 3400 grafts covering the front part of his head as you can see in the photos below. Then as he was satisfied with the result, the patient came for FUE2 in February 2022, where we managed to transplant another 2350 grafts to his crown, making a total of 5750 grafts. Obviously, the result was better than his expectations. He also gave us his consent for posting his result including his face. His class 6 area was not covered with grafts as the patient has some thinning hair that would blend with the transplanted hair of the crown. This Design made it possible for a natural appearance as the hair were placed exactly where needed, given the donor capabilities of the patient. Having said all the above, in our effort to offer useful information to the community of this forum, we would also want to explain the following: A hair transplant result needs to be evaluated in 3 ways. · The first one is obviously the growth of the hair in the recipient area. · The second one is the health of the donor. If the donor ends up depleted with scar tissue and empty areas within the donor, then this is a problem that deprives the patient for future transplants that will be needed as he grows older, and it also looks bad. What we do to avoid this from happening, is that we distribute our punching evenly over the donor and always leaving surrounding hair around the punched follicles. Also, we do not punch deep into the skin thus creating less scarring. By punching deep, it is easier to extract and is the only way to finish a 4000 grafts FUE case in 1 day as it happens with the low-cost clinics. We used 2 days for each session of this patient so that we safeguard his donor and result. See punched area in the photos below. · The third one is the correct plan and design. The hairline must be placed in the correct height according to the age, the NW scale, and the donor of the patient. The density must be distributed in such a way for giving the most natural result and not the thickest result if the case of the patient cannot support high density as it is this case. And finally, the pattern and angle of placing is important for giving naturality and versatility to hair styles. A hair transplant is composed of the medical part but also of the artistry of the Doctor and the medical team that supports her/him. Choose Sure Success for your Hair Transplant. Don’t take a Risk. 4. This is a 31-year-old NW Class 5 patient who wanted to cover all his baldness. Dr Christina and the HDC Medical Team decided to proceed with a two stage Hair Transplant coverage. In 1stFUE to cover the Front area and on the 2nd one to cover the crown. So, 3320 grafts were placed as you can see in the post operation photos with irregular front line and normal distribution of grafts. This is the so-called pattern of placing, and the grafts are distributed in such a way so there are no empty spots or corridors within the transplanted grafts. Important is also the correct angle of placing that makes the hair look natural and you can style it as non-transplanted hair. We also include the donor post op photo, that shows how proportionately the grafts extraction was distributed over the donor area. This is important because you always need to leave healthy hair in between the extracted ones, so that the donor will not look depleted, and it will not look emptier in some areas. It is the difference in density within the donor that makes it look empty. To achieve these grafts extraction, you need care and time, and this is one of the main reasons why this surgery takes 2 days and not 4 hours as in some low-cost Clinics. By the way this patient is coming back this month for also covering his crown Finally, you can see the result in the photos below. Before Immediately after 17 Months after
  5. Hi, obviously the result of the crown is under development. It is common that the crown results take longer to finish than hairline results. The patient will send us an update in the 8th and/or 9th month period and we will update the post.
  6. This is a class 6 patient who wanted to cover all his baldness. This was achievable as he had an average to good donor. We divided his Hair transplant FUE surgery in two sessions. 1stFUE he got 3878 grafts covering up to his top area and the 2ndFUE 2932 grafts for the crown, totalling to 6800 grafts up to the NW Class 6 area. We demonstrate below the before photos, the post op of FUE1, the result of the FUE1, the post op of FUE2 and the result so far after 7 months, which still is expected for further improvement on FUE2 crown area. On covering a class 6 patient you should not expect a very thick result, but you expect adequate coverage with a natural appearance. The donor of the patient still looks good and has room for more grafts to take out if needed in the future. He also has good beard donor if ever needed. As mentioned before the result must me analysed from both the recipient and the donor perspective. 8. We very often get cases like this one. Small hair loss in the hairline and a thin crown. So, this is the perfect example of a result of one of these cases. It was transplanted exactly 2495 grafts to the Front and 1253 grafts to the Crown. You can see how nice the result is. To achieve this, you need: · Dense packing in the front for the transplanted hair to join the existing native hair · Appropriate hairline design and natural hairline sites and placement · Just enough grafts to cover the crown without overspending donor grafts, hence only 1253 were used in this case And of course, a good doctor and a good team to support him / her. 9. This is a 29-year-old patient with thinning hair in the front and relatively thin donor especially on the sides. We had to make the optimum for him and in the end, we ended up with 3050 grafts to cover this area. As you can see Dr Christina maintained the height of his hairline, thus giving less pressure to the donor on future hair transplant needs. Each case must be personalized and offer the patient the best possible design having in mind his future possible hair loss. Natural results over time must be correctly designed with a proactive approach from the beginning so as to avoid repair surgeries later. In this case for example the hair/fu is as follows: Singles 1189, Doubles 1318, Triples 543, which shows the low yield per follicular unit due to below average donor area. Even though, these grafts were distributed with the correct pattern in the recipient area, giving a very good result. The patient is very happy with his result, and he approved to make this post with face. Before Immediately after 7.5 Months after
  10. This is a 39 Year Old patient who had 3170 FUE Grafts with HDC Hair Clinic and Dr Christina being the responsible physician of his case. Before focusing on the result, I would like you to pay attention to the post op photos. We present the back donor, immediately post op and 6 days after surgery. You can see that the punching was distributed evenly over this area, thus leaving no visible scarring due to topical over-punching, and in only 6 days the back donor has healed immensely due to low trauma and inhouse post operation care offered for free to all our patients. Similarly see the recipient area immediately post op and 8 Days after and observe the cleanliness of the work done and the fast clearing of all scabs, again due the post operation service provided by HDC Hair Clinic. 11. This is a classic NW Class 3 patient. 3200 Grafts were transplanted with FUE Method. The Medical Team of HDC Hair Clinic with leading physician being Dr Christina, have performed the operation. What needs to be taken as a lesson from this result is the following: · Good Hairline design for natural appearance · Grafts evenly distributed over the transplanted area with nice irregularity to the front · Grafts placed in the correct direction and pattern · Enough density to blend with thick hair behind the transplanted area and without using excessive number of grafts leaving more donor for the future. The patient if obviously very happy and any interested patient can choose the same team that has achieved this result and all the other results of HDC. Invest in your appearance and yourself. 12. This is a 38-year-old patient of NW class 4-5. He wanted to cover his whole boldness with about 6000 grafts. This would cause too much strain on the donor. Dr Christina managed to harvest 4350 grafts and covered most of the area. The result was presented by the patient in the Greek forum. We took the photos from the patient’s post, and we added the before and post op to complete the presentation. A list of the important factors for this result are the following: · Correct design and plan for the surgery · Sites and placing on hairline for natural result (See details on 11 days after) · Correct distribution and angulation of grafts for natural look · Correct distribution of density over the covered area · Punching and extraction of grafts distributed evenly throughout the donor area with avoiding scarring. · Post op care by HDC, offered free to all patients for 5 days post op, for keeping recipient clean of scabs, and donor treatment for faster healing. 13. This is a young patient 25 years old. He has thinning up To NW Scale 5. HDC Medical Team with leading physician being Dr Maras. The doctor Explained to the patient that all the thinning hair will fall in the next few years and the 2ndFUE operation will cover all the top area leaving a part of the crown Untouched. And then there will be a revaluation of the donor to see if and how we can proceed with further procedures. This is important to explain to young patients so that they know what the next steps will be so that they will prepare psychologically to what stage they will end up to. At HDC Hair Clinic we always put the wellbeing of the patient first, and we believe in the correct education of our patients. Furthermore, you can observe from the post op photos that the 3200 grafts were spread in a considerable area so that we can continue from there when the time comes for FUE2. And we are planning to spread even more the grafts on the 2nd surgery as coverage is more important for the patient than high density. You can also see we placed the hairline about 1cm higher than his existing one and it grew up nicely Blanding the hair below it. The secret of a successful hair transplant over time is the correct planning for now and the future to give a natural look to the patient. Before Immediately after 27 Months after
  14. This is a NW Class 5 patient who wanted to cover all his balding area. In order to achieve this, HDC Hair Clinic had to divide the covering of the baldness into 2 Sessions. The 1stFUE Hair Transplant was performed in September 2020 with 3670 grafts and the second one, 17 months later in April 2022 with 3700 grafts, giving a total of 7370 grafts. A conservative hairline design was applied that would give a natural look. This way we maintained naturality and saved using unnecessary grafts for lower hairline. Below we present the result of the first FUE with 3670 grafts and the post operation photos of the crown with 3700 grafts as this was done this week. Choose Sure Success for your Hair Transplant. 15. This patient had his 1stFUE Hair Transplant on May 2019 for 2900 grafts. We covered the front and spread some grafts behind the hairline in his existing hair. By the time of his 2ndFUE in October 2021 he lost his native hair in the transplanted area behind the hairline and also lost some hair behind that. So, we covered this area with another 2515 grafts. So, he had a total of 5420 grafts in 2 sessions. This result is presented only 5 months after 2ndFUE. 16. This is a 29-year-old patient that wanted to cover all his baldness. It was not possible to cover everything with one surgery, so we proceeded with 3475 grafts to cover the front and top area. We will cover the rest in a 2nd FUE Hair Transplant surgery. Therefore, you can notice the thin area behind the transplanted one in a photo below. It should be noted that we have designed the hairline slightly above his existing hair. The reason is for minimizing the final number of grafts needed for now and the future, and for achieving extra naturality. You can see the effect of how the exiting hair, add naturality, in the photos that hair is combed backwards. What we stress to our patients is that the most successful result is not the one with most density, but the one that looks most natural over time. Hair loss is a continues process and a long-term plan must be made to coordinate available donor with future expected hair loss. Before Immediately after 2 Years after
  17. When the patient came in to look for dates for his crown, this was the time that the photos was taken. The idea is to finish the coverage with the crown and then to try to grow the hair. However we still do not have a fixed date for the Transplantation of the crown.
  18. Many times, we have patients requesting to have a hair transplant but keep their transplanted hair, short to grade one. We consider appropriate to bring to their attention the fact that the donor may have signs of white dots and that the recipient may look better with longer hair. This NW class 6, and 46-year-old patient wanted to cover at least all the front and top area of his baldness, before to grow his hair. So, he kept his transplanted hair length to what you will see below. In his case we spread 3575 grafts to his front and mid top area without using high density. We present detailed photos of his result and his donor before, post op and 9 months after. We kept a high hairline and a design that would make the result look natural and without being detected as a hair transplant. We consider hair transplantation as a lifetime investment. Don’t seek for quick gains and long term loses. Before .. Immediately After 9 Months after
