  1. Not that much...but that was my choice. I posted here http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185728-~1200-grafts-%40-aek-dr-karadeniz.html
  2. I've had a procedure with him a week ago. He is conservative with his hairlines (looking into the future). Does extractions and incisions himself which is a big plus i think. Price/quality wise its great. However it was my first procedure so I can not compare
  3. Hello guys. It has been exactly 1 week since my HT at Dr.K in Istambul. Sorry for posting late but I figured I owe it to all of you to share my HT experience as well...especially since my scabs started coming off. I am 25 years old and I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that not only my hairline/temple area is receding but sides and back of the head as well... Dr.K drew a conservative hairline for me. I was sitting in a chair in Turkey and thinking "is it even worth fighting?..maybe I should just shave" since my donor area is apparently receding rapidly. I told my concerns to Dr and he said he cant operate on a patient who isnt even sure anymore. We talked and he told me I'm 1-2% of patients who actually want more conservative hairline - so he drew a new one. Worth mentioning that doctor told me that it's his "surgery day" and I can have as many grafts transplanted as I want...for the same price. Our thoughts behind this conservative decision: transplanted hair stay for my whole life, I am only 25 years old and only started taking finasteride now. If in the near future my body responds well to finasteride I can always 'improve' my hairline a bit...if needed. Truth is I only hated my deep temple area so Im excited to see what it looks like in a year or so. Although probably could have added some hair to my sides as well. Dr.K did all the excisions and incisions himself. Technicians just pulled grafts out and put them inside those incision areas. They told me it went well... I dont know if I forgot to mention anything but feel free to ask me anything These are my pre-op pics http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/185000-few-questions-photos.html
  4. Thank you to all of you guys! Surgical hat is a great idea...I just called my hotel's spa and I willl get one too
  5. Hello guys. I've just had a HT surgery and tomorrow I'm leaving from Turkey. My doctor told me I shouldnt even touch it for 2 days. My question is...Is there any way to hide my bandaged head while Im travelling home? Bandages cover around my head but not the top... If anyone has any ideas would appreciate to hear, thanks
  6. Looks amazing man! I think I have if not the same exact then veeery similar hairline to yours. I am having a procedure with DrK in december and hopefully I can get same results as you did! Not too aggressive - its perfect in my book
  7. Hello, glad to hear you enjoyed your procedure! It's a shame I havent heard about this doctor before...Poland is my neighboring country so may have saved me the trouble of flying. I already booked my first ever procedure with Dr.K in Istanbul in December (hopefully he's great as well ) If it isnt a secret...how much did you pay for your procedure in Wroclaw?
  8. Thanks I just havent heard about it before but seeing that its completely usual - I dont see the problem with it
  9. Hello guys, I just finished a video call with Dr. Karadeniz (Dr.K) from AEK HAIR INSTITUTE | hair, transplant, transplantation, turkey, istanbul, world, fue, fut, best, surgeon, doctor, abroad, cost, facial, before and after AEK Hair Institute It was very pleasant and informative and I made a reservation, they put a note. However in order for it to be 'fully reserved' they ask for 400 euro deposit (whole operation is ~2300euros). I am ok with paying that but I just wanted to know if thats a normal procedure. I am really excited for a possible surgery pretty soon but dont wanna rush into decision... Let me know what you think:)
  10. Thanks a lot for useful info JustJax! I am also considering HT in Turkey..
  11. Hello guys. First of all im a 25 student. I think my hairline got that V shape or whatever u call it when I was 18 or something like that. Since then its my main self confidence killer...to the point that I feel self conscious if i go swimming or sleep somewhere overnight I dont feel comfortable because of it. Every morning I spend at least 15minutes just washing my hair and trying to make my temples not look so deep. Then I spray hair spray to keep it in place (I sound like an obsessed man ). Since I havent experienced hair loss anywhere else I am considering hair transplantation in my temple area. I dont want anything too...exuberant (?). I think something similar to Aaron Paul's hairline would be perfect. I have lectures in university almost every day. Do they absolutely have to fully shave the head in order to transplant hair? How big of a transplantation would I possibly need? I would like to keep this procedure to myself, is it possible so that others wouldnt blatantly see that I've done this procedure? I live in kind of conservative and judgmental society so I have those concerns... How have you guys coped with getting back to work/school after transplantation? Thank you for your time and answers!
