  1. Good thread. I would not have thought to bring some of that. How come no advil?
  2. 12220??? Thought I read that wrong at first. Damn! Lol. Congrats!
  3. Congrats!! I will be following this one closely. Considering strip myself so hes on my short list. I watch all the youtube vids too!!
  4. The 17000 caught my attention. Lol. Dr Konior does great work. How was the graft number decided? Did you want to keep it to this number or was it his recommendation? Either way congratulations!!!
  5. My family doctor said to only use propecia and not avodart for hair loss. I don't think he deals with hair loss stuff alot though.
  6. Bloxham! I guessed wrong. Lol. He is actually one I have considered for surgery. He put up some front surgery cases that looked awesome. I would be a very happy camper if I turned out like that or you when my ht grew out. I want to ask him more about the topik thing though because I hope I can use it sooner than a month. Great growth though man! Congrats again.
  7. Prudence.... Good to hear that you would do it again in a second! I need frontal work just like you had done. I think the back is okay for now. I would like to use topik before 4 weeks though. That seems like a long time. But who is the doctor man? The work looks really good. I would be very happy if my front looked like that after the transplant so let us know if you can.
  8. Hair looks good! Who was the doctor that did your surgery? My hair used to have that poofy look in the front like yours does after the transplant. I loved it. Never had to do anything to my hair! Now looks thin and greasy after it started falling out. I tried the powder treatments (Topik worked best for me) but I think my hair is too thin now. Yours looks great but I have to put too much in mine and it ends up looking fake. I think it being in the front makes it worse. I want to use it as soon as I can after surgery though because I think it will look good with the transplants in and I can go back to work quicker. I have been trying to talk to doctors about when I can use it again after surgery. Did your doctor say when you could use it after the surgery? This is a big deal for me actually getting a transplant!
  9. Based on what I see online, no way would you see a scar with hair that long!
  10. Thanks Jax. Sounds like everything is going fine. I hope you will share updates about the redness. I think we have similar skin and I am curious to see how fast this fades for you.
  11. I thought it was all supposed to fall out after the transplant? Looks like the redness and inflamation is going down nicely. How noticeable does it look in person?
  12. Wow, not cool. Doesn't look obvious to me in those pictures, but it sounds like you can do more transplants if you want. They call that hair greed? Hilarious.
  13. Wow, nice. Thanks for showing the picture right after the surgery. I think it is important for people to see how they will look right after. Does the amount of redness or inflamation a patient has after the surgery make any difference in the final result?
  14. Good information. Glad to know there are some signs if youre going to be a high NW. I worry about this too because I have some guys in my extended family with high patterns. I think they are NV 6 and not 7s though. Another question, the inflamation from a transplant is different than regular inflamation in the body right? Can one affect the other or make it worse?
  15. Good stuff here, gents. Does anyone know if a transplant can set off inflamation or make it worse? Does inflamation affect your final hair loss pattern at all either?
  16. I will have to read more about kabooki before trying them. I am still really worried about the inflamation thing. I think it does play a role in hair loss. I am just starting to look into a transplant now. I think I would be a good candidate based on what I see on the different forums. Did not think I would get one either but here we are!
  17. I liked the wax better. It doesn't make the hair stick together as much so it doesnt look thinner like with gel. I'm scratching toppik off the list then. I don't want to risk adding more inflamation in the scalp. Have not heard of kabooki fibers. Are they differ than toppik? Safe to use after transplant?
  18. I have had better luck with wax in the past too. That was back when I had more hair in the front to wax! I want to try to toppik but worried it will cause inflamation in the scalp and make my hair loss worse. What kind of wax do you use Runner?
  19. Glad to know how long the scalp stays red. It helps for planning a HT.
  20. Sorry sam, that sounds hard. I thought the skin was usually kind of red after a transplant but then went back to the regular color. Is that normal? Was the steriod shot for inflamation?
